On another note I seem to be much more "regular" now. Not going 3 days inbetween any more. It seems to be a daily occurrence.

Anyone else?

Dastardly27 · 20/01/2012 10:57

What 'shred' is this Molly? I have Gillian Michaels 30 day shred and that is good. Flipping good workout for 20mins. I must be Dukan's long lost daughter. I am not craving veggies at all. Was glad to have a pp day after my chicken curry (pan!!!lol) last week. Supposedly having them on Monday, so my husband says. Just put the grill on now to have steak. Need to take stuff out of the freezer for later. Going to shop this afternoon and am going to scour the shelves for low fat mozzarella.

Dastardly27 · 20/01/2012 11:00

Oh, and the scales thing. This is why I hate them because the number becomes important. We're all doing Dukan as we want to lose it fast, I know that, but drywhite - don't be disheartened. I bet you feel better and lighter than 6lbs even if the scales don't show it. You, and we, are doing fab. Go get yourself another SF jelly and be pleased with your loss to date :)

IWantToGoToThere · 20/01/2012 12:15

Yep, I'm talking about the 30 day shred molly. There are a few threads on it in diet/weightloss which will be able to explain it far better than I can. It is really hard but only 30 mins a session, and when you don't have time to go to the gym (like me), it's a great alternative.

Yes, I'm getting hung up on the scales I think. But noticeable differences in my clothing are going to take a few weeks so I need the assurance that I'm losing on a daily basis.

I'm sure it will happen, so just need to hang in there and quit whining I think! I'm losing the weight to get healthy enough to have another baby so I need to keep my eyes on the prize.

I had 0% yoghurt for breakfast and will have cottage cheese, beef slices and surimi sticks for lunch. Am planning on making turkey meatballs for dinner so have to save my egg and oatbran allowance for those. Yum (I hope!)

dandelionss · 20/01/2012 12:26

Alouisee-i din't have that problem,in fact the exact opposite. But i'm happy to say my bowels seem to have sttled down now.Although I'm on my first PV day so that might change things!

drywhiteplease · 20/01/2012 15:32

Thanks everyone for your encouragement! Just having pathetic winge but now over it!
Should we call ourselves the crab stick club!
dastardly sf jelly does make you feel better.i was going to trial a chocolate meringue with Splenda and cocoa powder......but it seems that although cc powder is not sweet it has more than 10% sugar ! Boo.

drywhiteplease · 20/01/2012 15:37

And my bowels also seem to have given up their strike and are now cooperating!toilet jokes anyone? ........should this be called the Poocan phase?!!!!

drywhiteplease · 20/01/2012 15:37

Or the poos phase?!

Dastardly27 · 20/01/2012 17:31

drywhite - if we are going to be renamed that then 'stick' but never be left out!!!!!haha

dandelionss · 20/01/2012 18:23

mmm cauliflower pizza was really nice and VERY filling .The crispy bits of cauliflower were absoluetly gorgeous. I am going to use it as topping on shepherds pie or fish pie next.

Thanks for sharing it!

I noticed today i could walk past a bakery without my tastebids tingling. In fact felt no carb-lust at all!!

drywhiteplease · 20/01/2012 18:50

dandelionss your predictive text is fab!

drywhiteplease · 20/01/2012 20:04

alouisee have just bought the weight bot app.great !

Preciousdaisybear · 20/01/2012 21:53

Has anyone found it really hard to shift lbs when going from one stone to another. Have 2lbs to break through but just not moving. Really frustrating and now fed up with self as stumbled across xmas cake in cupboard and before I knew it I had scoffed a slice. Arghh. However, cake now in bin and good intentions reinstated. Will drink masses of water and be good this weekend. On pp till Wed.

Mollyfloss · 20/01/2012 22:09

I am getting a bit sick of all that protein & 0% dairy. Can we really have 1l of dairy? Thank God it's a pp & veg day tomorrow. Think I will do one on Sunday too. It's impossible to do just pp on the weekend.

Mollyfloss · 20/01/2012 22:11

Precious: I am a bit stuck too. It feels like a couple of pounds shift then I get stuck the all of a sudden another couple shift but I'm stuck right now. :(

drywhiteplease · 20/01/2012 22:25

I am stuck too.must just be the way the diet goes.honestly I just don't believe that we won't continue to loose weight eating what we are.

precious my Christmas cake went in bin too.......if it had stayed on my work top I would have cracked, such a shame.

Preciousdaisybear · 20/01/2012 22:32

Ahh, think I might be overdoing the dairy. Forgot about the 1l thing. Will cut back and see what happens. Hey ho for tomorrow...

Mollyfloss · 20/01/2012 22:37

Me too I think. How much is a 170g yoghurt in ml?

Mollyfloss · 20/01/2012 22:39

It feels now that I would lose more weight eating pp & veg every day because when I have veg then automatically eat less protein & dairy and more veg which has less calories. I know Dukan doesn't like to talk about calories but still...

Alouisee · 21/01/2012 08:27

A milestone has been reached 12lbs down so 12lbs to go. I am at the half way mark just in time for tonight's planned cheat.

Givien up flavoured yogurts has helped this week. I know that sweeteners don't agree with me and I'm pretty sure that bloody guar gum doesn't either. Wtf is guar gum anyway??

Mollyfloss · 21/01/2012 13:26

Congrats Alouisee! What are you having for your planned cheat?

So far today: onion omelette
Tall, skinny, decaff, sugar free vanilla latte from Starbucks
2 M&S count on us vanilla yoghurts
Grilled chilli chicken & coriander beef with salad (something I found freshly cooked at a stall in the market)

Are the lattes and the count on us yoghurts allowed? Hmm

drywhiteplease · 21/01/2012 14:34

Alouisee really pleased for you.enjoy your dinner.

I am off to get new scales....after pp day still only half a pound in a week!

Alouisee · 21/01/2012 16:42

Planned cheat - duck salad, wine, roast beef with Yorkshires, wine, apple pie, wine, lemon meringue pie, Roquefort, wine ...you get my drift.

dandelionss · 21/01/2012 20:51

Aloisee-well done that is fab news.Enjoy your well earned cheats

Preciousdaisybear · 21/01/2012 21:09

Good news! Even with the Christmas cake scoff scales haven't punished me. Not lost anything but not put on either, so surprised. Still aiming to break thru to next stone by Monday:o and then veggies here I come. Can't wait.
