Yes d the article was in mail a while ago! Funny that you read it too.

Have just had lunch (only had activia for b and starving after 2hrs in gym.........McDonald's drive through so tempting!).....have rewarded self with heavenly lunch.made galette with powdered egg white (wierd) and then had 2 poached eggs on top.closest you can get to poached egg on toast ! Delicious!

minceorotherwise · 26/01/2012 16:41

Porridge....oatbran mixed with a bit of sweetner then skim milk, microwave for about minute and a half, keep stirring until it's thickened. It really feels like a treat!!

IWantToGoToThere · 26/01/2012 19:49

Correction to fishcake recipe Sorry - not sure why I said an onion AND 3 spring onions. It's the spring onions only, NO ADDED ONION. I blame the lack of carbs for brain fail

minceorotherwise · 26/01/2012 22:16

Ooh are we allowed spring onions?

drywhiteplease · 26/01/2012 22:27

Pp tomorrow boo !

Mollyfloss · 26/01/2012 22:36

Hello! Sorry have not been on. Just been crazy with the kids etc.

Re the colonic yes I did lose weight! about 1.5lb and it also helped me break a psycological barrier because nothing was coming off for quite a while before this. I think you can lose up to 5lbs with a colonic but 1.5lbs would be about right for me taking into account my size. Am getting another one next week (good to do a couple for the full cleanse) and that should do me for a while :)

I'm very close to the finishing line, only 3 or 4 lbs to go but these are the REALLY tough ones. I'm also doing pv everyday. If I don't lose more in a few days I might do one pp day. I have 2 wks before my trip. I'm going to buy a bikini tomorrow. Any one know of good ones that pull up your boobs and pull in your stomach. You know a bit of support for a woman in her 30's who's like a car wreck after having 3 kids in 3.5 yrs!

Had a great cheat meal last night and miraculously wasn't any heavier this morning (although I was up half the night with 3 yr old bizarrely wanting to eat special k and saying she had an earache, which turns out was fine)

Thai fishcakes sound divine. Will be great with a bit of yoghurt and chives - that's my dinner for tomorrow sorted!

Drywhite: you're definitely not a loser/lurker! We're all winners here :) This thread is FAB for support - love it! Go on and enjoy your burns night. I think you deserve a cheat!

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 08:29

mollyfloss well done! Bikinis eek! If I were you I would order loads on line (fig leaves.com and there's an Australian brand which I can't think of ) and try on at home.or a really big dept store.

Today I am on a course (always a prob staying awake on these!)and wearing my new slim cut jeans which I bought yesterday (whispers a size smaller than normal!) with my lovely conked brown platform boots...I feel tall and thin!Grin

Weigh in tomorrow before burns night blow out ....Wink

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 08:32

I meant conker brown!

mollyfloss it's sea folly.com.....really lovely, but not cheap.

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 08:35

P.s I am taking my chicken in handbag to course....a lady should always have chicken in handbag n'es pas !

minceorotherwise · 27/01/2012 09:17

Molly..try fantasie too. Hide a multitude of sins....

Mollyfloss · 27/01/2012 15:24

Thanks for the tips for the swimwear. I've checked out seafolly & fantasie and have found stockists not far from here. Right I'll try to get the baby fed etc and off I go!

So far today:
Porridge
Meatballs left over from last night
Ham & onion omelette

Mollyfloss · 27/01/2012 15:42

drywhite: meant to say well done! I bet you look fab in your jeans and boots!

Dastardly27 · 27/01/2012 18:25

Evening! Might have to try the porridge for something different. Well done drywhite for the new size smaller jeans. What a boost. Oooo, Molly you're going to have a second irrigation. I used to give these as a student nurse before they became 'trendy'lol Weighed in today and 5.4kg loss for January. Started the first. Could have been more if I hadn't cheated with wine. Back on it 100% on Sunday after the meal out. Molly again - oh a lovely bowl of Special K. Mmmmmmm - your daughter is sooooooo lucky. I look longingly at my son's bowl of cheerios on a morning. One day in the NEAR future......lol

minceorotherwise · 27/01/2012 19:15

I'm wavering over chocolate tonight. Already have a glass of verboten vino....want to look good when I go out tommorow night. If I cheat tonight, will it show by tomorrow? What do we think?

Dastardly27 · 27/01/2012 19:25

mince - I felt like a fat blob today and wasn't going to get on the scales but did and was pleasantly surprised. Apparently it does take 2 days for any naughtiness to show it's face on them so I would say no! I was getting disheartened thinking would never be slim again, TOTM so blame that, and the scales today boosted me to carry on (although had not thought of not carrying on after doing this for almost a month) and just get stricter! Enjoy the wine and have a fab time tomorrow night.

minceorotherwise · 27/01/2012 19:41

Thanks Dastardly, maybe a small cheat this evening then!!!! Well done, bloody hell, a month is seriously good going!

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 20:38

Will try porridge too.

2 tbsp bran
Sweetener
But how much milk exactly ?

Also wondering whether I might add cinnamon and sweetener to my galette.....someone mentioned something like this a while back....what do we think?

Weigh in tomorrow....must be good after week long pre-menstral-non-weight-shift (PMNWS?).Desperate to add more data to my weight bot.

Btw for ages I thought SWI was a exclusive London dukan code for some slimming secret....relieved to discover it's a "sneaky weigh in" lol GrinGrin I'm so dim...but wasn't before this diet!!!!!! Sad need Wine

minceorotherwise · 27/01/2012 20:43

I do the milk until it covers the bran and a bit more (for luck), but to be fair I think I have stalled due to too much dairy. We will see when I try to squeeze my fat ass into a dress tomorrow night...still haven't got the hang of galettes...where can you get ready made ones? No one said ???
But cinnamon might work in the porridge, or nutmeg ???
SWI (snort)

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 20:53

There must be a smiley for that mince!

drywhiteplease · 27/01/2012 20:58

I have a feeling it was dastardly who saw them ....but in France?
mince don't mention fat arse...I 'm sure it's a fit arse.....never mention bad bits then hopefully no one will notice!

Dastardly27 · 27/01/2012 21:02

mince - galettes were in a French supermarket. Am thinking now that I should buy them next week and can review them on here. This supermarket has special K type bars(dukan) and ready meals too. I can suck in my tummy now and actually think I am slim although I am not. Did my measurements ages ago. Would recommend that. When the scales are pissing you off the tape measure probably won't be.

minceorotherwise · 27/01/2012 21:24

Drywhite ;)
Dastardly, maybe you could set up a nice little sideline and be our Dukan importer? You could be our mule?!

IWantToGoToThere · 27/01/2012 21:47

Looking forward to trying the porridge for breakfast tomorrow. Sounds yum.

My husband was begging for a takeaway tonight so instead of my planned dinner of a prawn omlette, I had steamed fish and boiled veges with oyster sauce. I think there was definitely some oil in there but on the whole, I think it was pretty dukan friendly. Huband is currently munching on prawn crackers though. Gah!

I know I keep banging on about the scales but I'm still not doing much better - 100g loss in 2 days so a total of 2.1kg lost. I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong as was expecting it to fly off, given that I have about 3 stone to lose. Grrrrrrrrrrr.

Mollyfloss · 27/01/2012 21:56

Dastardly: That's an impressive weight loss!

Minceorotherwise: enjoy the wine but try to resist the chocolate if you can I've some in the cupboard and am also VERY tempted. I'd love of gls of wine too but will stay off til tomorrow night when I know I will be even more tempted

Drywhite: add 4-6 tbsps of milk to your 2 tbsps of oatbran. I add sweetener to the porridge and to the galette mix. I also eat the galette with a dollop of fromage frais.

I got a bikini: A seafolly one. They have a fab range! Tks for the tip dry white, I didnt know about them til today. I wish I could do something about my pot belly (caused by a ventral hernia due to the pregnancies). I am working on it and it has come down a lot but am not sure I will ever have a flat belly again without surgery :(

minceorotherwise · 27/01/2012 22:20

So have resisted the choc and had porridge and a couple of glasses of wine. Weird mix but hey ho. Sea folly are FAB!!!
