Hello

I started off well,

Drinks -

cup of tea with 2 sugars

Food

Basmati rice - 370 cal 3.9 grams of fat
Tuna - 113 cals 0.5 grams of fat

Cheese Pizza (it had to be eaten) loads of cals and loads of fat!

Anyone know how many calories or grams of fat I should be eating in a day? cause i want to eat less than that!

(posted this on other thread but have moved it to here)

Is anyone watching that programme on channel 4 with gillian mckeith - you are what you eat or something. And also did anyone see that programme last night on channel 5, the bloke that ate himself to death?? Made me even more determinded to diet!

blondehelen · 03/01/2006 20:46

i did e mail. did you receive? If not will e mail again. BTW I am 5'4

Crystaltips · 03/01/2006 20:47

UCM - just emailed my details .... sure I posted a while ago that I'd like to join

bubblerock · 03/01/2006 20:47

I'm watching it!!! Gross, so glad I'm not eating that stuff - wish she didn't keep showing indian food though, I fancy something spicy

Hulababy · 03/01/2006 20:49

I am back ont he diet starting Monday - is it too late to join then?

RTKangaSantaMummy · 03/01/2006 20:52

can I join without revealing my weight ????

how does it work ???

deenewyearward · 03/01/2006 20:52

Was doing fine, then had a bag of buttons, and some other chocolate that I found, if I could give up the brown stuff, I would lose so much weight?

DustAnyone · 03/01/2006 20:53

Tamba, I'm going to stick to 1500 calories a day. I bought an A-Z book of calories in WH Smiths yesterday, actually its more like a magazine.

It lists every sort of food you can think of, including fast food, and it was only £2.30.

TambaTheDragonSlayer · 03/01/2006 20:59

how many calories should we eat, calculator

Says i should eat 2000 so I am going to do the same as you and go with 1500

RTKangaSantaMummy · 03/01/2006 21:01

oh I haven't got any scales either and don't go shopping in town

so I will be a half member iyswim

is that ok?

DustAnyone · 03/01/2006 21:04

Wow, it says I should eat 2500! I must either be heavier or taller than you, or both!

I'm still gonna try and stick to 1500.

tangerinecath · 03/01/2006 21:05

UCM - just realised that I emailed you from work and I don't think I gave you my MN nickname! Will try again tomorrow

DustAnyone · 03/01/2006 21:05

I'm really hoping this thread will keep me going in the evenings. Thats when I start to pick at all the wrong things

Loobz · 03/01/2006 21:06

UCM - love our club name

tangerinecath · 03/01/2006 21:07

Apparently I can have 2250 cals a day so I reckon about 1700 should do it.

The big slab of Christmas Cake I've just polished off doesn't count, right

UCM · 03/01/2006 21:10

Sorry if I double email you all the chart. Haven't had time to file emails.

Done quite well:

Freshly squeezed orange/grapefruit juice
1 piece of toast with marmite

Banana

Big bowl of homemade veg soup
slice of granary bread

2 biscuits (oops)

Salmon
mashed pots
peas

several cups of tea (some peppermint)
Not enough water

Was feeling tempted to go and eat some ice cream though....

DustAnyone · 03/01/2006 21:23

What veg did you put in your soup?
