Been AWOL. February was not a great month and didn't Dukan 100%. Am getting my mojo back though and am back on it completely tomorrow with no cheats whatsoever. Hubby has done it better than me and since January 1st, our official start date, he has lost 13kg and looks great! I will be back posting tomorrow onwards. Drywhite - go you. Well done!

winkle2 · 08/03/2012 17:32

well done to hubby!

and well done drywhite!

I have a wedding next weekend so thinking of doing 5 PP days in a row for a final boost.

winkle2 · 08/03/2012 17:43

Forgot to post todays menu

yoghurt
skinny latte

yoghurt with oat bran
chicken

bacon and eggs for dinner ? don't think I can face chilli without the rice!

Dastardly27 · 08/03/2012 17:57

I am doing PP for 10 days - at least! Am allowed a small onion so will have that with the odd bit of cow. Got more eggs in today for my bacon and eggs. Have got mackeral in mustard sauce too. Dukan says it's not allowed but the carbs are 1% or less so don't understand why. Anyway, sod him. It's fish and it's not done me any harm in the past.
You've barely eaten anything today winkle - is that the amount you normally eat/drink?

winkle2 · 08/03/2012 18:38

My menu does look quite sparce doesn't it?

I don't eat much on this dukan diet :(

drywhiteplease · 08/03/2012 22:18

dastardly !!!!!where have you been? How's it going?

drywhiteplease · 08/03/2012 22:19

winkle aren't you hungry?

winkle2 · 08/03/2012 22:33

Not really, just bored!

Tomorrows menu

scrambled eggs if I get up in time!
yoghurt with oat bran

lunch is chilli con carne (its still knocking around!)

chicken salad for dinner

drywhiteplease · 08/03/2012 23:02

I made a huge beef casserole today that will probably last as long as your chili!

winkle2 · 08/03/2012 23:13

Planning on doing a cottage pie this weekend with a carrot and swede mash topping....

I need to make a few dishes this weekend - bored of dry chicken for lunch!

blackcatsdancing · 08/03/2012 23:35

Hi all,
i'm waiting for my copy of the life plan to come from Amazon but as i'm impatient i wondered how cows milk fits into the Dukan?

drywhiteplease · 09/03/2012 06:59

Fine as long as its skimmed and there is a limit to how much you can have....think it's a litre of dairy daily ( includes yogurt and cottage cheese etc)

Dastardly27 · 09/03/2012 09:42

yeah it is a litre. February was not a great month drywhite, but carbs have been kept to a minimum. Am only 1.9kg up on what I was at the end of January. Still, back to it now. Husband looks great - and I will too. Determined now. He had a big fat belly (making him sound nice, I know!lol) but it's practically gone and he can wear jeans he's not worn for ages. I will not be fat this summer, I won't! Went through this thread and wrote down the recipe for the leek and onion soup and the crab cakes.

winkle2 · 09/03/2012 10:15

Ooh the leek and onion soup sounds nice - can you post the recipe?

I've faffed around this week alot and havent lost a single pound :O( So back on it with a vengeance. I know this works so just have to stick with it!

Funnily enough, I dont find weekends hard on a diet, it's being bored at work that makes me reach for food!

Dastardly27 · 09/03/2012 11:17

2 leeks, one onion, chicken stock.
Sauté the leeks and onions - add a bit of stock if needed.
Add enough stock to cover the leeks and onions and leave on a low heat to simmer for about 10mins.
Blend/blitz.

olijackmum · 09/03/2012 12:37

how do you do the chilli . I am starting the attack on sunday
Are you allowed weight watchers cheese do you know if its just alittle bit to put in an omelette

winkle2 · 09/03/2012 12:47

olijackmum can you please eat my chilli! I brought it in for lunch and had chicken salad instead!

hubby made it with extra lean mince beef, onion, garlic and peppers. fry until browned. add tinned tomatoes and chilli spices such as coriander, chilli, etc.

olijackmum · 09/03/2012 13:18

And is tin toms ok on the pv days

drywhiteplease · 09/03/2012 13:26

Tomatoes fine on pv days.
My weight has stagnated now for 10 days.am beginning to wonder whether I might have reached my "true" weight".am happy with the loss and feel thrilled just wanted to loose another 3 lbs to get to my target round no.what do we think?

winkle2 · 09/03/2012 16:15

drywhite ? i say keep going for another week. try a few more PP days?

2 weeks in and I'm so bored of this diet!

Todays menu has been

scrambled eggs
yoghurt with oat bran

chicken salad
yoghurt

skinny latte

2 cans sugar free fizz

chicken and salad for dinner this eve

winkle2 · 09/03/2012 16:16

Oh and I are the chilli for a snack! Only 1 more portion to go LOL

drywhiteplease · 09/03/2012 16:49

Swap you some beef casserole for some chilli!
Turkey burgers tonight.

winkle2 · 09/03/2012 18:03

That should have said I ate the chilli as a snack.

Anyone else extremely thirsty on this diet?

drywhiteplease · 09/03/2012 23:42

Consolidation is tempting...ooooh an apple yippee! Cheese !
