Well done TDW and JAM on sts. Its still good!
TDW Hope the move goes well. It will be sad but hopefully you've got lots to look forward to too Smile
Dinky well done on your loss. Its good you're back into it.

Knotty good going on your loss too! It's rounded up to a lb!

I'm not weighing myself today. I'm one of thos who thinks 'sod it' and eats cake if I out on so its best I avoid it after the week I've had.

I went to the circuit class again yesterday. Its brilliant. Its Jillian multiplied by 10! It was a whole hr of cardio and weights. Although it was tough going, I felt great after it was done. Now if I could do that 4x a week....

I've been having fun looking at the April fools thread in chat. Theres a brilliant one about mumsnet on the BBC and some other really funny ones too. Worth having a look for a laugh.

Hope everyone has a good day!

knottyhair · 01/04/2011 13:31

Oh Shaxx, I've had a look at that thread! Nearly wet myself at the chocolate button story Grin.

carlywurly · 01/04/2011 14:10

hi everyone, weighed in this morning, down to 154lbs - 11st exactly, from 12st 1 in late Jan so am now 9lbs from goal. Am pleased although it's really slow progress now - at most 1lb loss per week. I measured and that was interesting - 3 inches off waist and same off bust! My thighs are catching up slowly Grin

Did the shred twice on level 3 plus 2 runs. Like the sound of those circuits though, Shaxx...

House is full of Easter food - cakes from stall at school, various choccy items. It's taking all my willpower not to go near them, especially the caramel shortbreads.. Salad for tea to compensate for a big sandwich out at lunch!

knottyhair · 01/04/2011 14:22

That's fab carly, brilliant results. Bet you feel good Smile!!

carlywurly · 01/04/2011 14:25

thanks knotty Smile

dinkystinky · 01/04/2011 14:46

Well done carlywurly - great stuff!! Shaxx, I love circuits - its all really hard work but you know you just have to focus on getting through your station and then its onto the next one etc.

knottyhair · 02/04/2011 08:57

Morning all! Early one today as a friend is arriving after lunch for an overnight visit and have to move piles of crap into another room tidy up and go food shopping this morning. Level 2 Shred done, and will ask my friend if she minds laughing at watching me doing Level 3 tomorrow morning. DP watched me this morning whilst eating his hot cross bun (thanks for that) and although he laughed at my impression of a beetroot, he did comment that I'm looking "much trimmer". Soup for lunch of some description, and sausage & bean stew with veg for tea.

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 02/04/2011 09:16

Well done to losers and the sts'ers and everyone in between. I have put on 3/4 of an lb, eek!

But i have new found reason to stay on my diet as i purchased www.pronuptiagrimsby.co.uk/productimages/bridal/SIN/full/4505_SIN_Main_Sales_Full_Front01_39L.jpgthis wedding dress! Its absolutly lovely on and very slimming and its a size 16, with a lace up back. I must add i have not bought the horrid little jacket thing it comes with and that pic dose not do it justice at all imo. So with 5 months 4 weeks and 6 days i better get a shift on.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend.

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 02/04/2011 09:20

think that worked better!

knottyhair · 02/04/2011 09:22

That is stunning, thinbride, absolutely beautiful! What a great reason to stay in the zone Smile.

thedogwalker · 02/04/2011 11:21

Oh Thinbride, that is lovely. Right here we are, we will all help you get to where you want to be, by your wedding day, so lots of support and bum kicking, if required Grin coming your way.

Shaxx · 02/04/2011 11:42

Thinbride! What a gorgeous gorgeous dress!

I think we're all agreed we're going to make darned sure you get the weight loss you want for it. Get ye back into the zone Grin

Knotty you must definitely be looking much trimmer. I think youve done so well so far.

I've had my gym induction this morning so regular trips to the gym for me from now on. I've come to an agreement with dh that I can have Tues, Thurs and Suns and he can have Mon, Wed and Sat.

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 02/04/2011 13:43

Thank you all so much! Im really pleased i have got it sorted now.

Right if its all ok with you lot im going to list what im eating (as exiting as that will be for you) so i can see where im going wrong!

Well so far i have had 2 coffee's and a bowl of home made ministrone soup and 1 slice of bread and smidgen of butter and 1 white chocolate sweet.

Not sure whats for dinner but it might be sausages (grilled black farmers daughter nice ones) and small mash and veggies? But that might change!

no exercise as yet!

fedupofnamechanging · 02/04/2011 17:10

Beautiful dress, thinbride.

Hi all. Have weighed myself this morning and am now 11stone 6.8 pounds, so have lost half a stone since starting this diet. I think I've been doing it for about 4 weeks, but I'm terrible at remembering dates, so it might be a bit more or less than that. I am pleased, but very aware that I have another 2 and a half stone to go!

Have eaten one slice of homemade bread with jam for breakfast and the spiced lemon chicken from the bbc food site for late lunch/early dinner. Dessert was a delmonte raspberry smoothie lolly (84 calories). I really recommend those, they are lovely.

Have done no exercise today, but will try to do my cross trainer later.

Had my beautiful, skinny sister over today. She is out clubbing tonight and has just raided my wardrobe and nicked all my lovely sparkly tops that I can no longer get in to. She looks stunning in them, and I am determined to be thin enough one day to be able to wear stuff like that again.

Hope you are all having a nice weekend.

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 02/04/2011 17:39

Thank you Karma, and at 11st 6 it wont be long before your back in those sparklie tops!

Dinner has taken a different turn so now its grilled sausages, scrambled egg (made with just skimmed milk) grilled bacon with no fat and roasted cherry toms and a slice of toast. Not much in the way of veg there but i will make up for it tomorrow!

I have had 4 small squares of tablet as i made some for my mum and it did not turn out as planned so i had to keep nibbling bits to make sure it was ok (honestly) and i plan to have a wee vodka and diet coke tonight as a treat as i never drink very often all.

At work tomorrow so no lovely mothers day dinner for me, but i will be running around ragged at work so intend to burn a few cals that way.

Hope you all have a fab mothers day.

carlywurly · 02/04/2011 19:28

Thinbride, that is a really lovely dress!! I bet it's beautiful on you.

Have been out in the fresh air all day today, we live by the coast so have had a nice run by the sea. My cheeks are burning this evening Grin

Managed to resist the weekly treat takeaway I usually have, so chuffed about that. Am desperate to get under 11 stone for the first time in 18 months this week.! It's a massive boost to see a new number on the scales.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

dinkystinky · 02/04/2011 21:22

What a gorgeous dress Thinbride - yes do list what you're eating. You NEED to eat structured meals and meal plan to avoid biffing - and to ensure you look as fab as you should do on your wedding day! I think you should also list exercise plans for the week on Monday and report back on Sunday on how you've done - as dieting will deal with the weight but you want to look toned and fab too.

dinkystinky · 02/04/2011 21:24

Ah yes, my intake today - green tea and welsh rarebit (yum) for brunch after training then spa day with friends (massage, facial and manicure - drank lots of water and white tea and one apricot, and a martini at the end), some cassava crisps for snack with water and now having chicken and couscous meal for dinner with some rose wine with DH (who was a star with our boys all day) and MIL.

justaminute · 02/04/2011 21:58

Dinky - exciting stuff about your place being ready to move back into. Are you pleased with the results? I don't envy your next few weeks - good luck.

Thinbride - beautiful dress. Thank you for treating us to a picture. I LOVE weddings! Did you "just know" when you tried it on that it was the one?

Karma & Curly - well done.

Knotty - pat on the back to your dh for noticing your changing shape. I bet it gave you a boost. It's rare for my dh to pass positive comments, he's a man of few words. If I cook a meal which is "OK" or glam up and get told " you look alright" that is high praise!

I'm hoping all your positivity will rub off on me. I've stupidly biffed and not exercised the last two days. I have goals to aim for but I'm struggling to keep motivated. I keep hitting the self destruct buttonSad.

fedupofnamechanging · 02/04/2011 22:42

I have ballsed up my calorie count tonight, by eating a big slice of home made bread and jam. It was lovely though Smile.

Ahh well, back on the diet properly tomorrow

knottyhair · 03/04/2011 09:37

Morning! Happy Mothers Day everyone! Shaxx, good luck at the gym. What do you think you'll do there? Karma, half a stone in 4 weeks is amazing! Carly, well done on resisting the takeaway! Dinky, your spa day sounds lovely. JAM, to be honest, DP is normally like yours. But at least you know when they pay a compliment they mean it! And you CAN get back in the zone, keep in mind how you've felt in the past when you've had a good day. Do it for yourself, as a Mother's Day present Wink. I've just done L3 Shred, watched by 2 adults & 3 kids which was nice. Off to the park with DP, DS, my lovely friend and her DCs. Hope I've worked off the piece of birthday cake (for my friend) that I had yesterday! On another subject, watched Buried last night. Anyone else seen it? Got claustrophobic and panicky just watching it! Have a lovely day xx

dinkystinky · 03/04/2011 18:49

Happy mothers day all - hope you've all had a lovely day. Knotty - wow at the shredding with an audience!

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 04/04/2011 07:15

Morning all, hope you all had a fab mothers day yesterday.

My food consumption yesterday was not good at all as i was at work and very busy but here goes;

breakfast - special k bar
snack - 4 walnunts
Dinner - Morrisons fish pie (it was a full fat one) and a bag of steam fresh veg
Snack - 2 slices of whole meal toast and 6 Milk tray

Today will be better i promise!

Plan is porridge and banana for breakfast and hm soup for lunch and dinner as im at work so will just take some soup with me and some fruit and a yogurt of some kind.

Do any of you have tips on the best arm and back toning exercises i could do? As i need to look good in this dress ladies.
