Welcome one and all to our 3rd thread Grin

If you're just starting out or you've been following WW for a while and you're looking for support you've come to the right place!

There are lots of regulars who are well on their weigh (get it! Wink) and others who have just joined us - we're a mixed bag, all shapes and sizes and all with different goals to achieve but we're all striving for the same thing. We're all here to will one another on with advice, support and lots of cheering!

Androbbob is our resident stat checker and keeps us motivated by totting up the total weight loss each week. So far this week we have already lost over 37lbs collectively! I believe in total there has been over a 9 stone loss since the thread started!

We're quite fast moving at times so just dive in and make yourself at home Grin

Afternoon!

Like my shiny new name? Felt it was time for a new me (is gib btw)

Thanks blondes for letting me moan and feel sorry for myself. Much better today!

Well done mumto2, db and futurity! Fab results!

Good for you for getting back on track so quickly going. Any damage caused, IF there is any, will prob be fleeting.

WI for me tomorrow yikes. My scales still showing a lb up but still hopeful that it will be gone by tomorrow.

highheidyin · 31/01/2011 13:07

Oh and well done too starvin!! So brilliant Grin

sweetheart · 31/01/2011 13:20

Hi all,

Well done on all the losses - sorry to hear some of you have had a nightmare weekend.

I'm really sorry not to be more personal in my responses but I'm mad busy at work today and the weekend has passed in a blur (managed to be good though - hooray!) I'm mainly posting because when I clicked on "thread's I'm on" this had gone - shocker!

Anyway - good luck for any more weigh in's and I hope everyone is having a good focused day.

I am out for sil's b'day tonight so I'm going to try and be really good and stay away from the cake. I've only used my daily's again this week and still haven't touched any booze which is unheard of for me!

Take care all
xxx

highheidyin · 31/01/2011 13:33

Well done sweetheart on staying off the booze and keeping with dailys. (It's gib by the way - new name, new me).

I've had VERY little to drink since starting. Apart from one day last weekend Blush which I am probably still paying for...

Sausage casserole for dinner tonight. Is simmering in the slow cooker ready for me getting home. Have used the ww sauce for the first time so will let you know how it tastes.

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/01/2011 13:55

afternoon

i made huge vat of parsnip and apple soup this am, will have for tomorrows lunch - and maybe freeze some, was 10pp as used a lot of parsnip, must be skinny parsnips in future not big fat ones Grin but can get at least 3 bowls out of it so 3pp a bowl

had a very healthy HUGE salad with tin of tuna 4pp and sc lite 1pp and then spinach/lettuce/peppers/toms/cucumber and was yummy

wknden scales sound good :) glad you enjoyed your child free night and also food, yah for weekies :)

noway agree AF can piss off, im suffering this month :( and rarely do and blondes would NEVER judge a girl who is on totm - we NEED the junk!!!!

hope WI goes well and thats why i weigh on a friday, i then can enjoy the weekend and often im out and then be good sun/thur - seems to work with me

mumto2 well done on 2 lb loss, reading ww boards, they all say you should eat your weekies and you will lose weight, but im like you and dont dare to eat all of them, and the one week i did, i sts, tho may have been due to AF

DB well done on 1 lb loss

futurity well done on 3 lbs loss, thats fab!!!! its good when you do lose on your 1st week as motivates you, though have 2 friends who both lost zilch week 1 and 2 and were gutted :(

going it was just a blip and thats what your 49pp are for (apprently) so dont give up, what day do you weigh? would you be better swapping to a friday, weighing, being bad at weekend and then good sun/thur like i do?

vnmum im eating mine as i want NEED chocolate at the moment, bloody AF, shes not welcome ever again at ours lol

starvin well done on 2.2lbs loss :) and hot choc sounds right tho may be more if a big one maybe 6/8, havnt got my eating out guide at hand

highheidy name changes confuse me, well i am blonde Grin but moan anytime :) STOP weighing yourself throughout the week!!!! also sausage casserole sounds yummy, i normally use colemans sauce, what does ww work out to be

sweetheart you are replying to too many threasd then pmsl - good luck tonight at sil and BE GOOD!!!! maybe take a ww cake with you instead so you can munch on that when everyone else is eating a 10pp slice of birthday cake?

loubloutwinmum · 31/01/2011 14:06

Hi all,

Just checking in as should be working so only skimmed through the posts from the weekend. Well done on everyone who has lost. Well I have a 1.5lb loss this week - surprised as just coming to the end of my TOTM and it really seems to effect my weight. So total weight loss since middle of November is
23 lbs Smile

The weekend was quite good - had a family do on Saturday with a lovely buffet and managed to resist most of the "bad" stuff but had a few treats as I still had all of my 49 weeklies. I also had a few G&T's but then had a lower point tea! We went to Pizza Express yesterday and I love their new lighter range of pizza's and mini desserts with a coffee. So with all that I still had 23 weeklies left over! My husband can't believe how much I am eating and still losing weight!

Am determined to do some exercise this week though and see if it makes a difference as only managed a couple of sessions of Just Dance last week.

Made a gorgeous Hungarian Goulash in my slow cooker - 9pp per portion but was a really big portion and was delicious.

Good luck to all who have still got WI to come today or later this week.

sparkle101 · 31/01/2011 14:14

Happy Monday ladies,

Vnmum good luck with moving.

blondes well done on the all you can eat chinese - you showed a lot more restraint than I could have managed!

lucklight well done on the loss and the clothes selling.

Well done on losses to mumto db futurity starvin lou wonder what the loss was in total for last week?

going don't worry! You can get back on the horse, the important thing is you've identified the issue and you know what to do to rectify it, you just need to do it and track track track, save all weeklies for then if needs be!

Loving the new name highheidyin Hope you're feeling better after weekend!

I need a virtual slap in the face (please form an orderly queue). Have been making stupid food choices this week and then working the points out afterwards, even though I know they are mostly bad bad bad! I need to put myself back on track as I have a long way to go. I think I'm still within my points but a not in control... if that makes sense.

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/01/2011 14:35

well done lou

slaps sparkle round face and kicks up bum Grin

loubloutwinmum · 31/01/2011 15:43

Thanks sparkle and blondes

Gets in the queue to slap sparkle - come on, you can get back in control. Sit down and plan out the next few days food and remind yourself how well you've been doing.

I have just ordered the 30 day Shred DVD, will see if I ever take the cellophane off it!!!

Am feeling quite hungry now - only had a light lunch as I was trying to be extra good today as got a work lunch out tomorrow! However, my stomach is making so much noise I am disturbing my colleagues! Think I will make a slice of WW toast in a minute and have a coffee!!!!

futurity · 31/01/2011 16:43

thanks all...am pleased with 3lb...going to try and keep on the straight and narrow as it looks like I may have a poorly child off school tomorrow (lying on sofa being pathetic at the moment)...will try not to comfort eat on his behalf!

Lorelai · 31/01/2011 16:59

Hi all. Sorry I haven't been around but we had a mega busy weekend; DD1's birthday and DD2's christening. I haven't been pointing but have tried to restrain myself a bit; only small portions of cake etc. Still, I am sure I must have used up all my weeklies so will be good for the rest of the week and see what the scales say on weds.

bigTillyMint · 31/01/2011 17:15

Well done to all you losers - Monday's WI sounds like it went well this week!

Off to WI soon, then out for dinner with friends, and still have a few weeklies to add to the 14 left from lunch out with a friend, so should be OK. Anyway, new week tomorrowWink

bluebump · 31/01/2011 17:20

Hello everyone! Well done to all of the losers this week. Weigh in for me today - just a 1lb 1/2. Better than the putting on and sts of the previous 2 weeks, still a bit disappointed but nevermind!

I'm ploughing through the thread looking for low pointed food inspiration now - I can't believe how big the thread has got, lots of inspiring people here.

Lorelai · 31/01/2011 17:41

That's a good loss bluebump, why are you disappointed?

bigTillyMint · 31/01/2011 18:04

Yes, bluebump, fingers crossed I get 1 1/2 tonight!

LeeWT · 31/01/2011 18:09

Hello all (weary wave)

dh had to work allll weekend and leewt is a tired girl looking after the two kids..

Also have a cold so feeling bit miserable. I think there's points in lemsips but I'm ignoring that!

After I told you guys about daily weighing I haven't gone near my scales and I have put them in the cold dark garage!

I have used all my weeklies for the first time so I'm not feeling positive. Also I've used a LOT of them on wotsits, ww biccies etc basically comfort foods so feeling remorseful!

Anyway have ordered 30 day shred and dh has offered to sign me up to a really nice gym - it's one of the DW sports and it has loads of classes (not a treadmill type me) and free powerplates..

Good luck to everyone doing WIs
well done on all the losses
commiserations on those teetering off the wagon but let's jump back on it's not too late!

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/01/2011 18:10

well done bluebump 1.5lbs is a good loss

bluebump · 31/01/2011 18:14

Thanks for the nice words.

I'm only disappointed because I had better and more steady losses on the old system - I have lost 1/2 a stone each month over the previous 4 months and it seems far more sporadic on this new system - first 4lbs which seemed too many, then no loss, then 2lbs on then no loss and thankfully a 1 1/2lb loss.

Anyway I missed a whole week of doing my 30 day shred last week so i've got back on it today and i'm already aching!

sparkle101 · 31/01/2011 20:11

Evening ladies

Quick update post WI. Lost 1 and a half today which takes me to 11lb, but more importantly I got to my 5% weight loss! Was really really pleased (see previous post!) and actually my leader was really nice and asked me loads of questions in front of everyone and I got a round of applause, feel all warm and fuzzy now!

Someone also got to goal today, they lost 27 and a half pounds, she looked great, feel very inspired now!

So next mini goal - get to a stone in the next couple of weeks.

Good luck to anyone having WI tomorrow!

highheidyin · 31/01/2011 20:21

I wrote a HUUUGE post on my phone then deleted it before I posted it grrrrrrrr!

ooooh my class leader has just asked if I'll be a helper at the classes as I'll be great at greeting people Grin She didn't see me last night in the throes of totm despair haha!

I said I would. Will help to keep me attending if nothing else. Don't know what a helper does really but I'm willing to give it a go.

Right, back to rewriting my post again..

blondes your soup sounds DELISH! The sausage casserole was really lovely I'm glad to report. The jar of sauce is only 4pp! So 1 pp if 4 being served which is great.

And am sorry to namechange. I know it's a pain and it really irritates me when others do it Grin But it was long overdue.

And I KNOW I KNOW I should leave the scales alone. But it's just such a hard habit to break after years of weighing myself every day. Perhaps you all ought to line up if you have finished slapping sparkle to beat some sense into me.

Which reminds me... sparkle ENOUGH of the nonsense! Sort yourself out woman! Get a grip and get back on track immediately!

You've been doing really well. You haven't gone off the plan. You've just taken a little diversion. Just make sure you are back on the right road tomorrow Smile

lou well done on losing again. 23lbs total is fantastic! 2 stone mark is just ahead!

futurity sorry that ds is poorly. Step away from the sympathy cookies!

lorelai nice to see you pop in. Hope wi goes well on wednesday.

tilly waiting for your result from wi

bump well done on your loss too! Goodness, this must be the best-losing thread ever! Don't be disappointed - the slower it comes off the more likely it is to stay off.

lee aw you should be getting looked after and pampered atm! Hope you are feeling better soon.

I should follow your advice and chuck my scales in the garage Hmm

Is that everyone? Am NOT typing this all out again!

highheidyin · 31/01/2011 20:23

YAAAAAY sparkle Brill getting 5%! You sound like you are buzzing!

KnittingRocks · 31/01/2011 20:47

Hi everyone, haven't got time to catch up Blush but just wanted to say I have now registered for WW on-line Grin.

I would have preferred to go to a class but couldn't find one at a convenient time locally so have decided to try the on-line option initially and see how I get on.

Well done to all those losers this week - you're inspiring me Grin.

androbbob · 31/01/2011 20:54

EVENING

Lovely day today!

Just updated spreadsheet from last week - total last from last week was 31.5lbs which is 2 stone and 3.5lbs - which is great! The total loss since end Dec is 148lbs - I calculate that to be a whole person has gone!

Keep up the good work ladies and see if we can crack that total this week! WI for me tomorrow - a day early but hopefully a loss! I need norma to post a good loss as we seem to be similar in out weekly losses!!!

Blondeshavemorefun · 31/01/2011 20:57

sparkle yah. Well done on getting 5%

'blondes does twirl in the air'

highheidi 'pokes' no peeking on scales and Congrats on being a helper / you and Norma can compare notes :)

highheidyin · 31/01/2011 21:03

Oooh yes! Forgot Norma was one! Will need to pick her brains...

btw, name not Heidi... is High Heid Yin (because that's what I am) Grin Wink

Though I do love the name Heidi!
