Hello everyone! Am I ok to join? I joined WW last week and my first WI is on Tuesday, I did WW before and lost 1 stone out of 3 to lose, so now I've got 2 to get rid of.

I'm not really sure what to do with my weeklies, I haven't used any this week. I've actually found it quite hard to eat 29 points a day, I'm averaging on 26. I think I've been filling myself up on fruit and I feel stuffed after my meals, but next week I'm going to try harder to use all 29.

I'm hoping for a good loss on tuesday!

First WW meeting on Monday (tomorrow). Bit nervous. I'm going with my Gran (she's 76). We both weigh the same (12st 6lb). Sad

What can we expect from the first meeting?

Hi everyone, just back from a weekend in LutonHmm supposedly looking after one of DH relatives. Talk about going off plan, I had 2 days where there was hardly any food and then on the third we went out to a place where 1 course was more than a days PP. Don't know how tht will affect WI this week. I missed last week as well because I was travelling down there. fingers crossed I am still at goal or just below.

I've got my first WI tomorrow, I think I'm going to STS too according to my scales, I feel so disappointed.

dont worry, it changes so much from day to day, i can change by about 5 pounds in 24 hours.

The important thing is to keep tracking and keep at it. It will come off eventually. Such a rubbish feeling though!

Hopefully I can scrape a pound off by tomorrow and then it can be a loss. Everyone else loses loads in their first week!
I know if I stick to it at some point it will start to come off, it's hard when the other people have great results, one lady ahs lost 13lb in 3 weeks!

im doin WW lost 20lbs so far

I gained last week (ilb) and this week lost llb 1/2

Also this whole thing about eating all your points I quite try to have some left over is this bad??

Heiffer- you are supposed to at least eat your PP allowance ,or your body can think its being starved and therefore slow your metabolism down. This would help prevent weight loss. IYSWIMSmile
Weekly extra allowance its up to you. I keep mine for special events, some weeks use none and others use some or all of them .

Yippee, I lost another 1/2 pound, which is pretty spectacular as have been on hols and have not stopped eating cake and drinking wine for a week.... Blush but on the plus side, I have walked miles and miles every day, as we were camping in the peak district. Also, I was frikking freezing most of the time, so must have burned a few calories just keeping warm!!

Total lost to date: 1st 3lb. I think things will start to take off again after kids are back at school.

Weighed myself this morning to see if the STS on friday was water weight or not, and i've lost 2lbs! That's me lost 2 stones altogether!

Bugger - stayed the same this week.

I've really hit a plateau. Since the beginning of June, I've only lost 3 lbs. Sad

I need to start tracking more carefully and drink lots more water.

For the next week, I'm going to try and stick to my daily points only, and not touch my weeklies at all.

weigh in tomorrow morning for me... need to lose 2.5lbs to get to goal! not too hopeful though got it set that i will get there next thurs which also happens to be my birthday so would be nice to do it that as that was my deadline, been 8mths of hard dieting so far!!

Littlefish, I know it is incredibly fustrating but hang in there. I'm about half a stone heavier than in June if that is a tiny consolation. I need to really apply myself , well as best I can during school holidays. Maybe we should try to report in everyday next week in here. Or maybe start a food diary thread for a week where we post up exactly what passes our lips everyday. I can't believe how badly I have lost the plot this summer and it is a stark warning that I will have to keep going to WW regularly when at target or am in danger of it gradually creeping on again, which I have sworn won't happen.
