Hi all, been AWOL again and can't catch up.

Hope you are all doing well. I have been very rubbish again after my good loss 2 weeks ago. Was trying to get back on track this week but have had six small fluffy new additions to family on Sunday, our 5 year old cat has rather unexpectedly produced a litter of kittens !

Am fumbling through life in a sleep deprived blur worried about kitten weights and tracking has gone out the window plus am away first two weeks of August. Guess I'll just have to sort it all out when I get back.

bubblez · 19/07/2011 18:17

Can I join please???
Started WW online about 7week and have lost 7lb but can feel that I am starting to lose my way a bit...not stuck to it for the last 3 weeks and have not lost a lb :(
Would be nice to be kept motivated.

wizzler · 19/07/2011 19:51

Willabywallaby · 19/07/2011 20:13

Well done wizzler!!!

vnmum · 19/07/2011 21:02

super well done wizzler you must feel fab.

welcome bubblez I am sure we will motivate you, we are a very successful thread with many people at goal

Littlefish · 19/07/2011 21:12

Sorry I haven't posted at all this week - things have just been ridiculously busy.

Anyway, I'm pleased to report a half pound loss. I haven't eaten very well this week, so half a pound is good as far as I'm concerned.

I'm proud to say that this week I have finally got off my arse and started using the gym that I've been paying for for over a year. I've been three times this week and have surprised myself by really enjoying it.

Littlefish · 19/07/2011 21:13

Forgot to say ...

Huge congratulations to Wizzler on getting to goal. What a wonderful achievement.

spudulika · 19/07/2011 22:01

My day today: to bed last night at 1am and up at 6am. My three kids plus my friend's three at my place at 7.30 am. Two dc's with s/n, one just a pain in the arse.

Home after school run, still got friend's 12 month old.

Shopping, cleaning. Back to school to pick up my dc's.

Drive to mad piano teacher's house. Lesson for dc1, while me, baby, dc2 and dc3 walk around the block.
Back to teachers for dc1, more lurking while dc2 has lesson.
Back home.
Back out 15 minutes later to pick up another friend's dc then on to cubs.
Back to school to pick up first friend's older two
Back to friend's house. Leave her with her kids.
Then back to do scouts pick up.
All this time DC3 (who has ASD) playing silly arses on the back seat and starting fights with everyone.

Back home. DD1 in a state of high dudgeon. Screaming, shouting, locking herself in bedroom. DS2 gone completely hyper. DS1 following me round the house offering to massage my shoulders to help me stay calm.

And I've still managed to stick to my 29 points today, so bloody hurrah for me!

Stress eating and tiredness eating has been a huge issue over the past few months so I'm really impressed with myself for getting through today with no maverick scoffing.

You can pat me on the back too if you like? I won't mind. Wink

Fairenuff · 19/07/2011 22:07

Wow what a day!

Well done you

Did you have time to eat at all? Smile

spudulika · 19/07/2011 22:44

Oh yes! always have time to eat Grin

Interestingly I'm not getting me normal low blood sugar moments, despite eating so much less than usual. Going hours on a couple of pieces of fruit. Big change of body chemistry I suppose.

spudulika · 19/07/2011 22:46

my

I don't sound like Barbara Windsor in RL. Honest guv!

Kewcumber · 19/07/2011 22:54

Can I join?

Have lost quite a bit of weight already but haven't lost anything for 6 months and need a kick start again so I have decided to try something organised and am going to give WW a go and join in the morning. Not sure if it will be right for me but plan to aim for a stone to start with at a nice slow 1lb per week, then if that works another stone after that (just as slowly).

Haven;t been well so lack of exercise is partly why I;m not losing but also becasue I have stopped eating so much and instead started eating crap (how much choclate and crisps can one woman live on before malnutrition kicks in? [hmm})

wizzler · 19/07/2011 22:56

Littlefish.. well done you for going to the gym, and the loss!
Spud.. hopefully you are now getting some sleep and wont read this until the morning!
Bubbles.. If I read you correctly, you have lost 7 lb in 7 weeks but for the last 3 sts, so you lost 7lb in 4 weeks that is fantastic! ... keep at it... If you follow the rules you will slowly but surely lose the weight... Len Goodman (hmm) was watching the Open golf at the weekend and was on the telly, he quoted " If it is to be, it is up to me"... which I thought v. wise and applicable to us!

Whitershadeofpale · 20/07/2011 09:40

Well done wizzler.

Littlefish · 20/07/2011 11:42
Kewcumber · 20/07/2011 12:18

Joined this morning - 12lbs is my first target which seems about right to me.

Must say that my statistics A levels may come in handy... does the points thing get a bit easier with familiarity? Confused

Off to a very old freinds wedding on Friday and away for two days (its down in Wales) so not a great week to start!

Kewcumber · 20/07/2011 12:20

I was doing quite a lot of wii fit at home which was working but with my low iron had really all but given it up. Aim is to work it back in now as have mainlined iron in hospital last week (literally!) so should be feeling more chipper soon

Korma - That's fantastic. Well done. You'll soon be a shadow of your former self!

Kew - yes, the pro point counting does get easier. Are you paying by monthly pass? If so, consider doing your tracking online via e-source. Alternatively, I think there is an app for iPhones if you've got one of those.

Collision · 20/07/2011 19:28

1 lb off!

25.5 lbs total!

Am drinking a beer and eating choc now and getting back on tomorrow! Grin

Kewcumber · 20/07/2011 20:02

OOh yes just found the e-source thing (am indeed paying by monhtly pass) that pretty good isn;t it.

25.5lb is impressive [wistful emoticon]. Have quite got out of the habit of watching what I eat - its a bit of a shock when you see it allwritten down isn;t it Shock

Scones in M&S will have to go (at least on a daily basis!)
