So jump on in and post away - we are having a summer challenge to keep us on track.

Just to add to last post, went to meeting at lunch and lost another 3 lbs, so that is 8lbs altogether in 2 weeks. Rather chuffed with little old me (ok, big old me). I bought a bag of mini moments at the meeting and have just had one, very akin to a milky way. Treats!

TartyMcFarty · 06/09/2011 13:13

Brilliant, well done rushingrachel! Enjoy your treat Smile

benbon · 06/09/2011 16:14

Littlefish · 06/09/2011 18:41

God Benbon, you really are lovely! Thank you so much for posting the photos. It really helps to keep me motivated, to know that I might look that good one day.

benbon · 06/09/2011 18:53

thankyou littlefish... even better is after 2 years of being single i also have a new amazing man!!! still early days but i really like him! suddenly my life seems to be coming together yay

androbbob · 06/09/2011 20:27

benbon - I too love your piccies - you remind me of myself currently in your top photo as in size of body as I do not have your good looks! It is inspiring to see real life sucesses rather than the usual ones in the magazines which have been touched up.

I had a fairly good day today - was planning on getting a choccie bar on way to pick up DD from after school choir practice (pointed into day) but a friend called round and I had to rush - so she saved me 6 PP! I also went to a bodypump class tonight and I am struggling to lift my arms and my sides hurt now! Will be in severe pain tomorrow.

There is a programme on Sky Living tomorrow about Claire from Steps and her weightloss battle - should be good viewing if you like that sort of thing.

Keep up the good work ladies - we will be significantly smaller by Christmas.

Benbon - Hoooooray for your new man. What great news.

Good news from me too - I've just got back from weighing in, and I've lost 2lbs.

Looking back over the summer, it's taken me 2 weeks to lose what it took 3 months over the summer (4.5lbs)!

I don't care how long it takes - I'm just loving being slimmer. I've just worked out that I'm approaching the weight I was when I got married, 10 years ago. Smile

benbon · 06/09/2011 21:41

u guys are making me blush... was hard finding before pics as i used to delete them all as looked so awful!!! i quite enjoy having pics done now as more often then not they turn out ok Smile

rushingrachel · 07/09/2011 08:31

Wow Benbon, it's wonderful to see people being successful and you look absolutely fab and as the others have said VERY pretty ... thanks for sharing your pictures ... it's a real inspiration seeing people who have got to goal and helps me remember that even though I've just started I just have to keep going.

clarabella18 · 07/09/2011 13:24

Well just back from first weigh in and I've lost 5lbs!!!
I know slot of that is water retention etc and it's not going to be that every week but it's a great start and has given me a real boostGrin

Another bonus is that I've just found out that my local poundland sells tins of WW stuff. Bagels, tortillas, crisps, cakes jam etc. Grin

HeyH0 · 07/09/2011 15:17

Twit-woo. Benbon, you're looking fab. Well done! :D I know what you mean about avoiding the camera, ironically I'm now regretting not taking a photo before starting to lose weight. The tape measure tells me there's a significant difference, but photographic evidence would be motivating. (Shocking & unpleasant to look at, but motivating).

Littlefish It sounds like you're back in the weight-loss groove. :)

Confession time; I've totally ditched WW/PP & reverted to calorie counting. Blush I'm eating more & It's giving me nice predictable losses, which appeals to my anal inner scientist, so all is good. Wink

MrsWajs · 07/09/2011 15:26

Wow benbon just looked at your pics too, you look amazing now!! You look so much different in the face than when you were bigger! That sounds a bit odd but is meant in a good way!

Got weighed on Tuesday, 2.5lbs ON!!! Bleugh. But then I guess a meal out, 3 bottles of wine and a hangover induced McDonalds AND chinese take away will do that to you!!! No more splurging til Christmas, I can't be trusted to do it in moderation!!

androbbob · 07/09/2011 20:39

littlefish - thats the attitude lovely lady! All you need to do is bottle it and post it to me please - first class!! I have my eye on a new pair of work trousers and I am getting them in a size 14. Needs to be this side of Christmas please - I reckon a stone will do it.

benbon - take those complements - you deserve them Grin

rushingrachael - stick with us on this thread - we will all get there honest!

HeyHO - if it works for you then calorie counting it is - stick with us and report your losses!

Clarabella - well done there!

Mrs Wajs - at least you went to WI - easy to miss when you know you have gained - big gold star to you! You will lose that this week I am sure with a bit of determination.

Fella on the radio said today that it was 108 days to christmas - eek!

Hi all Smile
Benbon you look fab, I have not put photos on yet as I need to find some. I hate being photographed ,so it will be no mean feat!
WI this wek gained 0.5lb ,not worrying too much as tomorrow is another day.
My best friend told me today I was now too skinny and she was worried I was taking things too far. I am a full 2stones over the bottom weight for my BMI range. Feel she has a touch of the green eyed monster going on, as she was on WW and packed it in.Will just ignore it and lose the last few pounds that will make me happy, and not tell her anything about it. I feel as if I sound awful saying that ,but at the end of the day I want to make myself feel satisfied not her.

Littlefish · 07/09/2011 21:05

androbbob - that's a great target! Perhaps the next target for each of us could be something not weight related (if you see what I mean).

E.g. - I want to be a size 16 by 3rd December so I can have a new dress for my next concert. My last concert dress was a size 20 (in April), but I can't really justify getting a new one for only one dress size difference. Two dress sizes, now that's a different matter....

What do you think everyone? Can you all think of a target which isn't a weight loss amount?

Littlefish · 07/09/2011 21:06

herdingcats - I agree - ignore your friend. She is simply trying to sabotage your progress, to make herself feel better.

JennyPiccolo · 07/09/2011 22:05

WI tomorrow. I dont think ive had a great week, so we'll see.

Blondeshavemorefun · 07/09/2011 23:48

sorry ladies - been awol - struggling in the rw at the moment :(

i was on the 'at goal' list but have really fucked up recently

gained weight on holiday and just cant shift it - im gaining slowly even now im home and now weigh more then i like :(

i just cant get my brain back round ww since dh died :(

everyone says you lose weight on the d (death/divorce) diet but thats bollocks - im gaining

well done everyone else for your loss's and welcome newbies

Furball · 08/09/2011 08:27

littlefish - glad you're back - brilliant news.

Now.......how about - buy the 16 dress Shock and...........hang it on your fridge wardrobe door, so you look at it every day, so it isn't forgotten.

Every 2 weeks try it on and see the zip do up just a little bit more.

also - if I can make it - I would love to come to your concert Smile

wizzler · 08/09/2011 08:53

Morning all !
Herding, I am with you.. I archived all the ( very few) photos I have of me before I started to lose weight. I found if I was behind the camera there was less chance of me being on the photo Smile. I am now inspired by Benbon ( you look fab by the way!) and will dig some out for my profile. Also think that if WW promised all of us a new man when you get to goal a whole lot of us would be more motivated Grin

I have lost 3lbs since my last WI ( about 3 weeks ago) and am now less then when I hit goal .. I think the only difference is that I have taken time of work and am rushing about the house, blitzing all the mess now the kids are at school. My WW leader says don't decorate the stairs.. ie dont leave stuff at the bottom ready to be taken up the next time you go up.. take it now. I have been trying to do that and it seems to have paid off.

Blondes.. Sad . I am sorry you feel so down. Don't beat yourself up about your gain.. you have had so many other things to think about. In normal circs I would say something bright and breezy to encourage you, but to be honest in the circs it seems a bit trite, so will just say "chin up"..

JennyPiccolo · 08/09/2011 11:05

Blondes, im so sorry for your loss. Weight watchers will still be there when you feel up to it. It's just a few pounds in grand scheme of things. X

huffythethreadslayer · 08/09/2011 19:02

Just started. Sorry I haven't read the thread, but am desparate for some advice. How many points are there in a Skinny Cow Double Choc icelolly. Is it really 5 points? I've just bought a freezer load and realised that they could quite easily screw up my points!!!! AAAAAGGHHH.

Of course, I could just not eat em!
