Hope it's OK that I've started this new thread, but the old one is now full! Not sure if my entry went on the old one, but anyhoo - let's keep going people! Here's to eating tasty healthy food, finding and sticking with exercise we enjoy and getting fitter, stronger & hopefully slimmer! xx

OP posts:
LadyBuzz · 24/06/2011 08:09

I've lost 3lbs woohoo! so i must have ingrained those portion sizes into my brain now!
only 1lb off my 1 1/2 stone.

I do reckon its probably due to starting the exercise again.

AND I mananged to get into another pair of jeans that didn't fit before, they are a 14 but a small fitting 14.

Oh i'm having a good day so far Grin

Those of you who use my fitness pal what do you think of it? I've been doing closer on line but i'm not using the meal plans anymore and it seems a waste of money when i can join a free one!

Good luck to everyone

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 24/06/2011 08:18

Well done LadyBuzz that a brilliant loss! and your so close now to your goal.

Shaxx, i feel your pain if i start nibbling thats it i snowball! But today is another day and the start of a new weigh in week.

I have lost 4.5lb! since monday and i cant quite believe it! Im really uber chuffed as im back to the lowest i was before i went off the rails. Although i think its a combo of being good and i ate a lot on sunday evening so may of weighed in heavier on Monday morning so its come off quicker? Who knows im now only 5.5lb away from my 10% goal.

I have just had 2 slices of toast for breakfast with jam as i litteraly have no healthy food in as im going fod shopping today.

Plan on making Lamb Kebabs from WW website tonight i think.

Hope every one has a good weigh in.

LadyBuzz · 24/06/2011 08:23

Well done thinbride that is a great loss.

Thanks for your kind words but sadly i'm only 1lb away from my first 1 1/2 stone, i'm still 2 stone away from my target! but getting there and that is the main thing!

Shaxx · 24/06/2011 09:36

Well done Ladybuzz and Thinbride! What great results!

Ladybuzz Myfitnesspal is brilliant. Register with them and then you can have me and Belle to check in with. When you finished logging your cals for the day, it posts up whether you've been in your allowance for the day onto your 'wall' so your friends can see. Your friends will also see if you log any exercise and losses. I love it.
I'm just getting back into it.

Thinbride looks like your in the zone. You WILL be a thinbride Smile

Er 1/2lb off here. Well I did have a crazy blowout from fri to sat night last week. Lots of cake and banoffee pie involved.

porridge and toast for breakfast (up most of the night so starving)
leftover couscous salad
take away at friends (I will be good! I'll have some fruit before I go so am not revenous)

justaminute · 24/06/2011 09:37

Morning. Well done losers! I?ve lost a pathetic half a pound. I don?t normally record half pounds but I?m so peeved after all my efforts that I am claiming it. A loss is a loss and all that.

Perhaps I shouldn?t have eaten the rewards of my baking yesterday (it is school fete season). I made lemon meringue cupcakes . I wanted to do something new. I can confirm that they are good

Guitargirl · 24/06/2011 09:40

Aarrgh, have had a very frustrating morning, trying and failing to get Olympics tickets Angry Angry.

Have lost 3.75 pounds but am in such a bad mood now!

Shaxx · 24/06/2011 09:44

Well done JAM, my weightloss twin. We seem to be sts most weeks and both have 1/2lb off this week. I'll challenge you to a lb next friday.

Guitargirl thats an excellent loss! well done. I gave up on the olympic tickets too. I was trying from 6am as I was up anyway and just got fed up. There's not much left and there were no children tickets for what they had anyway.

dinkystinky · 24/06/2011 09:52

Well done losers! Any loss is a good loss! GG, dont let the Olympics fiasco put you off your glee over your great loss. I am positive there will be lots of tickets up for sale over the winter months too so you should be good to get some at some point.

I can report a 1lb loss here so clawing my way to goal. one lb to go. This despite a client drinks evening last night - was v restrained, 4 glasses of fizz and only a couple of canapes. Though had to have a bacon roll this morning as was starving!

thedogwalker · 24/06/2011 09:54

Shaxx Hope you managed to stay away from the nibbles...

Thinbride I'm baking chocolate brownie and coffee and walnut cupcakes with coffee flavoured butter icing. Tnanlfully most of it going to the fete, but DH will have a taste and I always treat myself to one, as part ot my daily allowance.

Ladybuzz wow 3lbs thats brilliant, well done Grin.
Thinbride double wow, another amazing loss, so happy for you, bet you can imagine yourself looking slinky in your dress now, can't you.
Shaxx and JAM half pound is still a loss, better than any sts, so happy for you both.
Guitargirl another wow wow, what a week for the zone it's been. Sending you good luck vibes for the tickets.

I'm a 1 lb loss, so happy with that, only 5 more to go to target, these last few pounds are the hardest to shift, but I will do it.

Hope everyone has a good day, take care xx

LadyBuzz · 24/06/2011 09:55

shaxx i have set myself up - are you shaxx on there too.
belleend i've sent you a friend request.
It looks good.

Well done on the losses a loss is a loss no matter how small!!

guitargirl hope you manage to get tickets.

thedogwalker · 24/06/2011 09:55

x post with Dinky, congrats on that 1 lb, fingers crossed for you next week to get to goal Grin

justaminute · 24/06/2011 10:22

Shaxx ,my weightloss twin. We were the ones that said we were going to kick ass in June, what?s happened?! I was hoping for greatness sadly it has not materialised. Maybe the intended half stone will disappear next week? Hmm

Dinky well done for not biffing the canapés after 4 glasses of fizz.. I would have been on the floor ? I have a soft spot for the fizzy stuff but it goes straight to my head

knottyhair · 24/06/2011 10:22

Morning! Wow, great losses for everyone! And well done LadyBuzz on getting into your jeans! Just to be different, I've managed to put on three quarters of a pound this week Sad. I don't know why, I've been trying to work it out but I've been within my allowance everyday, exercised every day. I really thought I'd lost some as well. I must be doing something wrong, I'm back to where I was 3 weeks ago. Am allowing myself a wallow then I need to pick myself up and carry on. Have done 6W6P L1 this morning. Will have the rest of the lentil & chilli soup for lunch and roast chicken and salad for tea. Sorry to put a downer on the thread - you've all done brilliantly Smile !

OP posts:
thedogwalker · 24/06/2011 10:36

Oh Knotty don't be too hard on yourself, there could be a million and one reasons, none of them any fault of your own, could be simply water retention or something similar and lets put this into perspective, 3/4 of a lb isn't that much, in the big scheme of things. You do so well, this is just a minor blip and I bet next week all will be well again. So don't feel down, focus on how far you've come and how good you already look in your size 10s Grin

dinkystinky · 24/06/2011 10:37

Knotty - could simply be water retention (especially with the changeable weather at the moment). Dont let it get you down - what do your size 10 Wink trousers tell you? If they tell you you've lost weight, then believe in your trousers rather than the scales - and keep the faith my friend.

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 24/06/2011 10:57

Well done to the losers (no matter how small as a loss is a loss!) and Knotty i would not be upset by that small gain espcially as your already a size 10 and as TDW said it could jujst be water retention!

TDW - Im making the low fat Carrot cake recipe from the recipe pages here today and will point it up and have a slice for my treat tonight. Also i love coffee cake soooooo much i would of bought the lot had i seen those at a fete!

Shaxx · 24/06/2011 11:23

TDW I'd come to your fete and buy those delicious cakes!
JAM yes, we were going to kick some weight loss arse. Dont know what happenened. I did improve my running though Hmm Can't have it all I guess.
Maybe we can kick some last week arse?
Ladybuzz have sent you a friend request.
Knotty Do not get down about a minor fluctuation. You have to think about how well you've done so far. The less you have to lose, the harder it is. Not that thats really comforting but its just a fact. Keep going and you'll be fine Smile

knottyhair · 24/06/2011 11:30

Thanks everyone! Feel a bit pathetic and have got a bit more perspective now! Have just picked half a kilo of blackcurrants from the garden and will think of something nice to do with them Smile.

OP posts:
iluvcake · 24/06/2011 11:35

Morning.

Some really good losses on here this morning! Well done you losers!!

Sorry to not be joining you as I have put on 1.5lbs this weekSad. I've had so many lunches out and been out for dinner twice, a cupcake decorating course on wed (of which I ate two) and have only done 2 sessions of pilates in two weeks. My hip is really aching at the moment and I'm scared I will hurt it again. However, I dragged my sorry ass to bootcamp this morning and I'm worried I won't be able to walk tomorrow. I feel like I'm falling apart.

I can't stop eating. Every morning I'm full of good intentions but can't seem to stay in the zone. Once I get into it, I'm fine, it's just getting there!

I'm really going to try this week. Have taken the cellophane off Jillian's fat buster/metabolism booster dvd so it's a start!Blush

thedogwalker · 24/06/2011 11:53

Iluv hope you're not too disheartened. That's alot of eating out and a cup cake course, OMG I would be in heaven, so I dont think you've done too bad at all. Pick yourself up, get into that zone and remember more than anything this week, nothing, and that really does mean nothing, tastes as good, or as sweet as being slim feels and getting into those jeans you haven't worn for ages Grin.

Hope you have a good weekend and I hope your hip gets better soon. Chin up xx

iluvcake · 24/06/2011 12:02

Thanks so much TDW. That really helps.

I've been feeling a bit crap recently. A lot going on and just not being able to control my eating frustrates me so much.

I'm hoping that things are going to settle down now and I won't be so busy. I don't feel like I've contributed much to the thread recently and find it hard to keep up, but hopefully I will be able to now. You are all so supportive.

Thanks, iluv X

BelleEnd · 24/06/2011 17:29

Hello and congrats on the losses, commiserations on the gains. It comes in swings and roundabouts, doesn't it!

I was 11st this morning- A 1.5 lb loss, which is bloody great considering LeicesterLard. However, I have eaten like a pig today, and all crap, so I think I need to get back on the horse tomorrow!

My Fitness Pal is great. I love it.

thedogwalker · 24/06/2011 19:55

No problems iluv that's what we are all here for Smile. When I first moved, I didn't come on the thread for about 5 weeks and then when I did come back it was only like once a week until i leaned to juggle, work, baby and house work, but I can finally say I'm there. So take all the time you need to calm your life down and pop on when you can, we'll always be here to spur you on when you need us.

Congrats Belle that is a brilliant loss with the leicester visit, so you can have a good time and still lose weight, life is sweet Grin.

I'm joining the knotty club today, I went into Next and bought a new suit, size 10 trousers and jacket, I have NEVER EVER worn a size 10 jacket, so I'm chuffed today.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend, take care xx

LadyBuzz · 24/06/2011 20:18

oooh TDW thats fab, bet it felt amazing!

dinkystinky · 24/06/2011 21:48
