obrigada Mushy Pea and Bean curry
1 x tin mushy peas
1 x baked beans
1 x onion diced
mushrooms
chicken/quorn (optional)
water/stock
curry powder to taste

Dry fry onion and chicken(if using) or use a little fry light add all other ingredients and simmer for 30 mins serve with rice. Works really well with a slow cooker aswell

Just done a massive healthy shop online ready for the weekend. PLanning on doing those chilli chicken thighs that grinning recommended, a SW curry night (with samosas etc for those not on a diet) and beef casserole another night. Hopefully, I'll be good! it is a huge effort but can hopefully rope DH and my sisters into helping cook!

kid enjoy exercise class, you'll feel gret after (and shattered). Pilates was good today! Helping my poor pelvic floors!

b: poached egg on toast (heb)
l: jacket potato, tuna, salad
d: sweet chilli chicken (2.5syns) new pots, salad
snacks: fruit fruit fruit
will tale dd swimming but no exercise planned as got classes the following 4 days!
Off to heathrow to collect my dad!

Todays food:
Weetabix and fruit
Cheese sandwich and more fruit
A cottage pie type affair made with quorn mince, syns for the gravy

We're hopefully off out today to a farm with dd and ds, so I will have to take a sarnie to save being bad. Fingers crosses that the weather stays dry!

I'm just in a bad mood. And trying to stick to plan a bit better than I have been, but not quite managing it.

Today so far: Breakfast: moosli with grated apple & yogurt. Lunch: lentil, swiss chard & tomato stew thing. Dinner: chinese takeaway. Will try and order sensibly but I know there will be crispy duck.

Busy here, but sticking to plan like a leech, a leech I tell you. Smallish portions, lots of proper food and no snacking!

DH's birthday today but am making him a fruit cake as per his request. None for me as I don't like fruit cake, which is a blessing!

Waiting for MIL to arrive for coffee now, and then I will rush around doing errands while she and DD entertain each other

Pony chin up there is another 2 continents to go yet. If a jobs worth doing etc

OK round here today, had to cancel all engagements due to a small boy who crawled into bed with us last night burning up. Liberal doses of telly and cuddles seem to be doing the trick. Still not right myself, so a day of rest is probably a good thing. And the best part --> no appetite! Wink

I survived my exercise class last night and have booked up for Saturday, Wednesday and Thursday for my next sessions.

I finish work early on Fridays, but foodwise, I wish I had stayed there! I've had 1/2 cheese and pickle sandwich and a chocolate bourbon biscuit. Think I'll stop snacking now as it will be hard to stop if I carry on.
We always have a takeaway on Friday nights, whats my safest option? I only used 7 syns yesterday so I'm assuming I can use the rest today?
I knew I should have meal planned properly for this week!

A lovely, lovely lady at work can see I've lost weight, even on my arms! I'm not convinced but it was lovely to hear anyway lol

I'm still sniggering at 2 continents alpine. Tryand piss them off further on Monday! Hi 5 for not eating though, I'd have turned to biscuits...

Kid -congrats on all the exercise! I've really started to get into exercise, I'm enjoying it more than I thought. I've got pilates tomorrow, zumba Sunday, pilates mon and gym / swim Tuesday. Then it's take that weds, I'm very excited!! Am hoping all the screaming and dancing like a teenager will burn some calories to earn a glass of wine!

prepared a sw friendly Bbq with sweet chilli chicken and homemade burgers. Family seem impressed. Hope it tastes ok! Brother told me I def look like I've lost weight

Will do Cheese. I'm more of a Duran Duran girl myself, but enjoy TT. And if your brother said you've lost weight, then it must be true as men don't normally comment on that, or notice much.

Fruit cake is rubbish.

Just lack of sleep making me grumpy cheese, if this is a growth spurt I would quite like it to be over. And if it's the 4 month sleep regression I would quite like there to be more gin. Grin

Never to mind, onwards and upwards and all that. So I was fairly restrained on the chinese takeaway, but I seem to have just accidentally inhaled all the prawn crackers. Oh well.

Exercise wise, they have marked out a mile long loop in my local park, so I have taken to walking round it, nice to have some sense of how far I am walking in my daily constitutionals.

My plan to go gym tomorrow has been shattered as I have no-one to look after DC. Oh well, I guess I'll get over it. Wonder if I'll be able to go at all this week?
How old do they have to be until I can leave them home alone?

They certainly aren't low in syns from what I can work out. And I had carrots & celery sticks all ready to go in the fridge as well. Epic fail. Will do big walks over the weekend and eat those vegetables to pull myself back.

My exercise today is pilates and hopefully a walk this afternoon. Food:
b: fruit and yog
l: out so will try and find something diet friendly
d: sw beef madras, rice and chana masala
snacks: fruit

B. shredded wheat + fruity ryvita (Heb), melon + ff Greek yog and honey (1 syn for honey)
L. friend coming over so rice salad and possibly a tortilla
D. out for dinner so I don't care it's flexible syn night and I will be having wine

Ooo and I made the Lamb summer stew thing from the current magazine last night and it was dead yummy

I'm not having a good morning. I'm being a right grump! lol

I can't be bothered to do anything today including eat or cookd. I have to get moving soon though as I have too much to do. I stupidly volunteered to go to a party this afternoon with DD and I'm not sure I can get out of it. I know it will be good but its so far away and lasts for so long that it will stop me from doing all the other things I need to do.

I guess if I'm busy then I won't be able to pig out. There will be at BBQ the party. Wonder what they will do when the heavens open? I guess I'll just be eating chicken today, removing the skin of course. Maybe if I eat enough of it, I won't need any dinner?!

Sneak a doggy bag and take excess barbecue food home!

Right, today I am sticking to plan like glue. An EE day for me.

Breakfast: muesli (HEB), grated apple, milk (HEA), cup of tea
Lunch: Scrambled eggs, cheese (HEA), toast (HEB)
Dinner: Spicy stew type affair of chicken thighs, chickpeas, tomatoes, fresh garlic & swiss chard. Served with rice or possibly cous cous if I have any. Plus any extra veg that needs using up. Carrots. I have a ton of carrots.
Snacks: carrot & celery sticks with hummus (will check syns)

Mmmmmm prawn crackers

Had a nice afternoon at a farm yesterday, but boy did it rain! Before that though I managed to have a go on a big trampoline (first time since I was at school!) Never has so much flab bounced so much Grin Dd thought it was funny as she was on with me. Unfortunately dh took a video and some photos...

Anyway, it's a potentially dodgy day today as dh is off out with his friends for a day of drinking, and is staying away tonight. I must resist buying any chocolate and stuffing myself this evening. Even though I will have had dd and ds all day and the bedtime fight/nightmare on my own.

Todays food will be:

Weetabix
Lunch of spaghetti or cheese triangles on toast
Sausage hot pot type thing with quorn sausages, onion, baked beans and tomatoes chucked in the slow cooker. Maybe some mash if I can be arsed.
Fruit and yogurt for snacks and absolutely no wine or chocolate!
