Hello my lovely stalker!

I can't wait to see your new coat/jacket thing. I bet it will look fab! Thanks for my kick up the arse - you are right, of course!

wizzler · 14/02/2011 19:11

Busy night tonight, and WI tomorrow. A crowd of us from WW are going out for a meal after the meeting,( don't think thats the idea of WW at all.. meet new friends to go and scoff withHmm)

Blondes well done for being first and last! Smile
Norma hope all ok.. we miss you!

bigTillyMint · 14/02/2011 20:07

STS at WI - I have been really good this week, apart from Saturday (but still stayed within weeklies).

God help me next week when we are away skiing!

LittleFriendSusan · 14/02/2011 20:12

Quickly - welcome shinyblackgrape & littlefish - fab that people have noticed your weight loss! Couple of people have said I looked like I'd lost weight so something must be working despite the slow results these last few weeks!

Well I STS at WI tonight :(. Going to try not to touch my weeklies this week and see how it goes - not got any major events so should be OK!

Had gnocchi with roast squash, light mozzarella, pancetta & spinach for tea tonight. Was very yummy and came in at 10PP which I thought was not too bad at all!

WW leader cooked a stir-fry from one of the cookbooks tonight: lots of veg & chicken (was duck in the book) - smelt very nice and very generous portion for only 5PP - might have to give that one a go!

Right I need to get the kids to bed and chill out for a bit - hope the other WI went well!

LittleFriendSusan · 14/02/2011 20:13

BigTillyMint - X posted! Sounds like your week was much the same as mine... I'm sure if I weighed in on a Thurs I'd have lost weight! Mondays are just too close to the weekend!

shinyblackgrape · 14/02/2011 20:23

Thank you all for the welcome Smile!

LFS - that is interesting about the weigh ins near the weekend. I think a Monday weigh in has been a downfall for me before as still carrying lots of bloating/salt weight from the weekend. Get a crap result on the Monday and feel rubbish.

I am thinking of weighing myself this Friday and then making Friday the weigh in day. Hoping that might keep me on the straight and narrow over the weekend!

On the other hand, maybe I just need to stop making excused and Get. A. Grip Grin!

sparkle101 · 14/02/2011 20:26

Quick update from me, lost 2lb at weigh in this week which got me my first stone! I had to stand up to get a little stone and tell people what I have done to get there, luckily class was quite empty what with it being valentine's day!

bluebump · 14/02/2011 20:29

3lbs ON for me this week - a few meals out last week and no willpower.

Aarrrgghh I need to fit into my bikini and be 2 stone lighter in 4 months time! I need a seriously big kick up the arse.

DuplicitousBitch · 14/02/2011 20:53

[kicks blue bump up the arse]

androbbob · 14/02/2011 21:06

Just marking my place - been a busy day as it is DS 4th birthday - my little valentine! Just wathcing Biggest Cheater loser!!

Not even talking about food today - ate too much at the weekend!!

shinyblackgrape · 14/02/2011 21:09

Bloody pissed off as had an M&S Count on Us trifle for dinner with my other carefully pointed food.

It quite clearly said on the label that it was 2.5 points. However, when I added it to the tracker it was 4?!

Can I presume that M&S are using the old system for points?

Are there any other ranges I should watch out for?

I cook most things but thought that M&S might be good for the odd treat

loubloutwinmum · 14/02/2011 21:53

Well done Sparkle & all the other losers! Sorry to anyone who STS or gained! Just back from Zumba, great fun & we just giggled our way through it! Back on Shred tom tho! An hour of Zumba only seems to be 5 points!!! Oh well...

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 14/02/2011 23:35

grape m&s count on us are moving on to pp system, some of the range is already in pp. If it has a half a point on it then it's old school points, as there are no halves in pp. Also will say points rather than propoints. Hope it was tasty!

LoopyLa · 15/02/2011 07:27

Welcome Shiny (is it ok to shorten your name?!!!) You've already made me lol with your posts, so very welcome indeed! Grin

I have made Saturday my WI day as I tend to be very naughty not as strict at weekends & I figure I will burn the crap off through the week...that's my theory anyway!!!!

Hope everyone had a good Valentines day & managed to gain a few "activity" points?!!! Wink

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/02/2011 07:33

had a yummy meal at pizza express last night, just need to pp it now, had a leggy pizza think 14/16, and then calmari and toffee ice cream so will hunt those pp down -

takes a deep breath and begins to type Grin

sweetheart the egg pp seems to have puzzled a few people according to ww chatboards - if you actually weigh an egg you will find its nearer 2pp and often seems the online tracker is wrong :(

vnmum do we get to see a pic of hair and will you be in the magazine?

loopy pmsl at pissing marking your spot - but yes kwym Grin

littlefriendsusan 55pp is good, dont forget i ate/drunk 115 in one day - i also gained 2 lbs that week as well Blush Sad but hell it was worth it Grin but :( you sts as you were within your pp - makes me wonder about the weekies sometimes

noway you will be there now on holiday Envy have a fab time and try not to put on 10lbs like i did Sad

hhy and db shoulders hi

shiney welcome :) tech yes doable if you lose 2lbs every week, but sometimes the wi dont go our way, so def try for 2 stone by june but dont get upset if you dont iyswim - but its a goal in your mind :) and carbs on wwpp are high whether bread/pots/rice/pasta etc

littlefish fab that people are noticing your weight loss and good luck with tomorrows WI

furball well done for smaller size coat

wizzler you know me, i wanted it Grin and friend does the same as you, gets weighed and they all go for fish and chips every week as their treat - good luck with wi tonight

bigtilly :( that you sts as you were within your points, when that happened a few weeks ago i was gutted and pissed off (if you remember!!)

shiney and susan thats why i weigh on a friday,as then if been bad/eaten my weekies etc fri/sat then ive got 5 days to counter balance it, and generally works apart from my 115 day blow out Grin

sparkle yah, well done on loss and your first stone!!!!!! :)

bluebump :( for gain BUT you know why you gained if been bad/out so kicks up butt and wipe the slate clean and start again,if im going out in evening i try and make a huge vat of bns soup and eat that all day

androbbob glad you found us,happy birthday to ds and what did you eat at the weekend? Grin

shiney be beware of food packaging - some still has old p on them and not new pp - roughly if p then double it to get pp if out shopping and no calculator

lou glad you enjoyed zumba

norma hope you feel better soon x

lucky come back and join us x

Lol Blondes, a little TMI maybe? :)

Willabywallaby · 15/02/2011 09:24

Wow Blondes that was a post and a half!

M&S valentines meal was 22pp with new potatoes. scallops, steak and stuffed mushrooms, yummy Grin

sweetheart · 15/02/2011 09:32

Morning all!

Mamoth post blondes Grin it did make me lol though! You have a naughty sense of humor which I like Grin

shiney - hello and congrats on your wedding! I'f say if you know low carbing doesn't work long term for you then don't do it. WW is about changing your eating patterns so your losses are sustainable! You can eat pasta / rice etc on ww - I do and still manage to lose weight.

littlefish - I feel exactly the same as you this week - dreading WI tomorrow even though I haven't been especially bad, I just haven't been really focused and good. Don't think it will be a good week for me either Sad

bigTM - sorry you STS this week. Don't worry too much about skiing after all it is exercise - you'll be racking up the activity points to spend on the apre ski Wink

sparkle - congrats on your 1st stone off. Keep up the good work!

bluebump kick make sure you get right back to it and have a successful week this week lovely x

andro - happy birthday to ds - I seem to know quite a few valentines babies

Have to say I think Friday would be a disaster as a WI day for me - not sure I'd be able to control myself all weekend knowing I had a whole week to undo the damage.

Going to the gym for an extra session today as I feel I will need it to have any success at WI tomorrow. I'm also contemplating having a ready meal week after WI to really reign myself back in.

Good luck for any WI's today, be good everyone Wink

going · 15/02/2011 09:50

Morning ladies,

I managed to keep on track this weekend and feel very pleased about that as it's the first weekend since strating I have managed that! I did however blow it last night with wine and chocolate. Thankfully it didn't show on the scales and as of this morning I lost 3lbs this week. Almost makes up for the sts last week. Have done plenty of exercise at the gym and have really enjoyed it.

Sweetheart and littlefish - keeping my fingers crossed you are pleasently suprised at your next weigh-in.

I count medium eggs as 2pp. I often have 2 for breakfast and find it does sutain me more than a bowl of cereal which can be double the points. As i take xenical eggs are a good option as the tablets remove a fair amount of the fat from them (thankfully without any nasty side effects!)

HighHeidYin · 15/02/2011 09:52

Aaaargh I swear I am going to MURDER dh!!!! Angry Angry

Rushing to the office. bbl

Lorelai · 15/02/2011 09:57

Well done going! I also usually have an egg for breakfast (poached on toast) - was very surprised when I realised it was less pp than special K with skimmed milk Hmm

HHY - don't leave us hanging - what has he done???

abgirl · 15/02/2011 10:07

1lb off this week - which following a pizza night on Sat and an unexpected curry yesterday I am very pleased with - local M&Ss had completely sold out of Valentine's specials by lunchtime yesterday, I was not a happy bunny. Used all weeklies and dailies but no activity points.

This week aiming for 2lbs and to stick to dailies apart from Monday when I am off on a day trip to Boulogne for the day. DS1 has been learning french at infants and we thought it'd be fun for him to have a go at speaking it properlyGrin. I am planning a moules fest so need to have a look at how many points they are.

HHY - what's he been up to?

bigTillyMint · 15/02/2011 10:21

Well done going!

Come on HHY! - what's up?

going · 15/02/2011 10:27

Moules will be low in p, the botter they may be cooked in will not!
