I tried on about 50 different sea folly bikinis and tons of them were nice. Think I will look better in my one piece but if it's very hot I'll just feel like being in a bikini. I can't wait!

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 22:40

molly where are you going? Lucky you just as the big freeze is starting here.
And i always stress about swimwear ,which is pretty traumatic ,but when i get on the beach/ by the pool and look around I wonder what I was worried about....not the best figure but certainly not the worst....I am sure you will look amazing in your new bikini, get fake tanning and take a sarong and cool shades, you will be fine.

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 22:42

Oh and dastardly can we come round so you can give us all reduced price colonics....think I have bit of hose pipe in garage...will that do? Ha ha!

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 22:45

Oops me again....meant to say Iwanttogothere you have lost nearly 5lbs which is great.how long have you been on the diet....it's nearly half a stone....so keep going there is no way you won't loose weight.

Mollyfloss · 27/01/2012 22:48

I am going to the Bahamas!!! :) :) :) Never have been and can't wait. It's an American friends 39th (yes 39th) birthday and they have invited a bunch of friends there. It's only for 5 days (4 nights) but the in laws are looking after the kids and it's just me and DH going. I'm a bit m nervous about leaving the kids and DH and I getting on the same plane without them (irrational I know) Nonetheless I am also really looking forward to it! It will basically be a whole bunch of couples our age who have left their kids at home so you can imagine the party atmosphere.

I look ok in the bikini except for the pot belly (which looks better in a one piece).

Mollyfloss · 27/01/2012 22:52

Any tips for the fake tan? I have san tropez mousse which is quite good. I also bought the Nivea build up one but haven't tried it yet. Maybe getting myself spray tanned right before I leave would work best? but then would I lose it all as soon as I get in the pool? 've never had a spray tan before. I need some cool shades too. Couldn't find a good kaftan but have some cute little beach dresses.

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 23:03

Spray tan is good but WATCH YOUR HANDS!!!!! You have been told. I am quite pale so asked for pale one but my hands were orange which was awful. I have had good ones though. Tried st trop where they apply it as a cream and did not like it at all.
I prefer build up ones because you can use as a moisturiser in the eve when on hols and just look more natural.......also no white crescent where saggy bum blocked spray, the shame!(sure you have pert derrière so would not be prob).
With three kids in 3 1/2 yrs you really deserve a fab break.v exciting ( you can leave mum you in uk).

Mollyfloss · 27/01/2012 23:09

Thanks drywhite. Good advice. I'm quite pale too so the more natural looking one is what I need. Just a bit of a glow.

minceorotherwise · 27/01/2012 23:31

Do not ask for medium. Take it from me. I still have the photos. Oh the shame.

drywhiteplease · 28/01/2012 08:49

Mollyfloss · 28/01/2012 10:08

Well done dry! Enjoy your burns night!

drywhiteplease · 29/01/2012 16:50

Hello all......Sundays are now a bit like groundhog day.roasting chicken breasts, making smoked salmon pâté and sf jelly in large quantities, stocking up on eggs and yogurt for week ahead.fun fun fun!
Must have smashed my daily exercise record on dance floor last night.......and am still in one piece despite the totally impractical 4in platform Mary janes!not too much cheating so think it went ok.

WentworthMillerMad · 29/01/2012 18:59

Hello!
I reached my goal weight of 10st 6. Am 5ft 8
So am happy with that. I know if I loose more I have no bosom! ! !
Am working on maintaining now.
Will I ever Dukan again!? Hell yes! Best diet I ever did and am accepting the fact that if I cut out the bread, pasta and sugar the weight comes off.
Keep going dukaners, it works! Still cutting the carbs mon - fri and having a 'free weekend'. Seems to be working so far!

hi everyone.Had my 2 week weigh in and 11lbs off in total , so very pleased with that! it's a much needed boost , DH made some bread this afternoon and it smelled gorgeous .I had to go out else i'd have crumbled.
I'm going to have to really boost my resistance exercises as I can already see loose skin :-(

minceorotherwise · 29/01/2012 19:29

Well done wentworth and dandelions. I fell off the wagon in a big way today!!! But back on that horse tomorrow!!!

drywhiteplease · 29/01/2012 20:10

dandelionss congrats too.this really is a fantastic diet.

Mollyfloss · 29/01/2012 20:44

Well done everyone!

I fell of the wagon in a big way too last night and today so I am back on pp tomorrow. I need to shift the last couple of pounds by the end of the week and then stabilise before my trip.

cutteduppear · 29/01/2012 22:43

Can anyone give advice on meals for this vegetarian here? Well I'm pescatarian really, I will eat fish, but no way will I eat meat and no way gelatine.

drywhiteplease · 29/01/2012 22:50

Have wondered how veggies do Dukan.fish fish and more fish.and cottage cheese.
I eat a lot of galettes with smoked salmon or smoked mackerel pate on top or cottage cheese on top. lots of seared tuna steaks.loads of prawns .....ESP king prawns with lime juice and loads blk pepper.tinned tuna easy. And don't forget crab sticks which are addictive.there is a fab salmon fish cake recipe on this thread too.

Mollyfloss · 30/01/2012 18:29

Ooooh yes, I cooked the thai fishcakes on Friday and they were delish! Back on pp today for my sins at the weekend. Porridge, 2 0% activias, fishcakes & steak.

drywhiteplease · 30/01/2012 20:12

Ooh ladies... Here is a funny one for you. Was in gym today and a friend said " have you lost weight or have you just bought new trousers?" the answer was yes to both ! Did not know what to say....but quite happy that someone has noticed (even if it was just the flattering new trousers!)

IWantToGoToThere · 30/01/2012 22:13

Congratulations on hitting goal Wentworth that's really inspiring. And an 11lb loss in 2 weeks dandelion? That is phenomenal and I'm really jealous! Today was my 2 week weigh in too, and I've only lost 2.4kg (about 5.5lb) so considerably slower unfortunately. Have you noticed a big change in your clothing? I've noticed my trousers are a little looser but that's about it. Will keep going for another 4 weeks or so, but if I am still losing at this weight, I think I'll try weightwatchers as I tend to lose the same at the same rate as i currently am (when I did it a few years ago for my wedding) and at least with WW I can have the odd glass of wine!

drywhite great compliment!

Mollyfloss · 30/01/2012 22:19

Yeah drywhite! I bet you look fab! I'm starting to think that it just might not be possible for me to lose these last 4 lbs. I'm quite stuck and someone said to me recently that older women (meaning in their 30's and onwards) should never try to lose the last 4 lbs whatever that means....

drywhiteplease · 30/01/2012 23:12

Perhaps because as we get older (whispers she is 45 but does not act it) we look scrawny if we loose too much weight ?i would settle with scrawny though!wierd thing to say though ESP since surely it all depends on how much one wants to loose.
I also think this diet is up and down...you loose weight and then seem to get stuck and them loose weight again.TBH though is 4lb going to make you enjoy your holiday more/less since you are in great shape already?
Keep going but don't let it spoil your hols.
