Well done willaby and hmc on losses!

vnmum we sound like the same person! Same height, same fine size, same Dr Whatshisface true weight! Grin

NoWayNoHow · 13/04/2011 23:19

SueSylvesterforPM · 13/04/2011 23:19

SueSylvesterforPM · 13/04/2011 23:28

just did my true weight 13st 5lbs :O what! I wanna be 10 :(

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 14/04/2011 07:16

Morning all. Am on phone so can't catch up properly. Well done Willaby and HMC on your losses. Am hoping to join you as have WI this morning but am a bit nervous as have eaten all weeklies and 20 of the 30 activity pointsI logged. So am eating breakfast and have gone for the most filling but weighing fairly light thing I could think of. Will report later.

I did the Dukan true weight thing, can't remember exactly but it put me roughly a stone over my goal, so a stone over top of BMI range for my height.

Piffle · 14/04/2011 07:54

I'm 5ft 6 so 9st 4 is pretty slim for me but in fairness I have ickle hips and skinny legs so I just need to shift this stone of Lard on my belly!
I'm hopeful of a decent loss this week, next week is PMS coupled with school hols so anything could happen!!!
Going to try and be good today- all weeklies have gone have only had 3 exercise PP all week ( bad back, buggered Achilles)
So to lose will be mind bogglingly weird!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2011 09:22

morning all

my true weight is 10/7 Hmm - i will struggle to get it there, let alone keep it there

OP posts:
hmc · 14/04/2011 09:38

That Dukan fella looks shifty to me!

ClaireDeLoon · 14/04/2011 10:08

I did my true weight a few weeks ago and it was more than my ww target of BMI=25. So I ignored it. I agree hmc (how's your head?) he looks dodgy. Someone at work has lost about 5st I think on Dukan, was sitting next to him at partners meeting the other day and he ate a load of crisps and the cheese out of a sandwich. So it's a healthy diet then! I'd been virtuous and eaten before the meeting so I wasn't tempted.

Well done willaby and hmc on losses!

I had WI this morning and sts - first time and I'm on week 10 so I'm OK with that, plus TOTM.

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 14/04/2011 10:08

Back from WI, 3.5lbs off for me this week so flipping delighted. Very, very shattered from all the exercise but feels worth it so will get my lardy arse back in pool tomorrow morning and make sure I do some crawl as it definitely pushes me a lot more. Got into 14 stone bracket and am 1lb off 4 stone. F

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 14/04/2011 10:11

Sorry ClairedeLoon, didn't see you there. Glad you're OK with your WI result, think you've done really well to get this far with out a STS, I managed one on week 2 !

ClaireDeLoon · 14/04/2011 10:16

Wynken 3.5lbs off is great well done!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2011 10:26

Well done wynken on loss and on getting into new stone category. Claire glad you're glad you've sts!

I think we should all ignore shifty Dr bloke and his "true" weight. I think his playground scientific method of working out true weight involves taking the least we've weighed and the most we've weighed and randomly choosing somewhere in between. And what's with recommending a weight that's still over BMI 25? Surely that should be everyone's aim at least - to get into the healthy range?

Anyway, rant over. Have had a strawberry and banana smoothie for breakfast (on the recommendation of you lovely ladies) as well as a boiled egg. Don't really fancy anything else, so will just pick at food as and when I get a bit hungry.

Also did a cheeky (one day early) weight check and it would appear I'm the same as Friday's WI, which makes sense when you consider the huge amount I ate and drank over the weekend, and my illness counteracting that.

Good luck for any more WI's today!

Piffle · 14/04/2011 11:16

wynken that is fab, you are doing so very well

SueSylvesterforPM · 14/04/2011 11:43

I think that true weight thing may be faddy tbh

lasy year from tyhe gym I was told 12st was good for me

5'9/10 with size 9 feet big bone structure. I hate having to say it irl coz people thing its an excuse for weight, the 2 things are different though.

I see many 'skinny people' who clearly have big frames

SueSylvesterforPM · 14/04/2011 11:43

Congrats wynken

hmc · 14/04/2011 11:56

Sue - i have a big frame too, height 5ft 8/9 and size 8 feet (very broad too - can't wear many styles of shoe)

CDL - head is fine, thanks for asking Grin, think you are right to be philosophical about an STS after having lost consistently for the preceeding 9 weeks. All being well you'll get a good loss next week

Noway -well done on forcing down brekkie

Wynken - great loss, well done!

My WW leader was talking about easter egg choc last night - apparently it contains 3x the amount of regular sugar (the additional sugar acts as a preservative for easter egg choc as they are manufactured months in advance). She gave us a sheet with pp values for many easter eggs if anyone is interested...

hmc · 14/04/2011 11:56

Meant to type '3x the amount of sugar than regular chocolate'

Piffle · 14/04/2011 12:08

I'm lucky :-)
I don't like chocolate or sweet things much!
I do like cream though ESP on meringues I can binge on them Blush

vnmum · 14/04/2011 12:17

Hi all, well done wynken that is a fab loss and claire glad you are ok with a STS

I have to report a 1.5lb Gain. I'm not surprised, i have been off the wagon for a number of weeks and think it may well have finally caught up with me plus i have an impending AF(was due yesterday, getting all the pains but no actual AF yet) so i think that could be contibuting to it.

hmc that is really interesting about the easter egg choc, how sneaky of the manufacturers. You would just think to calculate the PP for x grams of dairy milk say, when you would actually be eating alot more

Piffle · 14/04/2011 12:18

Forgot to detail food for today!
Shredded wheat and semi skim 5 PP
2 choc ch cookies 3PP

Spiced pork fillet on salad with yoghurt dressing 8PP

Pitta pizzas with chargrill peppers, ricotta and pepperoni, 9PP
And salad.

SueSylvesterforPM · 14/04/2011 12:24

im off out on a 21st tommorrow night im saving my pro points for then is this a good idea

had no pro points this week

ClaireDeLoon · 14/04/2011 12:39

Sue I hope you mean no weekly points and not no pro points - would hate to think you'd been surviving on fruit, veg and water :o

vnmum sorry about your gain, are you all motivated to climb back on the wagon now?

hmc tell me that Lindt gold bunnies aren't extra sugar? I've bought DP a small Lindt gold bunny egg as didn't want him to miss out all together but will take it off ocado order if it does contain extra sugar!

With regard to build I have a tiny build, slim wrists, ankles, ribcage, very skinny feet etc which makes it even more embarassing I had got to the weight I had. I've never hidden behind the big build excuse I am slight with way way too much padding :o
