sweetheart · 14/02/2011 15:02

Blondes, following on from last thread, really is 1 egg 2pp???? online it says a 28g whole egg is 1pp.

Well done loub - 2Ibs is brilliant, and DB !ib - well done!

Sadly I fear I am now in the realms of loosing 1Ib a week max but we shall see. Seriously worried this week won't even be that after the weekend I've just had - whoops! Back to it today though Grin

May this be the thread of a thousand losses (or something equally poetic!) Biscuit

sweetheart · 14/02/2011 15:04

Shock blimey - just realised we filled the last thread in 24 days - that's an average of 42 posts a day! fast moving indeed!

vnmum · 14/02/2011 15:15

Marking place, just had all my hair cut off, now got to do my after photos for my success story.

Well done on the losses so far

LoopyLa · 14/02/2011 15:36

Marking my spot too (anyone feel like a dog marking their territory?!)...

Am at home, trying to be good food-wise & crapping myself being proactive & thinking positive thoughts over an interview I have on Friday... Hmm

LittleFriendSusan · 14/02/2011 15:41

Hello ladies :)

Well done to all the losers and good luck to any WI tonight.

Norma - hope you're feeling better soon.

Blondes - thanks for new thread!

Can't remember much else and am at work so should be quick!!

Not feeling very optimistic for tonight's WI... I have stayed within my weekly points though again had a crap Saturday - 55 points Blush. Breakfast 9; Lunch 15 (had tinned mackerel & bagel); Dinner 10 & 21 om snacks etc (chocolate, wine & fruit & nuts). Not great... So I have used all of my weeklies. Feeling very bloated & "bunged up" today which isn't helping. I've had lots of water & fruit hoping it will do the trick but not worked so far... I'll be disappointed if I STS, but gutted if I put on - and that's the way I think it's going to go. Need to get rid of all chocolate out of the house I think - although I've stayed within my points, I think I need to cut it out altogether. And reduce the carbs... ho hum.

NoWayNoHow · 14/02/2011 16:06

Hello ladies!

Ooh, a brand new thread - excellent! Thanks blondes Sorry to hear you've not been well, norma

Well done on all the losses - a lb is still a lb!

Well, I'm depilated, cleansed, blowdried, pedicured and manicured and write to you all from Heathrow T3 with 4 hours to kill before flight. Enjoying the Envy stares from all the other people waiting to use the internet terminal whilst I chat with you lovely people. I guess they must think that if I'm going to sit here for this long, I shoul be working on a solution for world peace at the VERY least! Grin

I shan't be online for the next week, but I just wanted to wish you all much luck for your respective weigh ins, and thank you all so much for being the support network that's enabled me to have enough confidence to get this bod on the beach! Couldn't have lost the lbs I've lost to date just with WW meetings - it's your laughs/ideas/generally kicking up backside that has kept me motivated, so THANK YOU!

I shall be raising a (low PP) cocktail glass to you all this time tomorrow! Wine

HighHeidYin · 14/02/2011 16:12

Ooer lovely new thread! Just marking my place - will bbl!

Lorelai · 14/02/2011 16:36

Sweetheart, according to the app a medium egg is indeed 2 pp, and a large one is 3pp. Not sure how much that is in grams though.

LittleFriendSusan · 14/02/2011 17:02

Sweetheart - just checked the online tracker as I too thought it was 1pp for a medium egg - it actually says 1oz = 28g whole egg, but then if you choose the drop-down box, 1 medium egg = 45g = 2PP and 1 large egg = 65g = 3PP. Misleading though as 28g is obviously not a whole egg as it is listed! Means I've tracked wrong at least twice this last week...

DuplicitousBitch · 14/02/2011 17:34

have a great holiday noway

shinyblackgrape · 14/02/2011 17:58

Oooohh.....I would like to join!

I'm getting married in September and would like to lose three stones before then.

I crash dieted madly before chosing my wedding dress and was seriously panicking that I wouldn't fit any of the dresses when I went to try on. However, managed to stuff myself in to a fair few samples which was actually bad as have totally taken eye of the ball.

I ordered my dress at the weekend and it is being made for me. I am having the toile made in June (12 weeks before the wedding) and would really have liked to have lost 2 stones before then.

Have re-activated my WW account and would really like to lose about 1.5lbs a week.

Do you think this is do-able? I am going to give WW my all this time as I think it will be properly sustainable in the long term. What is panicking me is the thought of repeats of my previous efforts which, in short, were 2lbs off/1lb on/0.5lbs off/fall in to vat of wine in despair/put on 3lbs/cry and give up!

I have lost weight before low-carbing and that does work quite well for me but I just can't stick to it long-term. However, I was thinking that propoints might be good for me as it seems that lean protein is quite low points. I do need to make sure that carbs are not the majority of my meals as this does seem to lead to blood sugar swings.

Anyway, enough rambling Grin. But any tips welcome!

ShouldersBackAndNoBiscuits · 14/02/2011 18:09

Just marking my spot, back later!

Littlefish · 14/02/2011 18:12

Welcome shinyblackgrape. I would say that 2 stone is achievable in 4 months as long as you follow the plan carefully and track everything!.

I'm not feeling very positive about tomorro's weigh in. I really wanted to lose a pound and a half, but think I will be lucky to lose a half! I haven't been really bad at any time, but also, haven't been as good as I could have been either. Lots of little tastes and bites between meals. Sad

On a brighter note, someone came up to me on the playground and commented on how much weight I'd lost Smile

Littlefish · 14/02/2011 18:13

tomorrow's

HighHeidYin · 14/02/2011 18:19

Aaaarghhhhhhh! Just wrote a HUUUGE post replying to each of you and lost the ENTIRE THING Angry Angry Angry

No time retype but basically, well done on losses, all the best for wi's, have a fab holiday and what a lovely post noway , huge welcome shinyblackgrape and agree with littlefish plus exercise will ensure the consistent loss you want, norma hope you are back to full strength soon and rl will allow you to return to the fold...

There. Sorry to be so brief! Got to drop dd4 off at dancing then dash back, collect dd2 and rush to the gym! bbl.

Furball · 14/02/2011 18:21

littlefish - tis me your stalker Wink

Fab stuff about fold now noticing - feel proud Smile

if you do not loose as much as you wish, it will jarr you into super douper mode for at least the next week.

You are human, tis ok to have a wobble (and your wobbles have not been too major in the whole scheme of things - you have kept it together)

Think positive Smile

anyway the sun is shinning and it always makes me want to look slinky.

I bought a really really really nice coat/jacket thing today - I will wear it at our next meet up. It is a size down so I have to knuckle down so I can flaunt actually fit in the darn thing Grin

Furball · 14/02/2011 18:21
