Marking my spot

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 16/03/2011 22:38

marking my spot too! I had some WW mini cookies in my shopping, so that used up my final 2 PP for today - were rather tasty, hadn't had them before!

ClaireDeLoon · 17/03/2011 07:50

Well done benben

We have a Hotel Chocolat dip pack in the house (pot of white choc, pot of plain choc, mini marshmallows, biscuits etc) that was a Christmas present and goes out of date at end of March. To eat or just to bin? No idea how many points it would be. DP diabetic and I don't have a sweet tooth so in a way it would just be calories for the sake of it.

Fernie3 · 17/03/2011 07:51

Hi :) I just started a week ago doing ww online but this first week have actually gained half a pound Shock.
I am breastfeeding my 7.5 month old so I clicked the breastfeeding option on signup and then clicked "breastfeeding with solids " as she has around 5 breastfeeds a day plus 3 meals. It added a load more points to use up etc which I have followed and made sure about the water tick boxes and fruit and veg every day. But it's actually a pretty normal days food, I haven't had to reduce what I eat at all from normal so I suppose it's not surprising that I haven't lost weight!.

I am 12stone 10 and 5 foot 3 so Its not as thought I am just trying to lose a few pounds I have a few stone to go, my doctor has advised me to lose weight as I am only27 and already on medication for high bp etc :(.

I was wondering if I should reduce the number of points a bit - I need to lose weight but I had planned on breastfeeding until she weans so will be a while yet and I don't want to have to give up!

Any advice anyone?!

P.s I can't actually go to the meetings as it would mean dragging my four children with me - not a fun day out !

ClaireDeLoon · 17/03/2011 07:56

Hi Fernie and welcome! I'm not sure about reducing points you eat, you should always aim to eat all your daily points. Try doing (making healthy choices) and not eating your weekly points and see what that does. Can you find a way to increase your exercise? I think most of us do some amount of extra activity now.

NoWayNoHow · 17/03/2011 08:30

Marking my spot! Are we ditching thread 4, or using it till it's full up? blondes are you up for a bit of "got the last post" about 16 times so we can all move here? I'll race you...

Oh, in case you missed it from previous thread, congrats hmc and shoulders and commiserations iona.

Welcome fernie! I would stick to the points given to you if still BF - everyone should eat their dailies, but you don't have to eat your weeklies if your dailies are enough.

I'm still hungover, unsurprisingly.

hmc · 17/03/2011 09:03

Just reserving a seat [slings coat over chair back), see you later

insanemumma · 17/03/2011 09:28

Hi ladies can I join you please.

I have been doing ww since sept and have lost 18 pounds which I am pleased about but it does seem to be coming off painfully slowly. Im hoping with some extra support it may start shifting a bit quicker.:)

Fernie3 · 17/03/2011 09:53

thanks I am going to make some more effort with exercising and hopefully that will help next week.

TimeToStartACHEEKYDiet · 17/03/2011 11:12

Watching :) Just been given link to this thread by HMC on my thread in chat :( Im getting bigger :(

I am 4ft 11 or 5ft depends who measures me and i weigh 10stone which is LOADS for me. I want to go back to 8stone as i felt happier when i weighed that.

ClaireDeLoon · 17/03/2011 11:15

Welcome insanemumma and cheeky :o

ClaireDeLoon · 17/03/2011 11:26

cheeky I just looked at your thread in chat and I second what notyummy says about the 30 day shred, it's only 30 mins including warm up and cool down, works you really hard and there's a great support thread.

Hi all, just popping in with a 2lb loss this week which got me my 3.5 stone award and am now half way through the total I need to loose.

Am celebrating with strawberries and the WW thick cream which is lovely, 30g for 1pp. Am also loving the WW fromage frais which are also 1pp.
