Starting on tuesday (Nov 1st) I will be commencing my November boot camp. The rules are:

  1. 30 mins exercise every day
  2. No booze and lots of water
  3. No processed food and lots of fruit and veg

That's it. Easy right? Join me if you want to, i'm aiming to lose at least a stone, (ideally 1.5 stone by middle of Dec) taking me to 10st. I'll be weighing in on Fridays and logging food/exercise diary here to keep on track.

Well done for all that exercise blue Smile

Weigh in for me: 10st12.5 Grin that's 3.5lbs off this week so a total November boot camp loss of 8.5lbs so far! Really pleased - think I will be able to get to 10st7 by the party on the 16th Dec (5.5 lbs in three weeks v. doable no?)

Then i'm going to hope to maintain until after xmas Confused and restart to try and lose the last 10lb or so in January.

So happy I started this Grin

Going to have a rest day from exercise today as i'm really busy all day. Food will be: B: yog, L: melon and parma ham, D: ??? something with prawns maybe?

Have a fabulous day all!

Food changed to 2 slices of toast with almond butter and a chinese takeaway yesterday but I was careful not to go mad so all in all a good day.

Today i'll go for a run and it will be B: Yog L: melon and ham D: not sure - need to shop!!

I also need to wash car/mow lawn this weekend if it stays dry so that should burn some calories Smile

Right, project from hell is over, no more 5am wake-ups and no more 5-hour commutes and NO MORE EXCUSES! Please remind me I said that!

Weighed in yesterday: 12 stone-ish or 75 kgs.

Food: B 3tbs muesli, 0-fat yog L Soup NO BREAD D h/m bolognaise veg
Exercise: Shred

Glass red wine? Making no promises about that...

Have good weekends!

FauxFox · 26/11/2011 11:33

Know what you mean about freelancing Lucky I was mad busy for the first 10 days of Nov but only have one day of work booked in next week...I like the variety but sometimes it seems like it's horrid if you're busy and horrid if you're not! At least I work from home so there is no commute - 5 hours! Yuk!

FauxFox · 27/11/2011 08:30

Well I had wine last night after almost a month on the wagon and I am now a lightweight!! 2 glasses and i'd had enough! Today will be:

OP posts:
FauxFox · 28/11/2011 10:28

OP posts:
LuckyC · 28/11/2011 11:11

Go Faux!

Today: B muesli fatfree yog L soup no bread D spag bol veg instead of spag Shred

FauxFox · 29/11/2011 07:48

Going to squeeze in a run after school drop off but it will be cutting it fine as i've got a mega busy day!

B: Yog/L: Ryvita, ham and cream cheese/D: chilli salmon (had stuffed mushrooms last night instead!)

How's the shred going Lucky?

OP posts:
LuckyC · 29/11/2011 10:20

Shred great actually. It's amazing how exercise makes you feel better about yourself (had forgotten this as not done any since DD - now nearly 2 - was born...)

My issue is it makes me hungry! And it's easier to justify eating more. Had massive dinner last night - inc the pasta I said I would not have. Hav enot nailed the eating yet...

Today: B: Muesli 3tbs / banana / yog / raspberries L: Pitta salad cottage cheese D: grilled chicken and veg

FauxFox · 29/11/2011 19:03

Oh dear...today is not going well! No running as it rained all day and an attack of the munchies...tomorrow is another day!! Blush

OP posts:
FauxFox · 30/11/2011 08:02

Strikes mean no exercise today but I will get back on the wagon food wise as yesterday was shameful Blush

LuckyC · 01/12/2011 09:47

Hey Faux - I also had the Pickle home yesterday.

Food OK IF you add 3 baby biscuits and the crust of her sandwiches and a random bowl of cereal. But did 1.5 hours of hectic yoga.

Erm, so I think I eat quite a lot of DD's food.

Today have already Shredded Grin and food: B fruit / yog L: chicken soup D: pitta and salad

Challenge: NCT AGM and pudding club tonight - everyone is supposed to bring a pudding. I am certainly not cooking one (as that way disaster lies). What do I do, just refuse and say 'on a diet'???? Feels so rude.

LuckyC · 01/12/2011 09:47

PS my first proper weigh-in tomorrow...

LuckyC · 01/12/2011 09:48

PPS Go running today!

(that's meant to be encouraging and not annoying, hope it comes across that way...)

FauxFox · 01/12/2011 16:22

Lol lucky the rain is scuppering my running efforts! I will do a run or DVD tomorrow promise. Not weighing tomorrow as this week has not gone to plan - will resume and weigh next Friday!!

OP posts:
LuckyC · 01/12/2011 23:17

Hi Faux - have been feeling a bit guilty about that message all day so I am so glad you took it as a joke - you have been great and so motivated.

Bugger blimmin pudding night - HA! Meant to say 'Looks delicious! Sadly I am on diet.' Unfortunately, what came out was 'Yes PLEASE I'll have some more!'

BUGGER.

I am going to weigh in tomorrow to scare myself into eating better.

FauxFox · 02/12/2011 10:02

Pudding club sounds divine! I'll admit to eating a warm choc brownie and ice cream last night if that helps...it was a reward for finishing the ironing mountain!

Well I have had 3 days off the diet/exercize wagon but i'm back! i've been for a run in the frosty sunshine this morning and I feel AMAZING!! I LOVE it - i am obviously a weirdo but running (esp up the hill of doom) makes me feel invincible! Am going to have yog/soup/grilled meat with broc and celariac chips and wine Grin

Hope your weigh in was a pleasant surprise lucky and don't feel bad about kicking my (wobbly) arse - I needed it!

OP posts:
LuckyC · 02/12/2011 14:17

Weighed in OK - think I might have lost a pound or so (scales are v inaccurate.) No exercise today - superbusy rush rush.

Yep Faux it's crazy how well exercise works at making me feel good. So you are only slightly a weirdo Wink

B: Muesli / yog / fruit L: Pitta, fat-free cottage cheese, salad D: having the girls round - but one is preggers and one is dairy-free and one is gluten-free so will be a healthy meal. Can't actually find a dairy-gluten-free pudding that does not sound revolting so will make something fruity - so will be healthy meal.

One more week down...

LuckyC · 04/12/2011 09:49

oh faux disaster here - three days of shameful eating and last night I came home after 3 glasses of wine and a big dinner and demolished half a pack of custard creams in proper binge eating style. So I feel all pathetic and failure-y, not to mention hungover and vaguely ill from eating all those biscuits.

So, administering self very wobbly arse kicking today and eating properly.

B fruit L grilled steak and salad D soup. Exercise clutching head and moaning.

LuckyC · 06/12/2011 10:20

Faux? All OK?

B: mues/yog L: soup no bread D: grilled chicken veg

E: walk, as it's sunny

FauxFox · 06/12/2011 10:45

Hi Lucky

I'm coming down with a rotten cold and am up to my neck in xmas now so i think i'll probably run when I feel like it and relax on the food front and enjoy the festivities!! Be back in January though. I'm pretty happy with loosing just over half a stone and getting fit enough to run up hills so i think I can chalk this boot camp up as a success Grin

LuckyC · 06/12/2011 16:50

You have done brilliantly. Buzz me in January when you start. My goal is to get to a size 14 by February 6th, when I go on hols to Africa, so I will be super-motivated in Jan. Happy Christmas!

bluedomino · 07/12/2011 14:55

LuckyC · 08/12/2011 17:35
