1lb off this week. What I'm finding is that it's taking a while to shift the bum and tum inches. I seem to be in the same size clothes. I suppose they fit better now and there are fewer lumps Blush It is slow and I have had a couple of falls from grace (spring rolls impulse buy Hmm and would someone please make flapjack a controlled substance??!! Grin)

Well done to everyone who has lost and thanks for the tip herding (love your name btw)

MrsWajs · 08/10/2011 21:50

Not sure if this is what you meant crumble but if you go 5lbs below what you've set as your goal weight do you then have to start paying again?? My leader has never told me I could technically be a gold member now, presumably because she's happy taking £6 a week off me!

crumbletastic · 09/10/2011 11:38

Yes, that's what I meant but really didn't word it well. My typing fingers don't work as well without cake :)

On the back of the personal record it is worded as Meetings are now free as long as you ....stay with 5lbs of your goal weight. I took that as meaning that if I went more than 5lb below goal would have to pay again? I want to be sure this isn't the case before I set my new goal

herdingcats · 09/10/2011 15:13

I'm already 8lb below my top line goal. I do not pay . You just have to not go 5lb over it Smile

HattiFattner · 10/10/2011 15:01

woohoo, lost 2lbs this week. AMazingly as I had a shit 2 weeks (did not WI last week) after having ds1 and ds2 in hospital - and me in for an op too!

MrsWajs · 11/10/2011 23:28

Another 1lb off tonight and have informed my leader that's me at my goal weight - hurray!!

DrMunkenstein · 12/10/2011 19:24

Good evening ladies, I hope you don't mind me jumping in and posting but I am considering joining weight watchers online.

I was wondering if any of you do this rather than go to the meetings and if you would recommend it? Due to DH working away getting to meetings will not be possible.

I have done weight watchers before, but need to start again due to having DD.

Thanks in advance.

herdingcats · 12/10/2011 21:02

Well done Hatti and MrsW. Smile
Been to weigh and I'm gobsmacked, trying to maintain and have somehow managed to lose 5lb Shock Now I'm a bit concerned I cannot do the maintainence bit. I am now lighter than I was at 16 Confused
Anybody any tips, pleaseGrin

Littlefish · 12/10/2011 21:39

Eat more, herdingcats Grin

Sorry - that was facaetious (sp!).

Could you post a day's food here with pro points values so we can have a look. How many points are you on now that you're maintaining? Are you managing to eat that number of points every day?

bucksmum · 13/10/2011 10:55

Weigh in this morning and lost 4 llbs so thats 11 in 2 weeks :)

herdingcats · 13/10/2011 13:50

Littlefish- I am eating on average, according to E-source 35+ points a day. They tell you 35 is the maintainence amountConfused
Going on holiday on Saturday for 2 weeks, now hoping that sorts me out.
Also don't normally keep weighing myself at home, but weighed myself first thing this morning and I was 3 lbs heavier than she weighed me as. I think I will just forget about it ,enjoy myself whilst away with no tracking. Then deal with it all afterwards.

mistlethrush · 13/10/2011 13:55
Blush

Been going along to WI. Haven't lost much since I've been missing though... Haven't put on either though. However, want to get another stone off for Christmas - do you mind me sneaking back in and sitting at the back?

Cluckingmad · 13/10/2011 18:25

Hi, I joined WW online today Smile. I have never done WW before and have a good couple of stones to lose! I will go along to my first meeting next week so I am just trying to get my head round counting all my points, seems fairly simple tho.
I'm off to do my shopping in a bit and wondering if any of you buy any low point treats? I love all things sweet and know if I try to go without I will fail. Plus if I have something sweet to look forward to at the end of the day I hope this will keep me on track Hmm

benbon · 13/10/2011 20:26

ive been bunking off for a few weeks, but am getting back on it!! half a pound off today!! Smile

Littlefish · 13/10/2011 20:29

Herdingcats - have a great holiday. Relax and just enjoy yourself!

Cluckingmad - the only low point treats I have are the barbeque weight watchers crisps. I can't eat very much with aspartame/sorbitol in it which rules out all the weight watchers sweets and bars. My sweet snack is pineapple, or a couple of squares of dark chocolate. Apparently the small curly wurlys are only 2 points though if you are really craving chocolate.

I've just got back from weighing in, and to my delight, I've lost another 2.5lbs. That means I got my 9th silver 7 for losing a total of 4.5 stone (63lbs).

I'm feeling very, very pleased with myself Grin.

In fact, I'm so pleased with myself that I'm going to have pizza to celebrate. Grin Grin Grin

crumbletastic · 13/10/2011 20:56

I've also got a mega sweet tooth clucking my must of an evening is options belgian choc hot choc (mint one is quite nice too) but I double the suggested portion size so use 22g for 2 points, which is a lovely chocolate hit and keeps my sweet tooth satisfied

Furball · 13/10/2011 20:59

WOW! - WOW! - WOW! - littlefish - you really rock Smile

crumbletastic · 13/10/2011 21:10

Littlefish · 14/10/2011 18:06

You know what ladies. Pizza really isn't as nice as I remember it being. I'll have to think of something better next time! Grin

Furball · 14/10/2011 21:00

Totally agree littlefish

  • although can recommend the WW red onion and goats cheese it's tasty and not greasy
Littlefish · 15/10/2011 12:43

Really looking forward to seeing you later Furball. Smile

Furball · 15/10/2011 13:25

Me too!

I think you should change your name to littlerfish Grin

Scavo · 15/10/2011 14:47

Hi everyone!! Can i join?? re-joined ww on 7th sept.. am a gold member since 2005, tho once i reached goal i took my foot off the peddle and weighed in few weeks ago 23lbs heavier [hblush]
but have so far shifted 11 lbs. new pp took getting used to, but overall am liking the new plan.. now have 12 lbs to lose to get back to goal, and plan is i achieve this by christmas!!

harverina · 15/10/2011 23:02

Hi everyone,

I hope that you don't mind me joining. I started propoints 8 weeks ago and have lost 15lbs. I have a long way to go...4 stones to go! However, I am setting myself small goals - my first (not so small) goal is to lose 2 stones by my 30th birthday mid January...so I have 13 lbs to go to reach that goal!

Ive had a quick look through some of the thread...littlefish, your weight loss is fantastic, huge congratulations. I cannot even begin to imagine how much better I will feel when I reach that level of weight loss...I cannot remember even feeling thin :( but I am so determined this time. My willpower has been great...however, this past 10 days have been a struggle for me. I have been eating crap which means much less food for my points. But generally I have been sticking to my points as much as possible. When I have a night out and don't know how to count, I generally just allocate all my weekly 49 points, not sure if this is what other people do?

Anyway I am rambling! Sorry!

I am going to a local meeting on a Wednesday which I love. I did ww a few (5?!) years ago and lost over 3 stone but regained it all over the years. I have an 18 month old baby...I didnt gain alot of weight while pregnant which surprised me and lost all my baby weight really fast...however, I ate soooo much rubbish while exclusivley breastfeeding and kept eating crap when my DD started solids at 6 months so the weight went on then :(

Will try and read a bit more of the thread.

harverina · 15/10/2011 23:07

cluckingmad, just noticed your post and wanted to reply. I have done ww and lots of other diets before but this time my attitude to it has toally changed. Previously I lived on ww products, ww cakes/treats and ww meals. This time I am trying to eat as normal as possible with my family and it leaves me feeling less deprived. I eat chocolate every day which i know isnt great but I always keep enough pro points for a crunchie which is 5 points. This way I feel totally satisfied and dont feel like I am missing out. Crunchie snack sie are 2 points each too.
