OP posts:

Well done on the 6.30 gym Mychild, that is mad great Grin. I was ineffectually batting off children and the cat at 6.30am. I suppose it was exercise of sorts!

2.5 mile walk done, will do 2.5 miles later. I also stopped and spent 20 minutes cutting back the under/overgrowth from the path through the woods. SHame i never spend any time on my own garden Hmm

Grapefruit for brekker, salad for lunch, shepherds pie for tea Smile

SharkBite · 29/02/2012 12:55

Another 2.5 miles walked, including pushing DD2 in the buggy back home and my back held up ok. Hurrah!

I have shamed myself into doing some gardening this afternoon too Shock

FjorGynAndHotWater · 29/02/2012 13:35

Good lass on the exercise / gardening. My garden bin is full and won't be collected till 20 March so that is my excuse for just sitting on the decking drinking tea Blush

At work now anyway, so far managing to resist the mini twixes. The lure of 1 stone off by Friday is quite strong! Just hope it can survive tea - everyone else will be having garlic bread with their pasta...

SharkBite · 29/02/2012 15:08

1.5 hrs gardening. Blimey! Back a little sore, but expected. Not posh enough here for green bins. I suspect i am supposed to compost everything, but mine is in a black bin in the dustbin Blush

Well done on your chocolate swerves Fjorn Smile. I am doing ok so far today. GBF called in sick this morning, but said he would come later once he had slept all day Grin. I have been saving calories for wine, so he ahd better bloody turn up!!

FjorGynAndHotWater · 29/02/2012 16:24

Hope your GBF turns up soon shark!

I am going home in 6 minutes and have managed to avoid the biscuit tin ALL DAY Shock Grin It is doubly impressive as am bloody starving now. Just the garlic bread to swerve now and an early night to avoid any further temptation Grin

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 29/02/2012 16:43

What is a GBF?

FjorGynAndHotWater · 29/02/2012 18:19

gay best friend mychild

No garlic bread, phew, am just reeling from the garlic breath of my children, never noticed it before!

SharkBite · 29/02/2012 18:28

Oops Wine and crisps already Blush

Well done Fjorn, you have more control than me. Obviously Grin

onanightlikethis · 29/02/2012 19:28

Ooh well done on the gardening. Its my personal hate. I used to like it when I had a small cottage garden that was mine with no kids but now garden is much bigger and full of plastic tat. It falls so far own my todo list....oh my child- I'd love o be in the gym at that time.. Just not possible here with logistics of kids. I'm waiting for the light mornings o I can try to run before work.
My GBF is coming over on Saturday. I can't wait. And you know what we are doing.....GOING to the gym for spin and body pump. Mind you I can't decide which will burn more als- body pump or 30 mins PT? What do u think?
After that here will be wine obviously as it's my birthday!!!
Having a tired day again. Eaten all my food or the day , just having a glass of wine. Power plate from last night really got my legs!

FjorGynAndHotWater · 01/03/2012 07:06

luckoftheirish · 01/03/2012 07:46

Just checking in Smile

Have been watching you all and am amazed by all your good results Grin

I am assuming from your Grin fjorny that you have hit the magical 1 stone ? GrinGrinGrin

Shark your weight loss has been amazing Smile

Great exercise digbeth and my child Smile

I am continuing with the exercise and have banished the scales Smile

FjorGynAndHotWater · 01/03/2012 08:26

Hello loti lovely to see you Smile glad to hear you have banished the scales. Are you managing to keep your obsession exercising to a reasonable amount? Wink

I have indeed lost a whole stone since 6 January GrinGrinGrin 3.25lb this week but it averages just under 1lb per week for the last five weeks so hopefully it is sustainable...

SharkBite · 01/03/2012 10:33

Ok, so yesterday wasn't great, but i only had a few crisps and some cheese & biscuits over my calories (not including my 5 mile walk allowance), so shouldn't have gone over burn . I will try and be good at lunchtime but i already have a chip craving Blush

Woo hoo for a stone off Fjorn GrinGrin. I hope it stays off for 'official' weigh day Wink. Next target 1/2 stone by Easter?

Digbert - I am LOL'ing at the thought of my GBF and me at the gym. Never going to happen!

Lovely to see you stop by LOTI, well done on scales banishing & i hope you are feeling a bit happier in yourself. Smile

FjorGynAndHotWater · 01/03/2012 11:18

Very well done at not going over burn shark and hope you had a lovely time Smile

Re target for Easter, I have a weekend away at drunken friend's house and also my birthday before Easter so half a stone is fairly unlikely! I am just going to keep going on the cottage cheese and scrambled eggs & bacon and see what happens. 5lb off would be good as it gets me just into the normal BMI at the height I tell people I am not my new shrunken stature...

SharkBite · 01/03/2012 14:27

Chips n cider. Om nom

Lovely healthy lunch eaten and walked 2 miles.

SharkBite · 01/03/2012 17:02

Walked another 1.25 miles Smile

14 miles tramped this week and 1.5hrs gardening. Not bad for a creaky back person....

I am going to the gym tomorrow but will not be partaking in killer circuits. I think a nice gentle run whilst watching homes under the hammer should be fine Grin

onanightlikethis · 01/03/2012 20:05

OMG just ran 12k!! Forest gump or what? Thats the furthest i have ever run..... And it wasn't even that hard!!!!am grinning like a loon. Back after a shower.

onanightlikethis · 01/03/2012 20:53

TAke care with that back shark.- maybe a walk would e better than a jog? Well den fjor at a stone- that's amazing!
Nice o see you loti - hope u are keeping well. I'm off to the gym on my bike tomorrow if the weather is nice.
Isn't exercise fab? Xx

SharkBite · 01/03/2012 21:00

LOL at those endorphins Digbert. I am missing it, but actually in some ways it has been lovely to be 'forced' to do lots of walking. The weather has been lovely and i have had a very enjoyable week Smile

After my 24hrs off i have pulled it back from the brink and just had a mixed tuna salad and a yoghurt for dinner

No idea what the scales will say in the morning Confused

Good luck all Smile

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 01/03/2012 21:15

Where can I get a GBF? I've always wanted one! Grin

Woo hoo Fjorg on the stone....that's a whole dress size! What did you do differently this week that you lost over 3lb?

Good walking Shark...that's more mileage than I've clocked up this week, and that's without a poorly back and training for a 10K!

I'm having a majorly hungry week this week, and I've just realised it's coming up to TOTM which is a relief because it's been soooo hard to keep within cals. I've had to resort to eating my exercise cals, which I don't usually.

Good to see you're ok LOTI. Did you get my PM?

Sooo tired tonight. Early night for me.

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 01/03/2012 21:18

And 12K dig? Envy

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 01/03/2012 21:21

Scales have been saying 9st 4 all week. Jumped on them this morning and they said 9st 5 Angry. Then TOTM started, thank goodness. Hoping for 9st 2 next Friday!

onanightlikethis · 01/03/2012 21:26

Oh my child that was me past 4-5 days. Just wanted to et everything in sight.
12k I know- I mapped it when I got home and ha to recheck it! I have been running since January and have noticed a real improvement in my technique.somedaysyou can just run and run. Other days it's such a struggle.
GBF are fab. He's godfather to the kids who actually call him their Fairygodfather! Sleep time managed to resist the wine x

onanightlikethis · 01/03/2012 21:27

Ooh 9.2 is around my target.....

SharkBite · 02/03/2012 07:45

-3.25 to 10.3.5

Woo woo. Once I start exercising again it will probably go back on Hmm

12k is an impressive run Dibgert. How long did that take?
