Lady buzz - glad one of your DS are feeling better.

Shaxx - i think your right and i do blow out one day then it creeps to 2 and before you know it your playing catch up for the friday Weigh in! Not hopefull for tomorrow but im not going to de rail and work harder for next week.

Knotty - i tried the Goats cheese thing today but substituted the raspberries for cherries as had none and it was delish! I love goats cheese!

TDW - Im glad your knee is feeling better and your "Beasting" (wont ask) did not make it worse.

Justaminute - will have to look into that Bra, i need all the help i can get. Also its true what TDW said its your confidence that is most attactive.

I have had Melon for breakfast

2 slices of wholemeal toast and goats cheese combo for lunch

Minitsrone soup for dinner.

BelleEnd · 30/06/2011 15:59

My boobs are truly horrible since I lost weight... I think they are the main reason DH wants me to stop losing :o They hang. However, I am always in good bras and give the illusion of two footballs :o
Primark do a fantastic push up bra with practically a duvet stuck into each cup... Slightly ridiculous but I love it!

thedogwalker · 30/06/2011 16:53

I think I need to treat myself to some nice new lingerie, it's amazing how good I always feel if I'm wearing a lovely set of bra and pants. Note to self, have a splash out this weekend Grin

BelleEnd · 30/06/2011 19:20

Had the same as yesterday, except for lots and lots of ricecakes and 2 packets of special k snack things. According to MFP I've only had about 1,050 cals so I don't feel too bad. Have been bloody starving all day, think AF may be on the way. Dreading weigh-in tomorrow, I had such a crap 4 days.

BelleEnd · 01/07/2011 07:27

11st2, which is 2lb on. Crap in that I sabotaged last week's loss, but, knowing how much I ate, it could have been worse. I have two weeks to lose those 2lb again... It will be DS1's birthday, and I want to eat cake without guilt, which means I'll have to eat healthily now to make up for it!

Hope you all have huge losses at the weigh-ins today.

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 01/07/2011 07:48

Belle - dont despair as i put 1lb on this week! We shall both vow to do better next week.

Im not too bothered as i thought it would be 2lb after my mid week weigh in.

Shaxx - im taking your advice and im not breaking the diet this weekend and hope to have at least a 2lb loss next week.

13 weeks till my big day people, i need to step up the game.

Good luck on your weigh ins everyone.

thedogwalker · 01/07/2011 08:18

Good morning

Don't despair Belle and thinbride, I know we do weekly weigh ins but the best thing is to try and focus on your loss over the month, as we can fluctaute drastically from day to day and week to week, with AF etc. So if you look at the month of June I bet you are on a loss and not a gain, so be happy Grin

I am a sts this week, again I am not sad at this as I am within 5 lbs of my goal and these last few pounds are stubborn, I am just happy to be where I am and know that my goal is stil in sight.

I wish everyone good luck for the weigh in and hope that everyone is happy. It's going to be a hot weekend, yippee, take care xx

dinkystinky · 01/07/2011 09:09

Mornign all. Belle, Thinbride - keep the faith. Remember - mindful eating, treat your body with the respect and care it deserves and dont beat yourselves up. And drink lots of water !

TDW - feel your pian. I lost a grand total of 0.4lbs this week - now 10.06 so 0.06lbs away from goal. Hey ho. Will get there eventually. On plus side, got a compliment from a secretary at work yesterday that I seem to have really toned up recently so that's always nice.

dinkystinky · 01/07/2011 09:10

ps v glad will be a hot weekend. Dsis hen do tomorrow - picnic and pedaloes in park, bunting fest and then pub. I fear I will be well out of the zone this weekend. Though going to sneak in a run today and a pt session tomorrow morning before the festivities begin.

justaminute · 01/07/2011 09:17

I hope you glowed in the compliment Dinky and didn?t rebuff it. Well done. Good news too TDW. Belle and thinbride I feel your pain, 1lb on for me.

My plan to kick ass in June has failed to materialise. Over the month I have attempted to eat sensibly, have shredded 20 times, done 2 runs and played 7 games of netball but only lost a pathetic 1lb, half an inch from my waist, hips and knees.

Intending to eat, drink and be merry this weekend at the wedding then I?ll begin the holiday countdown. 7 weeks to lose 1 stone. Although I?m not sure how to go about it as I thought I was doing the right things in June Hmm

dinkystinky · 01/07/2011 09:51

JAM, have you seen the latest book (I think there's an app for it too) by Matt Robertson - Fit in 2 weeks - or something like that. When I was in the run up to my wedding I did his bodydoctor cardio and weights programme and it toned me up a treat so I really rate his work outs which are hard, hard, hard - and this one also has a daily meal planner included. If you need to shake things up, may be worth having a look at that when in a book shop to see if it catches your fancy at all. Have a great time at the wedding this weekend. And 1lb lost, half inch from all over is a good loss - keep the faith - you will lose that stone!

iluvcake · 01/07/2011 10:06

Well done dinky-you're almost there!

JAM enjoy the wedding this weekend! Starting from Monday, I'm with you! I need to lose half a stone in a month.

1lb off for me this week. Managed pilates and Jillian's Metabolism Booster workout. Unfortunately, wasn't good for my pelvic area, so off to the Physio for me later and have had to drop out of my bootcamp class this morning. Am falling apart! I noticed after doing Jillian, I had such a buzz and I wanted to eat better. Exercise is such a big part of trying to stay on the straight and narrow-it's frustrating not being able to do it.

Have a good day everyone and a biff-free weekend!

knottyhair · 01/07/2011 10:27

Morning! LadyBuzz, hope your DS is better today. TDW - glad your knee is on the mend, and hope you enjoy shopping for lingerie! And well done on STS; those last few pounds are stubborn! Thinbride - 13 weeks! So exciting for you. You can do it lovely, stay in the zone and imagine yourself slinking down the aisle! BelleEnd, you'll be able to lose that 2lb in 2 weeks. Stay positive and follow all the good advice on here. Dinky, what a great compliment Smile! And do you really mean 0.06lbs, or 0.6lbs? 0.06 seems tiny! Enjoy your hen do, like you told me earlier in the week, it's good to let loose sometimes. JAM, it's hard to stay positive when you can't see where you're going wrong, that's exactly how I felt last week. Do you log your calorie intake (sorry, I can't recall of you're on MFP Blush). Also, the book suggestion from Dinky sounds good. Hope you enjoy the wedding! iluv, great loss! And I totally agree with you about the exercise, but sorry you've hurt yourself, that sounds painful.
Well, I don't quite know why but I've lost 3.25lbs this week. Whilst obviously I'm pleased, I am a bit Confused, as the only difference to the week before (when I put on nearly 1lb) was that this week I had a weekend of over-eating! So go figure as they say on the other side of the pond. Like TDW, I'm now 5lbs away from my goal. Had fruit bread with the old goats cheese/fat-free yoghurt combo for breakfast, have an Innocent Sweet Chilli pot to use up for lunch, and am trying a Jillian recipe for tea - Vegetable & Almond Pad Thai. I'm also making her banana & blueberry muffins (but with wimberries) later. Ooh get me. Have a good day! x

OP posts:
thinbridewaitingtogetout · 01/07/2011 11:06

Well done to the losers and the stmers!

Everone seems to be having lovely plans for the weekend, Knotty that Pad Thai sound lovley and those muffins.

Well im about to make some oat and linseed bread from a packet mix to have with our dinner later.

Had 2 slices of goats cheese spread toast and some cherrys

Soup for lunch

and marinated chicken, baked flatcap mushrooms and salad for dinner witrh said bread.

thedogwalker · 01/07/2011 12:23

Dinky, how annoying for you? Fingers x that you reach goal next week.

Well done iluv, keep up the good work and wow Knotty, you see last week was just a blip, looking at it monthly, you have done bloomin marvellous Grin

Just want to tell you about my lovely Mum, she has been living with me for 7 weeks, looking after my DS whilst I found an au pair. She is 75 years old and is fit as a fiddle, but is always on a diet. She is currently on slimming world. Anyway in the 7 weeks she's been with me, she has lost 12.5 lbs, in that time I've lost 2lbs Hmm. I hope to God that at 75 I am not still worried about my weight and that I can just enjoy my life.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, stay in the zone and enjoy yourselves, ta ta

LadyBuzz · 01/07/2011 14:30

Well done to everyone who has lost or STS, I have had a slight gain of just under half a pound which is fine esp after the party filled weekend we had Smile

I'm working tomorrow so i'll try and keep myself busy cleaning the bar if its quiet that always works up a sweat for me!

I have a manic July coming up starting from next weekend, I have a hen doo, then the following week a wedding and a girly night, then the week after a 40th and a christening Shock then i only have 2 weeks to get back on track before we go away, my goal was to be 10lbs lighter by then, i suppose it is still doable.

Bolognaise tonight for us. Can't wait, i might even treat myself to a beer.

Enjoy your weekends everyone.

knottyhair · 01/07/2011 14:39

Thinbride, that bread sounds lovely! TDW, thanks for the boost! And blimey, your mum's done well, but as you say, I don't plan to be on a diet at that age! LadyBuzz, that's a good result! Sounds like you've got a busy time coming up, but we'll try and keep you in the zone. Bolognese sounds really good. I've just had half a banana/wimberry muffin straight from the oven - v.nice. Have covered up the rest on the cooling rack to see if "out of sight, out of mind" works...

OP posts:
thedogwalker · 01/07/2011 14:50

Good luck Knotty with the out of sight malarky, cos you know you can still smell them Grin

knottyhair · 01/07/2011 15:52

They're now in a tin with the lid on!

OP posts:
Shaxx · 01/07/2011 21:53

I just read through the posts but have forgotten everything! So apologies for missing stuff out;

Knotty great loss. You were obviously doing somethhing very right! must be Queen Jillians recipes.

Dinky wow you're so close. Compliments are always good!

Thinbride !3 weeks is plenty of time to lose the weight you want. good luck for the weekend diet! I wish I could stick to my own advice Hmm

JAM me and you both! I've been spinning and exercising loads but haven't got the food sussed yet. I seriously don't know why I'm so rubbish at it. Maybe we should follow a proper diet ie a list of meals and only stick to that? Dinky's suggestion looks good. Let me know if you come up with any ideas.

iluv well done on the loss and exercising. I think I'm addicted to the buzz from exercise!

TDW well done on sts and a big well done to your mum! thats a great weight loss.

LAdy and Belle don't worry about slight fluctuations. Good luck for this week.

I had a great time at my mums. Thanks for all the tips. It really did help me to focus. I just had meals (lunch and dinner) and had a one slice of cake for dessert. I drank loads of water too and had an apple when I felt peckish in t he afternoon. Normally, I'd have cake and snack every hour!
I still had a sts though. I think I'll look up dinky's book.

knottyhair · 02/07/2011 07:23

Morning! Shaxx, sounds like you did brilliantly at your mum's Smile.

Having my day off from Jillian's workouts today. Walking into town to get DS's feet re-measured, he needs new sandals, wellies & trainers - gulp. Meeting my parents in Pret for lunch. Making chicken marinated in yoghurt, lime, coriander & almonds, with salad and a few new potatoes for tea. Have a lovely weekend everyone xx

OP posts:
knottyhair · 03/07/2011 18:42

What a quiet weekend on here! Hope everyone's doing nice things, and staying in the zone! Did 4 circuits of NMTZ with 3 lots of cardio this morning, then walked down to the cinema and back this afternoon with DP and DS to see the Transformers film that's 2.5 hours of my life I won't get back. Had soup & salad for lunch, one scoop of ice-cream at the cinema, and we've just had prawn & chorizo rice for tea.

BelleEnd · 03/07/2011 20:19

Hello all! Had a lovely weekend, and somehow managed to stay within my calorie zone.
Saturday saw a picnic with co-op's chicken noodle salad (why do they call it salad when there are only three slices of pepper and a piece of cabbage in it?) Then we had a barbecue, and I made some lamb burgers- Deeelish!
I had another picnic today, and had a salad with walkers baked crisps- They are really lovely for a low-cal treat, I think I might buy them again at the weekends. Also, a chewee bar. Dinner was leftover lamb burgers, and fruit salad.
I wanted three go-ahead biscuits tonight, so I cleaned for bloody ages to burn up the calories :o My husband didn't know what had hit him. I am crap at cleaning, and this place actually smells fresh! Shock :o

I counted my husband's calories today (on the sly)- I was amazed that his pasty was more than my whole lunch- and he had two- and crisps and a pudding!

dinkystinky · 03/07/2011 20:34

Evening all - hope everyone has had a good weekend. Well done on staying in the zone Knotty and BelleEnd. I have most definitely not been in the zone - but it was my sister's hen do yesterday so have a good excuse. Managed not to biff today despite hangover -had lovely trout (caught by DH) and new potatoes and salad for lunch, flat bread with spicy houmous this afternoon when energy levels were dipping and about to have an indian meal courtesy of my mother (who was down for sister's hen do and kindly brought a food parcel) - will be back in the zone tomorrow.

knottyhair · 04/07/2011 10:01

BelleEnd, well done on staying in the zone despite picnic & barbecue. I love a lamb burger! Grin at you cleaning like a maniac! Dinky, well done for not biffing with a hangover! How was the hen do??

Just done 4 circuits of BFBM - very "glowing" now! Had fruit bread with goat's cheese/yoghurt combo, either salad or soup for lunch and roasted veg pasta for tea later. Hope the sun is shining for everybody! xx
