Littlefish.. hurrah, hurrah hurrah! Well done you.
Androbob.. consider yourself bossed! Back on the wagon with you, and be quick about it! Hope for your sake that Blondes doesnt hear about your lapse!
Vajazzler .. congratulations.. that is a fantastic achievement

Furball · 01/09/2011 07:04

Hoorary Littlefish I was wondering where you'd got to with your news

I hope this FANTASTIC achievement reinvigorates you. Well done! Smile

Vajazzler · 01/09/2011 07:45

Well done Littlefish! Keep up the good workGrin

benbon · 01/09/2011 08:58

weigh in this morning... pretty positive i may have got to goal have 1.5lbs to lose so positive thinking please!!!

Littlefish · 01/09/2011 09:51

Come on benbon, you can do it! However, you have to promise to post before and after photos to keep the rest of us motivated.

When I get to goal (in 2 years time!), I suspect that mumsnet will crash under the strain of me uploading all my photos!

crumbletastic · 01/09/2011 10:11

to the people who have been doing ww for a littles while - when can I expect my weight loss to slow? I've now lost 14.5lb in 3 weeks and got lots of congrats etc from the weigh-in ladies but obviously this a lot more than they recommend losing a week whilst bf. I didn't have time to stay to the meeting this week to chat to the leader, and I have to go to a different meeting next week due to a family event so starting to worry a bit about losing too much in this time and it affecting my breast milk. I am eating all my daily pp (and extra bf ones) as well as at least 40 of my weeklies but thinking I might need to eat some extra dailies?

Vajazzler · 01/09/2011 12:44

Crumbletastic My leader said that much of the first months weight loss is your body releasing any retained water it was storing so maybe this is what's happening to you?

androbbob · 01/09/2011 13:03

Well done littlefish - do you get a certificate and sticker for that?!! Grin I will still be here in 2 years waiting to see our piccies! I am sure with a 4 stone loss there is a big change already.

Wizzler - am back on the wagon but suffered yesterday today with a stomach bug! Felt off yesterday and had cramps and then a need to plant bum on toilet. Felt cold and shakey so had no tea and went to bed early. Felt ok today so have eaten lightly to ensure it goes! Had porridge, yoghurt, pear and half tin of ravioli so far and planning a pork steak with mediterranean veg for tea.

Hello to everyone else - hope all managing ok. Normal service will resume next wek when kids back at school!

Hi can I join too. I've seriously fallen of the WW wagon and I need some inspiration to get back on. I've lost 1/2 a stone and stopped which is why I gave up. Will start tracking again in earnest. Don't want to be a blob no more!

JennyPiccolo · 01/09/2011 13:42

Well done littlefish! Think you really needed a little boost.

Crumble- i am mostly the same, ive lost 2 stone in 2 and a half months, ive not been super strict or anything. My dd is 10 months so i figured i might just be at a stage wherenmy body is naturally shedding baby weight, and it's just responded well to the diet. This is my theory anyway, im not bfing.

benbon · 01/09/2011 14:43

well lost 2.5lbs taking me to a 1lb under goall!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!! so chuffed me and my friends had a little cry and jump about and group hug!! lol think some of the others thought we were mad!!!! will happily do before and afters but unsure how.??? still want to lose another 9lb to take me to 10st but in no rush for that..

benbon · 01/09/2011 14:45

Rubyx · 01/09/2011 14:52

Is this still ongoing.. i am going to start WW next week

Littlefish · 01/09/2011 15:55

Wow Benbon, that's fantastic. You will need to upload photos to your mumsnet profile, or onto flicker if you want to show them to us

Littlefish · 01/09/2011 15:56

Sorry -forgot to say, welcome Rubyx. Yes, this is definitely an on-going thread. It's been a bit quiet over the holidays, but I expect that it will get pretty lively again now that most of us are back on the wagon again!

MrsWajs · 01/09/2011 16:24

Congrats benbon and littlefish I also (miraculously) lost 2.5lb on Tuesday so super chuffed with that, 10lbs off altogether now. Don't have a goal I don't think, do you decide it or does your leader, I'm past my 5% now so guess I'm heading for 10%??

herdingcats · 01/09/2011 20:30

Well done ,with all the fab losses and gettiing to -4st /goal Grin benbon and littlefish.
I went to WI last night and have lost 2.5lb this week too. It seems to be the done thing to lose that much this week. I am now goal -2.5, but my personal goal is still a not settled in my head really. I'm afraid of looking scrawny ,but still think I look big atm. Hmm That sounds so silly, but can't think of a better way to say it. also worried when I go into hospital 19th I will not be able to control my weight very well and go backwards very rapidly.
Oh well if I can lose a few more pounds before the op I have more of a buffer zone.

androbbob · 01/09/2011 20:38

benbon - yeah well done you! You know need to remind us of your story to goal to keep us motivated!

herding - hope all goes well for your op.

TartyMcFarty · 02/09/2011 08:49

Hi folks, I'm having to do a quick post and run, but wondered if you'd let this slacker back in - still holding on to my Christmas weight Blush

Can anyone recommend an Android tracking app please? Got to go, will check-in properly later.

benbon · 02/09/2011 09:04

well i started ww at the end of jan at a whopping 14st13 at only 5"5.5 was way to big and im only 27 but was blaming my 2 skiddies for my weight gain lol! (in fact was prob down to marriage break up)saw a photo and thought omg i dont look like that do i.. so joined with my friends and its the best thing i ever did.. i know i look the best i have in years and i know my ex husband knows it lol!!!

had a few hard weeks at first but ive never given up anything if i go on a night out i eat what i want and drink what i want! since i started i have managed to only have 2 s/s and 1 gain so ive been very impressed. im now down to 10st 9 lbs but will hopefully lose another 9lbs. with a total loss of 4st 4lbs

i will attempt some before and after pics Smile

Whitershadeofpale · 02/09/2011 12:16

rushingrachel · 02/09/2011 12:40

Went for my first weigh in on Tuesday and had lost 5 lbs. A mighty long way to go but guess that is a good start.
