STEPPING IN FOR NORMA

Welcome one and all to our 4th thread

If you're just starting out or you've been following WW for a while and you're looking for support you've come to the right place! :)

There are lots of regulars who are well on their weigh (get it! ) and others who have just joined us - we're a mixed bag,Grin all shapes and sizes and all with different goals to achieve but we're all striving for the same thing. We're all here to will one another on with advice, support and lots of cheering!

Androbbob is our resident stat checker and keeps us motivated by totting up the total weight loss each week. !

We're quite fast moving at times so just dive in - pour yourself a Wine or Brew and make yourself at home :)

Hello all, thought I'd better pop back in here, I seem to have been away for ages.
Well done to HHY, Shoulders and hmc on your excellent losses! And good work to everyone else too
Hope the Pt is still going well Blondes.

Put on half pound last Thurs at weigh-in, have then had a tricky week with a wedding on Fri, then parties for my dd both days at the weekend (she was 3 yesterday) then day out yesterday, and I know I must have used all weeklies and more, haven't been tracking at all. Need a kick up the bum please!!! I know WI tomorrow won't be good.

Really don't want to go off track now before I've gone down into the next stone bracket, it's only a lb away!

Enough about me anyway, what has everyone got planned for meals for the next few days? Seem to be some great recipes on here Smile

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 16/03/2011 21:05

Proper post now as both DDs in bed!

Well done on all the losses this week - seems to be a good week so far!

IHeartIona Start tracking again today. It'll make you feel back on track and get you back in the zone for WI tomorrow. Aim for the following WI and going down that next stone braket, you can do it! (consider yourself kicked.) Grin

To channel hmc some stats for blondes...

Weeklies eaten 0
All dailies eaten
Exercise points - not sure don't count them.
Dedication to accurate tracking 100%! (this might be my new motto!)

Had a nice day today visiting relatives with DD2 and my sister and her DD who was up to visit all our relatives for the first time. As well as lots of cooing over the babies I got lots of nice comments on my weight loss, so feeling v pleased with myself.

Went out for breakfast with my DH after weigh in this morning - had scrambled egg on toast counted it as 9pp - was v yummy indeed.

Had lunch at my Grandparents, some homemade lentil soup (3pp) and half a bread roll with 2 thin slices of ham and tomato (3pp)

Snack of banana and WW toffee bar (I love these!)

Dinner was a prawn stirfry - noodles (6pp) prawns (2pp) loads of stirfry veg, soy sauce and a splash of fish sauce, followed by meringue and a WWFF (2pp)

I have 2pp left and am awaiting my tesco delivery so hoping that I ordered something that I fancy later on!

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2011 21:15

IHeartIona · 16/03/2011 21:21

thanks Blondes for the kick! will try to track what I can for today, will overestimate for things i am not sure about.
prawn stirfry sounds good - I might do one of those for tomorrow dinner after WI, when I need a quick dinner
Well done on the postive comments today! Smile

wizzler · 16/03/2011 21:58

Kicks Iona up the bum... get back on your tracker! You never know though, I bet even while you were scoffing all that food, you were thinking about WW, so it may not be all that bad at WI.

Only 20 points to go "Blondes".. are you going to start your ruthless "end of thread hogging behaviour soon? "

I am sure I saw Androbob on another thread yesterday ( would it have been about education?) so hopefully she is ok.

Norma hope RL is treating you kindly, and you are still inspiring us from afar!

IHeartIona · 16/03/2011 22:02

thanks also Shoulders and wizzler!
perhaps wizzler, fingers crossed and and hold my breath tomorrow night!

hmc · 16/03/2011 22:10

Ah but Blondes - I did STS last week

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2011 23:28

wizzler end of thread hogging Shock I don't know what you are talking about Grin

Morning all. I fell off tracking wagon yesterday too Iona. Today is a new day!

Kid's tea party sent me off track. The mum presented me with a plate of baked potato (with cheese), creamy coleslaw, pasta salad and potato salad and said "I got healthy food in specially for you". Shock Add some birthday cake and a couple of party rings and I think yesterday can count as a bit of a disaster really. Certainly all my weeklies gone anyhow.

Will go for another good walk today to help me along. Hope everyone has a happy healthy day x

NoWayNoHow · 17/03/2011 07:57

Morning from a hungover NoWay's house.

Congrats hmc and shoulders on your losses, and commiserations Iona - I also fell off the tracking wagon yesterday, so how about we both start afresh and get us some BNS soup on the go?! Grin

JoJo THANK YOU for providing some laughs first thing in the morning. PMSL at your "healthy food" - especially the triple carb portion! Was it her way of testing how much pasta and potato one person can eat??

I had rather too much Wine last night - forgot that, for various reasons, it's been a long while since I've had more than a glass in one sitting, and I am feeling the pain this morning after drinking almost a bottle!! Blush

ClaireDeLoon · 17/03/2011 08:41

Congrats secondhandrose Shoulders hhy and hmc on your losses and Iona hope today isn't too bad at your WI good luck with getting back on track.

NoWay hope the hangover passes soon.

Willabywallaby · 17/03/2011 11:31

Morning all. 0.5lb off for me last night. Not too bad considering the person that weighed me last week wrote it down wring and at 1st it looked like a 1.5lb gain.

Hope you're all well.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/03/2011 12:36

jojo lady meant well, but tbh she didnt help and none of that is healthy apart from the jacket minus the cheese - what happened to salad being healthy? Grin

noway oh dear HUNGOVER ARE WE? tee hee :) a BOTTLE you light weight Grin

willa well done for loss :)

iona how was wi, good luck

i confess to 2 slices of garlic bread last night , but only 4pp and im still within weekies just but bet you i wont lose tomorrow
