Personally I think we should send Iheart to coventry for those dirty thread end stealing tactics Wink

IHeartIona · 12/04/2011 19:20

IHeartIona · 12/04/2011 19:21

IHeartIona · 12/04/2011 19:23

Has not had...

MrsKwazii · 12/04/2011 19:24

I am signing up again tomorrow. I am fat, fed-up and think that my diet is also making me a grumpy old cow. Need to lose four stone, but having done it before know I can do it again.

And even if my diet isn't affecting my mood, at least I'll be a grumpy thin cow Wink

collision · 12/04/2011 19:24

is everyone still motivated on WW PP?

I seem to have lost my way and not losing atm but have kept off a stone and 10lbs which is great.

Am currently 12st 3lb and would love to be 11 stone for August hols!

NoWayNoHow · 12/04/2011 19:27

I would like to (a) mark my spot, and (b) offer some HEARTy (geddit?) congrats to the new "last post" champion!

Haven't caught up on the old thread, sorry guys, but suffice to say big congrats to all the losers, and commiserations to sts and gains. Another thread, a fresh start!

Well, except for me, I refuse to track till new week on Friday. Feel like shit warmed up on a shit day in Shitsville. Having to take some hardcore legal highs painkillers just to get vertical, as I swear I can feel every organ in my body aching, and every nerve in my skin tingling.

Good luck for any WI's for the rest of the week!

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/04/2011 19:28

hmc i agree, that was downright sneaky Grin

very unladylike and bad sportmanship!!!!!

OK will let you off IheartIona - hope dd is better soon!

Collision - I'm still pretty motivated. 3 stone off so far and only 13lbs until I'm at BMI 25 (although I intend to go further than that, probably aim for BMI 23/4). Comments I am receiving from others has been really motivating (lots of admiration and respect for doing so well - which is nice).

It's good that you are maintaining...what can you do to fire up your enthusiasm for the next stretch?

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/04/2011 19:31

hmmmmmmmmmmmm iona guess we can let you off,if dd really has cp

i want to see evidence!!!! Grin

NoWay - feel lots of sympathy for you because weren't you ill a couple of weeks ago too?

NoWayNoHow · 12/04/2011 19:33

x-post kwazii and collision - hello!!

WW pp seems to work better for some than others - I personally really enjoy the buffer that the weeklies give me as I found myself becoming slightly food obsessed on the old points system (when am I going out? how many extra points will I need? Which days shall I save them from, i.e. on which days am I going to starve?)

I lost 2st on the old plan, put 8lbs back on last year, and have lost 12lbs since the second week of Jan this year. Only 3lbs off goal which I want to get off before a wedding in May, so a bit of time.

upthehill · 12/04/2011 19:36

I am on week 3 and have so far lost 7lb so I am pretty pleased.

First week was like a monk, hardly used any of my weekly allowance. Second week - less so Grin used a lot more of my weekly, mainly on wine!

Still finding my way, but I hav a few top tips that are working for me.

Stop eating bread - not worth the points!

Cooked new potatoes are great to have about in the fridge - 100g at 2 pts is a lot. Great in salad. Much better point wise than rice/ pasta for salads at

Sainsburys Greek Salad cheese 1/3 of the pack only 3 pts and tastes good (great for lunch salads)

Miso soup - 0 pts I buy the box with 5 sachets, a lifesaver when you want something saviourly

Meringue nests - 1 point and a real treat. I eat with a cup of coffee or cover with berries.

2 poached eggs and crumpet for breakfast - fab and filling and only 6 pts.

What I have yet to discover is a really tastly low fat fruit or plain yougurt. Tried the 0% Total Greek but didn't like it.

Been trying to find a good 2 pt pudding - been searching for Mini Cornettos (don't seem to exist) Fab ice lollies are just not doing it for me!

NoWayNoHow · 12/04/2011 19:39

x-post hmc - yip, had sinusitis a couple of weeks ago and now have tonsillitis.

Sat in Dr chair today with head in hands going "will I ever be well again?"

He said, "probably not, not with the nursery-aged child!!"

Basically, it's a lose-lose, as every time I'm sick, my immune system is compromised, and when it's compromised, then I pick up stuff easier, which totally isn't fair!

Everyone keep an eye out for a runaway WW wagon with a blonde and a NoWay hanging off the back of it. Grin

NoWayNoHow · 12/04/2011 19:41

x-post upthehill (shall I just change my name to x-post?)

Skinny Cow icecream lollies are only 2pp iirc. Also, Muller Light yogs are also only 2pp and a yummy dessert option if you go for interesting flavours like vanilla with dark chocolate sprinkles.

upthehill · 12/04/2011 19:45

Should have added that I am also trying to avoid artificial sweetners where possible. I can really taste them in the Muller Yogurts - fussy I know!

Blondeshavemorefun · 12/04/2011 19:47

i love the vanilla with choc sprinkles, its less cals then the toffee one
