Morning Dod'ers!

Here's a nice new shiney list for when the old one is full.

Pull up a squishy chair and feel free to help yourselves to the Sw friendly snacks. Posters from the old room will be moved in shortly Wink.

Morning all - like the new thread title Bee - Thanks for setting up new fred too, means I can post using Playbook instead of cranking up the laptop!

Food today:

B: bran flakes
L: left-over stir-fry with brown rice
D: Whatever MIL cooks
Snacks: shitloads of fruit, a yogurt, gallons of tea and probably a packet of Snack-a-Jacks and square of dark chocolate tonight.

Hope you have a better day at work Ria. We're off to view a house at lunchtime. Still considering the (low) offer on ours.

Pushka am Envy of your plaiting skillz, I got nuffink Sad.

Slinkenstein · 12/10/2011 09:30

Oh, and can I please sit on a Fatboy? I really want one! Will buy everyone a packet of Hi-Fi bars if I can have one? Grin.

grinningzombee · 12/10/2011 09:50

Slinky dear heart, what have you been sniffing??? What on earth is a Fatboy? Er, maybe I'm best not knowing Grin.

Sweet and innocent, me.

Another one who is tired beyond belief. Second night in a row with under 4 hours sleep as DD is poorly - viral induced wheeze. Bless her, she is one cranky baby today. DH is on nights so he has taken her into bed and they are both currently snoozing.

Sorry you had a crap night bee Your DH really needs a thump. Liking the new 'fred title.

Rubbish DOD for me - mega fed up. I am going to do a hedge and write EVRYTHING down. I don't think the lack of exercise is helping.

CSWS its me me me

slinky Well, how was back to work? Enjoy house hunting, where are you looking?

pushka what do you do? Sounds like we might maybe work in a similar area. Loving the plaiting skills, would you like to plait my DD mohawk?

obriagda welcome back. Hang around this time, we ain't that bad.

Food:
B: 2x weetabix (HEB)
L: Tuna and pasta I think
D: ?sheps pie or ?chilli - didn't use the mince lat night as we had pizza Blush

WotsThatLurkingintheHEDGE · 12/10/2011 10:09

Ta Cheese passes a double expresso back Grin. Sorry DD is not well she will perk up in no time, just as she passes the lurgy onto you. I ended up with both my sons in bed with me last night and the older one doesn't half wriggle and nick the duvet, so I am zzzzzzzz this morning Sad, I really think the writing down is helping me to focus, not helping me to loose weight but it will come (I hope so any way)

I too am wondering what a fatboy is Slinky Confused

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/10/2011 10:12

Struggling not to result to biscuits and cake today. Thanks hedge I haven't really stuck to plan so what do I expect. Trying to motivate myself now for a good week ahead.

fatboy

grinningzombee · 12/10/2011 10:47

So sorry for the bad night Cheese. Yes, he does need a thump or something Hmm. He thinks leaving ds to cry until he gives up is the answer (for however many hours it takes), and doesn't see it as cruel.

I bought dh a load of different proper coffees from Whittards for his birthday - anyone fancy a brew? Tis good strong stuff.

The new SW magazine has just landed here. I shall look forward to having a nosey later. It looks as though it has an extra mag in there as well. Think it's one of the calender/recipe thingies that they did before.

That beanbag looks very comfy. Trouble is, I wouldn't get a look in if we had it!

Hedge it will come off again - I would imagine it'd slow down now seeing as you're almost at target Envy Grin.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/10/2011 10:54

Have you tried the no cry baby sleep solution or shush pat or some sort of sleep training? I'm sure you have, I just don't know how you survive!

grinningzombee · 12/10/2011 11:01

I think I'm going to have to look those things up Cheese. It seems to have got worse since we lowered the level of his cot as he could climb out onto our bed! I tried going in every few minutes so he knew I was there, and shush patting, but he wound himself into hysterics Sad.

It's only a phase, and this too shall pass

Survive? Good question. I don't know either.

Hi all Smile

Sorry have been missing in action from thread as RL has been rudely getting in the way of my MNing time.
Will try and find time later to have a peruse back through through old Fred and see what you've all been up to.

Have been just about managing to eat in a SW stylee and have managed a snail's pace weight loss over last couple of weeks. Need to step up a gear for the Stone by Xmas target.
A grumbling gut ache and cramps / general under the weather feeling (viral I presume) over last few days has helped reduce eating tremendously, silver lining and all that.

Might get new mag for some inspiration, does it look any good bee

Will PM you cheese and hope to catch up with everyone properly later.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/10/2011 11:20

Might be worth a look bee. we do controlled crying and 6/7 she sleeps 7-7. Illness / teething etc are a different keytle of fish. But I realise it's not for everyone.

Good to hear from you lake. How's things? I also need to step up a gear.

obrigada · 12/10/2011 11:20

Morning all, just marking my place on the new thread, Day 2 of diet for me today and am determined to give it a proper go this time, starting weight is 12st 3lb!

grinningzombee · 12/10/2011 12:22

Can someone sing me a soothing song please?

(D)h promised me I would have the car back by 1pm so I can do the weekly shop. We have run out of almost everything.

Just phoned to say the car he was returning to a customer has had the brakes catch fire, and is waiting to be recovered Angry. Now I know it isn't his fault, but honestly. I would say I'd go back to bed and start the day again, but I didn't flaming well get to go to bed in the first place!!

I really want to say a rude word.

Ommmmmm Ommmmmm and breath Bee, clam plinky plonk music is playing an the tea lights are burning Ommmmmm Ommmmmm and breath Grin

grinningzombee · 12/10/2011 12:36

Thanks Hedge Smile

It's only 12.30 - what else do you think can go wrong today? Hmm

And I am in no way at all honest guv eyeing up the very last packet of chocolate buttons that are for the dc. Nope. Not even thinking about them...

I won't eat them, but I can feel them calling me Grin

OP posts:
WotsThatLurkingintheHEDGE · 12/10/2011 13:33

Bee I have in my draw a work a uneaten Crunchie I bought the morning I decided to start this diet. It is still unopened since March, it's like my diet talisman Grin think of the buttons in the same way Grin put them on the shelf as an inspiration

Slinkenstein · 12/10/2011 13:35

I have a cunning plan for you bee - text (d)h the shopping list and tell him to do it on his way home. No driving for you means you can hit the bottle! Oh, wait, you're responsible for two very small people. Damnit. Back to the candle-lighting and singing it is then...

grinningzombee · 12/10/2011 14:11

Ooooh, a talisman Crunchie. I like biting the chocolate off first. That's not helpful, is it Wink. We do still have some easter eggs left in the house. I shall give the buttons to the dc to remove temptation totally Grin

Slinky there is no way on this earth that he is doing the shopping instead of me. He would come back with chips and onion rings, meat pies and full fat sausages, burgers and crap stuff. The only "veg" would be a tin of mushy peas.

There is a bottle of Millennium champagne in the kitchen, but I'd probably be shot for opening it. Does that stuff go off?

Ds has been napping in his cot since 11.30. I think I should wake him soon so that he's got time to get tired again.

grinningzombee · 12/10/2011 14:25

Peeps! Please don't pm me the stats, Cheese is doing the list this week.

Cheese I have WWWY's details if she doesn't pm you, so if you need them, let me know.

Slinkenstein · 12/10/2011 14:40

Has dd cheered up any yet cheese? Work was fine yesterday ta, just a couple of hours catching up, then went for a lovely lunch with friends (might explain crap results today!). We're hoping to stay in the same town, just need to upsize. The house we went to see earlier was lovely, but it may be slightly over budget depending on whether the vendors would accept a cheeky offer. Shall I pm you link so you can have a nose and give me your opinion?!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/10/2011 16:26

Nope she is a right misery guts. I have just shoved her in bed with DH and she has fallen asleep. I am supposed to be tidying up! We nipped out earlier and I managed to have a coffee and a white choc brownie.

Will check it out now and let you know what I think.

bee I think you are a saint for avoiding the buttons. And as for you, hedge, 3 stone and still no crunchie..have a sticker!

grinningzombee · 12/10/2011 17:05

Sorry dd is still grumpy Cheese Sad

Slinky I love property porn . I dream of being able to buy a house and love looking on the websites.

Shopping all done. Huzzah. I have been very sneaky and bought in extra ingredients to make and freeze some dinners. Reckon I now have an extra weeks worth. Provided I get some kip tonight, I feel some batch cooking coming on tomorrow.

I have been pm'd a couple of results, so I shall forward them on to you Cheese.
