Welcome to my November boot camp!

Starting on tuesday (Nov 1st) I will be commencing my November boot camp. The rules are:

  1. 30 mins exercise every day
  2. No booze and lots of water
  3. No processed food and lots of fruit and veg

That's it. Easy right? Join me if you want to, i'm aiming to lose at least a stone, (ideally 1.5 stone by middle of Dec) taking me to 10st. I'll be weighing in on Fridays and logging food/exercise diary here to keep on track.

Count me in. I have started healthy eating over the last week but am back at work tomorrow and am already feeling stressed and hav eaten two chocolate bars tonight!! Am aiming to get up really early to start couch to 5k. Have downloaded the podcasts and so hopefully am ready to go! I would love to lose a stone by Christmas.

Welcome ladies - a stone by christmas is so doable! And you'll be amazed how quickly you can get into the running way I used to run regularly and although i've not for a year or so I can still do 5k in 30 mins now. My exercise will be 30 min jog, 30 min Davina or 30 min Wii fit. See you both on Tues!

Yes please. I'm sick of the sight of my spreading bulk. I look like a fat old matron from behind. I need to lose 25lbs, but a healthy loss of about 8lb in November would do fine.

me. i'm on another thread with moosemama but everyone else left us Blush that said i'm moving into a new determinded phase and found myself uttering the words 'boot camp' t'other day. sooooo, just in time, and all that. (i haven't abandoned you, moose!)

i've got about 2.5 stone to lose (slightly less as i've been losing a bit over the last couple of months, but need to ramp it up). will be davina or running at the mo, but am considering shred as it seems to be de rigeur with lots of great results!

Morning all! Time to start!

My plan today:
Breakfast - yoghurt with fruit/seeds/honey
Lunch - pumpkin soup and ryvita
Dinner - veggie curry, daal and a bit of rice

Exercise - plenty of vigorous cleaning!!

I have been up all night with poorly DS, literally 1 hours sleep Sad but I will not let this get me reaching for the biscuit jar! It does explain the use of housework as exercise though...better than nothing when i'll have no child free time today as he'll be off school and i'm absolutely knackered!

Signing in for bootcamp at 11st7. Target weight 10st.

Morning All

Have done a 20 minute cardio workout this morning, slice of toast then off to work. Lunch will be falafael and spinach salad, dinner will be soup and salad. I am a creature of habit so this will probably stay the same all week Grin.

morning,ill join you. Started 2011 at 15st 6, currently at 12st. Due to exp changing contact I am only able to go to the gym once a week now-but havent been since end of summer holidaysBlush Can feel everything wobbling again when im walking up and down stairs etc...yuk! need to get back on target!
This morning Ive done 15 mins of dance wkout and had a yogurt for breakfast.

Starting at 11st 7lb - desperate to lose a stone, but struggling to shift it!
Breakfast - 2 slices weightwatchers toast, 1 poached egg
Lunch will be ryvita and low fat cottage cheese
dinner - not sure yet but will involve pumpkin (soup?)

Are we to weigh in every Tuesday?

Hello - would love to join. I am actually starting with Dukan as I am VERY overweight. Weight on sunday was 12st 7lb and I aim to loose a stone by christmas. i am 5ft 8 so 11 and a half is ok for me and I know I will start to feel better about myself.
Aim to get to 10 st 9 - April time, allowing for a realistic December blip!!

I'm 10 st 13 lbs and 5'3 aiming to get down to 9 st!
I walk to work (20m) and walk the school run 3 times a day (45-1h of walking all together)
Aiming to do half an hour - 45 mins on the kinect every day

For brekfast I had : Bowl of special K & glass of pure orange
Lunch- Chicken salad
Dinner - I'll be at work so will probly have a fruit bag and a water!

I work at Mcdonalds hence the weight gain! You get a free meal allowance Blush Going to start taking my own food in, won't save money but will save my colestrol Grin

Hello can I join too? Im 5' 3" and 9 stone, would like to be 8st 7lb and more toned. I usually eat pretty low carb but do need to remember to keep drinking lots of water. I walk my son to school so thats prob 30mins, and 3 days a week an extra 30mins on top of that.

Today I whipped out my shred dvd, blew the dust off and got on with that. Had to fight the urge to turn it off once the weights and lunges started but felt good once Id finished.

Ive made a chart Blush (any excuse to use stationery) - for 30 days with columns to tick off like shred dvd, sit-ups (20), press ups (10 at the mo, want to build up to that!) and 30 mins walking. Think Im going to have to treat myself (non foody!) once Ive done the 30 days - I got good results from the shred before but didnt make it to the end.... think I saw level 2 a handful of time Grin

Reporting in....

I'm 5'4 and my starting point is 9 st 10lb and aiming to get down to 9 and more toned. I walk to station and back every day (20 mins) and am going to try to do a 20 min walk at lunchtime in the park on non gym days.

Not had the best start today as work was mad and had to attend a meeting which overran into lunchtime so didn't manage my trip to the park but I did manage to drink more water throughout day and not have any lunchtime crisps!

Breakfast - yoghurt & granola
Lunch - cottage cheese salad
Tea - pasta with roasted vegetable sauce

Hi all
can I join am aiming to be less lazy need to loose alot of weight should have done this months ago as due to start ivf this month!
did a 40min walk with dog this am am off to do shred in a min that will be L1 D3 but only doing it alt days or 3 times a week.
Fri weigh in would be good.

Well done everyone for starting today. I had a good day, no snacking and no second helpings, lots of water etc. I just signed up for alot of work so i'm going to be mega busy over the next 3 weeks, good for being too busy to eat, not good for fitting in exercise but i will have to somehow! See you in the morning!

Day two - my food plan is the same as yesterday but with Salmon and stirfry veg for dinner instead. Exercise will depend on whether I send DS to school or not! Have a good day all!

Hi all

I weighed in yesterday morning 10st I think (consequence of alarm at 4am although 4am was a lie in from previous 2 days!)

Was on my feet at work most of the 10 hours.

I drank about a litre of water, too much coffee (4 cups- no sugar just a splash of milk) but needed it! A banana (why do they blacken so quickly in your handbag?) cup a soup with 2 ryvitas. Cereal, no milk. 2 oat biscuits. Pasta for dinner.
Must eat more fruit and veg today.

I did however, go out for a 30 minute run (jog) last night and got through d1l1 shred!

Would like to be just under 9 stone but really want to get toned. Lose my twin belly and my very fat legs and thighs. Have a sunny break later this month and would like to feel I could sit on the beach and feel not so wobbly.....
My more realistic target is the new year........
