Well done Littlefish and wizzler - good stuff!

hmc · 16/03/2011 10:59

Oh and well done ClaireDeLoon - nearly missed your 2lbs!

bigTillyMint · 16/03/2011 11:37

Well done all you losers!

hmc your run sound more like "high" or whatever it is for exercise - otherwise how fast would you have to go for it to be "high"?Shock

NoWayNoHow · 16/03/2011 12:11

Hey guys
In a bit of a rush, so will come back later on and do a proper read through, but just a quick question.

Are any of you who are using WW online losing the right part of your plan manager? It's not my computer, as I've lost it both on our laptop and on DH's work netbook. Means I can't see PP values, can't scroll down through search options, can't see "Recently Added" or "Favourites". Really makes eSource not worth having and I'm just quite Angry about it.

Anyone else have the same problem? If so, how did you solve it? I've emailed tech support, but they say it'll take 2-3 working days to get back to me!!!! [Hmm How busy can they be??

Anyway, will try check thread on mobile late (out for the pm now), but any advice gratefully received!

debs39 · 16/03/2011 13:01

Just popped on to say that yesterday was my worst day so far on Propoints....had 2 WW choc brownies when they were still frozen solid!!! and started to edge towards going over daily points by midday ......for first time ever tho I didn't panic and go on full on binge ( where i generally just eat and eat and eat and eat next day's and next day's and next day's calories.....) Think using this thread as a support prop and all the tracking that I see you all doing made me pull myself up sharpish and not do my usual!

Perhaps am really getting in control of this eating malarkey...after 20yrs + of over / under eating and countless tears!!

A big thank-you to you all :)

ClaireDeLoon · 16/03/2011 13:15

NoWay just checked and my Plan Manager is working fine. I'm using IE8.

debs well done for stopping yourself from overeating. Tracking everything really really helps.

JoJoBaldwin · 16/03/2011 13:20

Well done on avoiding the binge Debs. Getting over that inclination to go mad and eat everything in sight just cos you've had one mars bar or whatever is really helpful!

Just had to report my nomnomnom 7pp lunch. Inspired by prawn noodle salad talk yesterday I popped into waitrose on my way back from morning walk in the park today. Reduced thai sweet chilli coated noodles (300g - 6pp) and reduced seafood cocktail (250g - 5pp)caught my eye so thought i would do lunch experiment.

Sauteed half a chopped red onion, added chopped clove of garlic and tsp chopped ginger. Added the seafood cocktail, tsp of fish sauce and tsp of white wine vinegar. (In a wok)
Cooked off for about 2-3 mins, added the noodles, mixed it all up and sprinkled over a bit of chopped coriander. Split between me and hubby.

Amazed at the delicious taste combo I threw together, it was really really delish.

I buy those packets of frozen herbs so throwing something like this together is quite easy as there is always something in the freezer to add flavour. At the moment I have frozen mint, coriander, jalapeno peppers, and ginger in the freezer - soooo helpful at the moment when I am finding stir-fries such a great low pp option.

hmc · 16/03/2011 13:23

Ha debs! - I just have got to my daily points tally. Mini binge on a large (450g) tub of Onken peach biopot yoghurt - who'd have thought it was 15 pps! (eek) .... [its appears to have a lot of added sugar) and fancy doing that on a weigh in day as well! Now up to 28 pp - will have to cash in today's exercise points for a mini dinner this evening. Well done to you though for reigning it in and not going potty yesterday

BigTilly for me to rate it as intense exercise I have to feel like I am about to croak - perhaps I am undercounting exercise pps!

hmc · 16/03/2011 13:24

Am feeling very full though after all that yog - first time I've felt full since November!

SecondhandRose · 16/03/2011 13:42

I have been on WW for 5 weeks and lost 1 stone and half a pound. Feel so proud of myself. Am still overweight with a couple more stone to go.

I have cut bread out nearly completely and it seems to have had a big difference plus portion control.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2011 13:44

afternoon all

well done debs for not going totally over board :)

jojo concoction sounds nice and yes if ready for pt then easy to do - another poo in potty = more choccy :)

OP posts:
HighHeidYin · 16/03/2011 13:59

Afternoon all!

WI last night and lost 3 1/2lbs Shock

Sooo pleased because that takes me over my first 1 stone loss Grin

Total loss 15.5lbs since January!

Jazz class tonight. Learning a routine to greased lightning - so funny. Have to do the chicken dance - I look like a chicken on speed when I do it...

Not that I have seen too many chickens on speed it has to be said.

On the downside my mum's older sister died yesterday Sad Funeral is on Friday so I am taking mum to it. Her sister had been battling cancer for a long time so it wasn't a shock, but it is the first of mum's family to go and that is very upsetting for her.

Anyway, best get on. In the office today and REALLY need to do some work... Be good!

Piffle · 16/03/2011 14:50

I use an iphone app that calculates by GPS how far I walked and how quickly, usually as walking with dd (visually impaired) quite slow, with ds2 in the pram, quite brisk and with dogs (off lead at an amble) on lead brisk...
So I just add up total points at each speed each day
Today I have walked 160 minutes averaging a 20+ minute mile
Says 8 points so that's how I do it.
But I'm not using most of my exercise points...

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2011 15:11

hhy well done on loss. Sorry to hear about Yr aunt :( hope Fridays can go as well as funerals can x

NoWayNoHow · 16/03/2011 15:43

wizzler, littlefish and clairedeloon well done on losses. And claire thanks for tip on IE8 - browser is Google Chrome by default, but have just opened WW up in IE instead and it's working fine!

secondhand that's an average loss of almost 3lbs a week! Well done you!

HHY congrats on your loss, but so sorry to hear about your aunt Sad Hope you and your mum are coping alright.

debs and hmc, I've joined your "I've eaten all my dailies and it's only lunchtime" club Blush Unfortunately, I can't really reign it in today as I'm going to a mate for dinner AND Wine - she's doing WW too, so hopefully whatever she makes won't be too bad, but I sense a good chunk of weeklies going to waste on a Wednesday, which is annoying...

Oh well, nothing massive planned for the weekend, so I shall just suck it up and enjoy myself - no sense moping when you've only yourself to blame! Grin

HighHeidYin · 16/03/2011 16:24

Thanks blondes and noway Smile Am sure we will all be fine on Friday.

secondhand fantastic loss! Puts me to shame!

10 mins before can close the office - am time watching now! Been a quiet day although got loads done. Completed h&s risk assessment, written up a statement and completed the policy. Done fire risk assessment and finally completed and displayed emergency evacuation procedures in the office Blush All takes such a long time and is dull, dull, dull to do but can breathe a big sigh of relief that we are now fully compliant in all aspects of health and safety!! Won't get a hefty time at the next inspection thank goodness.

Just got to work on the end of financial year accounts now

HighHeidYin · 16/03/2011 16:24

hefty fine... not time!

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 16/03/2011 19:32

Just checking in to report another 3.5 lb loss this week! That's 28 lb altogether. Yay [ grin] had to be alert though as the helper who weighed me said 'that's 1.5 lb off' and started to write it down as that. I had to point out her total maths failure and ask for my silver 7 and stone award.Hmm

Piffle · 16/03/2011 19:40

Wow @ 28lbs that's fantastic work!
I have 29 spare points... So thought sod it I'm buying me some beers
Tore into first one then realised I'm doing it for nothing if I pi** all my efforts away
So I'm alternating with water :) trying out moderation!

wizzler · 16/03/2011 19:48

Debs, congratulations on not giving in to the craving.I think thats the hardest thing. I find in moments like that, write the points down in your tracker, it seems to bring it home to me how many points it is possible to waste in a single sitting.

Second Hand Rose well done on getting past a stone. That will spur you on for the next bit!

HHY and Shoulders, fab losses this week Envy. HHY hope the funeral is bearable.

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/03/2011 20:07

well done shoulders @)

That's a lot of walking Piffle!

Well done HHY and Shoulders on your losses - brilliant Smile. Sorry to hear about your Aunt HHY, I hope you are all bearing up okay.

WI tonight and lost 3lbs. Decided to present some stats for Blondes on weeklies etc

Weight lost: 3lb
All dailies used
All weeklies used
26 activity pp's earnt (but I could be underestimating those) and 10 of those spent
Propoints used on alcohol: 21 (taken from weekly allowance)
Dedication to accurate tracking: 100%

Cumulative weight loss is now 36lbs since November

hmc · 16/03/2011 20:25

Blondes only 24 posts left until thread gets to 1000 - are you going to do the honours?

I wonder if NormaSnockers will return and hope she is okay....and haven't seen much of androbbob recently either!
