Very quickly flying in and out - STS this week which is ok as TOTM. Been to gym and did Day 3 of Week 5 of C25K - managed the 20 min run - actually did 21 mins then walked for 2 mins then ran the last 2 mins! Grin

Back tonight to catch up!

SueSylvesterforPM · 14/04/2011 14:06

Claire _ I'm on a lot of daily points 48 fsr lol
i'm trying to manage under that lol
so I've had noone of my seven a week and saving them for friday :)

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 14:18

ClaireDeLoon - I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but my ww leader told us that a Lindt gold bunnie is.................... 30 PROPOINTS

vnmum · 14/04/2011 14:26

claire Yes I am back on the wagon today.

I think I will stick to maltesers easter bunnies for my easter treats, so much nicer than an egg and so much fewer points

androbbob glad you finished the 20 min run, it's like a milestone reached isn't it. I should have done day 2 of week 6 2 days ago but have been putting it off, don't know why, so i am hoping to get out and do it today

CLB1 · 14/04/2011 14:31

quick pop in :)
Ive changed my WI day to a Thursday morning. so WI this morning and gained 2lbs but after my disasterous week last week, not too bad. Here's to the new week :)

I'll catch up this evening, there were only 3 pages last time I looked and now there's 6 Shock I need to check in more :)

ClaireDeLoon · 14/04/2011 16:28

Littlefish I bet that is a HUGE gold bunny - the £30 job. No way could a little bunny be that. Hopefully! I've bought him this one I just hope they haven't added extra sugar.

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 16:32

Sorry again Claire but she said it was the small one. We were all astounded! Apparently a cream egg is 5 pro points. She said that it is more because more fat is used in the moulding/molding process. I'll see if I can find out more online.

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 16:33

That didn't make sense, sorry.... Should have said...

She said that it is so much because more fat is used in the moulding/molding process.

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 16:37

I've found these figures online.

Lindt Gold Bunny:
Gold Bunny 200g 30 PP
Dark chocolate 40 g 6PP
Dark chocolate whole 100g 15PP
Milk chocolate 40 g 6PP
Milk chocolate whole 100g 15PP
White chocolate 40g 6PP
White chocolate 1 whole 100g 16PP
Gift Box Bunny with 3 carrots 130g 20 PP
Mini Bunny 10g 60% cocoa 1 PP

So, it's the 200g one she was talking about.

mistlethrush · 14/04/2011 16:38

So - been at 'goal' 8 (or is it 9?) years ago - since when chemo, ds, mcs and the rest have rather got on top of me to the extent that I daren't get on the scales. Does the new propoints version work better than the old one? Does it make it any easier? Last time I had to go onto minimum points, excercise a lot and still only lost at about 1.5lbs a month [stamps foot, its really not fair]. Shall I join up again - really need to get the weight lost and have it stay off.....

?????

Piffle · 14/04/2011 16:39

Sue that's a lot of points?
My DH set his up accidentally on maintenance which gave him 48 a day
He's now o
I'm not sure of your weight though but 48 pp seems v high?

ClaireDeLoon · 14/04/2011 16:45

oh meh I will just have to do 30pp of exercise as I assume that is what DP will get me. Thanks littlefish forewarned is forearmed or whatever the phrase is.

mistlethrush welcome. I find propoints easier than the old point system because of the flexibility the weekly points give me, but at the same time I have had to modify my eating habits much more under the new system as carbs are (I think) higher in points value. But then reducing my carbs is no bad thing. I'm 10 weeks in and have lost 16lbs whereas on the old system I would have given up by now having lost about 6lbs.

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 16:51

Piffle - I started on 42 points a day. I'm now down to 35 points a day, having lost just over 3 stone.

mistlethrush · 14/04/2011 16:55

Thanks Claire... how do the 'old' and 'new' points compare - sounds as though you get more points to 'spend' but foods 'cost' more too....

I had to modify what I ate on the old version anyway - I ended up on hte lowest number of points you could have (I have a vague recolection it was 14?) and still had to be careful of the carbs. In fact, my best week or two was when I had breakfast and lunch and then spent the remaining points on wine BlushGrin... Although I realise that didn't really make for a terribly well balanced diet!

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2011 17:01

hmc i wouldnt would love to know the pp of eggs

vnmum sorry you gained, tho i will tomorrow as well (and no moaning from me) as ive been so bad this week

androb well done for sts(esp with pending pesky af)

littlefish you are joking arnt you (about the bunny)

how big is the 200g one?

clb1 sorry for gain but there has been a reason iyswim - its when youve been good and gain :(

and change your pages in mymumnet/customise - i have 100 replies on one page, so generally 10pages to one thread if full

mistelthrush welcome - tbh i think old ww works better for me, loss is slow on new wwpp for me - but for others it works well

piffle depends on sues weight, my friend has 48pp but she needs to lose maybe 8/10 stone

coffee cake did not pass my lips today when out for lunch with my friend

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2011 17:02

mistle on old ww 16 was the lowest allowed, but if on that, then you must have been very slim at the end Grin

OP posts:
Littlefish · 14/04/2011 17:05

Blondes - sadly, I'm not joking.

I got the info first from my group leader, and then from here. It might be quite a useful link to keep so you can refer to it (or not!) on Easter day.

vnmum · 14/04/2011 17:09

hi all, hubby just come back from the shop with mikado's. 4 sticks for 1pp. mmmmm

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2011 17:09

tbh i dont generally eat chocolate or chips so easter sunday doesnt bother me

but i do love a lindt bunny Grin

but will stay away from choccy

unless they made chocolate crisps Grin

OP posts:
Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2011 17:10

are they the biscuit type things with sliver of choc inside?

OP posts:
vnmum · 14/04/2011 17:16

mistlethrush I have done both old and new and i much prefer the new system, mainly because i don't have to starve myself so i can have a meal out or a treat. I was on 18 points on the old system and was hungry alot of the time. The other thing i like about PP is that fruit is now 0pp. On the old system i hardly ate any fruit as didn't want to waste the points IYSWIM

vnmum · 14/04/2011 17:21

mikado's are a thin stick of biscuit coated in choc, they do milk, dark, white or hazelnut. The hazelnut ones taste like they've been dipped in a ferrero rocher. they are also on BOGOF in tesco. they work out as 0pp for up to 3 then the fourth one takes it to 1pp, then it is 1pp until you eat the ninth and then it is 2pp Smile so every 4 is 1pp

vnmum · 14/04/2011 17:23

mikados

Littlefish · 14/04/2011 17:30

Mistlethrush - I agree with mistlethrush on everything she said about old -vs- new WW.

Blondeshavemorefun · 14/04/2011 17:31

so you need to eat 7/8 then for 1pp instead of one more for another pp Grin
