Morning Dod'ers!

Here's a nice new shiney list for when the old one is full.

Pull up a squishy chair and feel free to help yourselves to the Sw friendly snacks. Posters from the old room will be moved in shortly Wink.

pushka there's a scanbran cake in the post for you.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/10/2011 23:54

5 bananas

Cheeseandbiscuits · 12/10/2011 23:56

Yep extreme broodyness. Are you one of those people who treats their cats better than like their children?

A dog is next on my tick list!

LittlePushka · 13/10/2011 00:10

PS Slinky, forgot to say,...great news about the holiday but be careful in Devon,....they eats their babies there they do Wink

Great results by the way - I reckon that by November there will be a serious number of 10st somethings in class.

Magic!!!

Night night crew -

Pushka - you didn't dream the courgette in cake, but it was me making them rather than hedge. I have a whole fabulous book of cake recipes using veg that I can't recommend highly enough. Can't link on phone but it's called 'red velvet and chocolate heartache', and amazon stock it.

grinningzombee · 13/10/2011 07:38

Right then, let's try again.

Goooooooood morning DoD'ers!

Grin

I was mid-post but dh walked in, so had to disappear quick.

Been up since 5.10, but at least a certain little man slept until then. Well, I assume so, I may have been so tired I slept through any squeaking! I got up and left dh in bed and told him to have some more sleep. Then I told him he should have offered to let me instead Wink. He didn't .

Pushka your posting last night made me Grin. How many bananas is too many? Good question. They are supposedly free, but I was always told to be careful with those and grapes by an old SW consultant. I wouldn't have more than 2 in a day, but that's me.

I won't be in the 10st group by November, but I would like to reach the 11st club sometime during it.

Loving the property porn that was going on too. Shame I went to bed early and missed out.

Oh, and if anyone is wanting to try scanbran, I believe you can get it in Holland and Barrett etc. But think "edible scouring pad".

Right then. Food for the day:

Weetabix and a banana
Cheese triangles on toast, fruit and a yogurt
SW fryup

Got to go - ds is crawling out of his trousers Grin

Cheeseandbiscuits · 13/10/2011 07:51

Ooh csws how Many syns in that?

bee glad you got some kip. DD has decided, that after letting her sleep in with me when she was poorly, that her cot is less preferable to my bed. I persisted until 2 then gave in. It wasn't helped by the students next door comingg home at 1am and banging doors.

Going to have a good day today.
B: 2 weetabix (heb)
L: left over shep pie
D: lamb and spinach curry with rice

Slinkenstein · 13/10/2011 08:17

Morning all, just a quickie as off for a spa day soon.

kid thanks for the explanation on the link thing. I did hint that I was a Dufus who couldn't follow simple instructions and had drank half a bottle of red wine. You'll all be relieved to know I can't seem to do links using the tablet, so future links should be infrequent Grin.

Have a good day all, mine is starting with Weetabix and grapefruit and ending with pasta. No idea what'll be passing my lips in between though (keep it clean).

kid · 13/10/2011 08:23

pushka I do indeed have an iPhone, an old knackered one!
My brand new htc phone is being delivered today though.

Having mn on my phone is a bad idea. It takes me longer to walk to work as I read/type whilst walking Grin

Cheeseandbiscuits · 13/10/2011 09:45

Grin slinky

grimRiaper · 13/10/2011 13:52

bimey what a chatty night. shame I missed out as Midsomer Murders was pants and I fell asleep so I don't even know what happened.

love your round-up pushka. very well done on all the losses Smile

... ... Ria has had a loss this week!!!! But, because I am dim and can't work the Wii properly, I am not sure how much as I notice a big -1lb anywhere on the screen or anything, but it said I had lost weight, my BMI was lower, and the line on the graph was going down. I assume it's 0.5/1lb. (and considering we had wine and Wednesday night pizza takeaway, I'm happy with thatSmile)

food today -
B: hobbit toast
L: chicken salald with half a spice sensations cous cous (is that 1 syn?)

I am making chilli and rice later. Lots of fruit and water and a yogurt will be appearing.

grimRiaper · 13/10/2011 14:04

cheese thank you for your kind offer of a sponser. If you would like to then that would be lovely, but it's quite a casual sort of thing (not in the "Race for Life" category!)...

grimRiaper · 13/10/2011 14:07

those are incredibly tidy houses!

kid · 13/10/2011 15:30

I'm ill but I have to go
To work tomorrow as I'm covering for someone else who is off. How dare they take the first day in over 2 years that I want to take off. Oh well, I suppose I'll make do with having Saturday and Sunday off work.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 13/10/2011 18:35

Is there a just giving page Ria or can I post you some money.

Hope you feel better soon kid.

TOday I have refused a croissant, hob nobs and blueberry muffin. I cannot polish my halo though as I scoffed a brownie yesterday. DD has been the grumps today, all she has done is whine and cry. Sad. Thank god it is DH last night shift.

Right, I had better go check on dinner - I am starving.

Cheeseandbiscuits · 13/10/2011 18:36

Oh, how could I forget. Well done on the loss Ria. Excellent!

Cheeseandbiscuits · 13/10/2011 18:52

Oh and I am also sulking as I don't have a scary name but can't think of one...

Cheeseandbiscuits · 13/10/2011 21:28

Hello? Have I killed the thread [hgrin]

kid · 13/10/2011 21:48

I'm here but I'm busy playing with my new phone. I don't quite understand the data usage or the symbols at the top of the screen. It's a cool phone though Grin

grinningzombee · 13/10/2011 22:29

Get well soon Kid - and enjoy the new phone Wink

Ria Yay for the loss! Well done Smile

Cheese - how about CheeseandBooscuits? Best I can come up with off the top of my head Grin Sorry that dd is still grumpy and unwell. Hope your dh can give you a bit of a break tomorrow.

LakeFlyPie · 13/10/2011 22:30

Fantastic round up Pushka, I feel completely up to date now Grin

PMSL at "the dog's gone over".

I agree about the Nov bootcamp, will see you there Wink

My gut ache has subsided and would have had a reasonable day foodwise, if only it hadn't been for those bloody Jaffa cakes, did manage an hour's pram pushing in the lovely sunshine though.
Will have to fore go syns for a couple of days as penance - no wine for me this weekend.

I also have a small but persistent lodger in my bed in the form of DS2 (10mo) and to make matters worse DS1 (3) has taken to creeping in undetected during the early hours, he even brings his own pillow Hmm "because I like you Mummy".
DP has moved into the spare room as even a king size bed is a bit of a squeeze for 4. Don't think either of us can summon up the energy needed to reclaim our bed ATM although we need to take action before I go back to work in Dec which I'm currently in denial about.

Anyway tomorrow's food:

BF: Cinnamon porridge +banana
L: Cous cous salad
D: Stuffed peppers and spicy tom sauce
Snacks: Yogs, fruit, Options
and NO JAFFA CAKES

Cheeseandbiscuits · 14/10/2011 09:40

Morning all. Blimey, its quiet. Where is everyone? Eating jaffa cakes?

Glad you are feeling better lake. Hope you are enjoying the extra cuddles in bed at night! I have had DD in with me for the last 4 nights, exhausting.

I am not going back to my mums as she is being a PITA. Long story which I am too bloody tired to type. So nice quiet weekend in London instead. I am relieved I don't have to load the car up etc.

Food:
B: Cant be arsed
L: Prob eggs on toast or something
D: Maybe baked salmon with roasted veg.

grimRiaper · 14/10/2011 10:13

morning all. I went to bed early last night so I wasn't tempted by anything. Had DS2 and 3 in bed with me though, so it wasn't exactly restful.

food today -
B: banana before school run, SW fry-up and an orange since we got back
L: chicken salad and the other half of the couscous from yesterday
T: panhagarty with low fat sausages, sprouts, carrots and swede.

  • yogurt, grapes and apple.

we don't have anything as elaborate as a justgiving page cheese! I can PM you my address? (when we have finally done the walk that is! How can they sat there will be no rain nest Weds? It was a lovely day for it yesterday, wish they'd held off cancelling)
