Hi everyone.
Guitargirl have you measured yourself? I thought the same as Dinky when I read your post - that it must be your waist getting smaller.
Thinbride I'm only a C but I swear by wearing 2 sports bras when running!

Sorry to hear about you pmt/choc craving suffers. Hopefully you'll be back to normal in a couple of days.

I'm going to make some noodle soup tomorrow. I've been having some from Itsu on my working days and they are delish!

I had porridge this morning, a packet of low fat crisps as a snack and left over chinese sweet and sour chicken (home made with hardly any fat) with a bit of rice.
Not sure what to have for dinner as I'm making fish pie tonight but don't want to eat it myself.
Shredded this morning at 7am. Level2 day2. I can't do the double jump rope either and I find those squat with v raises really, really hard! I can't get my arm as high as even Anita!

knottyhair · 09/02/2011 13:24

Shaxx - I found those v raises really hard as well, so I swapped from 1.5kg weights to 1kg just for that move, and I can do them now, although they are bloody hard! Just a suggestion.

Hope all you PMT sufferers feel better soon - it's flipping horrible.

dinkystinky · 09/02/2011 21:18

Aargh - spent all day avoiding cakes at work only to come home to discover our lovely nanny has made slovakian baked goodies in honour of DS2's 2nd birthday tomorrow! Its like the world is out to get me to eat cake today.... I guess at least I got a half hour run in at lunchtime so should have the calories in to have one with a herbal tea...

Shaxx - I love Itsu too. The Salmon-tuna raw salad (small box) and a miso soup is my favourite post work out lunch.

justaminute · 10/02/2011 09:29

Happy birthday to dinkystinky junior.

Eating cake is allowed on birthdays.

knottyhair · 10/02/2011 09:49

Happy Birthday to your DS, Dinky! Hope he has a lovely day.
Just shredded, and managed one and a half sets of squat thrusts - getting there! Turkey salad for lunch today, then salmon and lentils with some broccoli for dinner. Already nervous about weighing in tomorrow. I think I've been good, but you never know! Hoping for at least a pound loss. Booked a table at Pizza Express for Saturday (pre-cinema meal), and I've already looked at the calorie values of the pizzas (I'm so sad). Think I can have a Leggera, and a couple of doughballs. I may have to choose between the dough balls or a glass of wine though! Not bothered about puddings so that's not an issue. Hope everyone has a good biff-free day!

iluvcake · 10/02/2011 10:13

Happy Birthday to dinkystinky's DS! Hope he has a good day!

knotty, I always go for a leggera if I go to pizza express and I think a couple of the salads are quite good to (but without the dressings and the bread sticksSadWink).

The good news for me is I feel 10x better than I did yesterday PMT wise, the bad news is I had a massive biffing session and must have eaten a gazillion calories. Mostly carbs and chocolate, felt sick and bloated last night. I'm just going to draw a line under it, as I've never had PMT like it, it was dreadful, my body must have needed those carbsHmm. justaminute, think you may be ahead of me in the challenge stakes!

Only one more day to weigh in, have a GOOD one everyone.

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 10/02/2011 10:33

Happy birthday Dinkys DS!

Had a run in with 2 chunky choc cookies and a couple of french fancies last night, wish i never as felt like crap after. Went out for a power walk with my friend for about 3 1/2 miles so maybe i burned of half a fancie.

Been good today, have had a yogurt and 2 slices of toast with low fat philly and some wafer thin ham.

Got to now avoid any yummy things at baby group today.

justaminute · 10/02/2011 12:17

Iluvcake ? don?t be too sure that I?m winning. Dh fancied a glass of red last night, I?d just got in from my second couch to 5k run so I thought I?d allow myself a celebratory glass ?silly idea. Once wine hit my brain all good resolve vanished and I had a crème egg AND several digestive biscuits?woops.

Intending to shred and dig out a Davina DVD tonight in penance.

dinkystinky · 10/02/2011 12:40

Thanks guys - DS2 is having a fun morning so far Smile

Got to come into work late as went to watch DS1's reception class assembly this morning so got a good work out in the gym this morning - and period has hit as expected so hopefully the unscheduled chocolate biffing will stop now.

Justaminute - remember, just one small treat - not several - to say well done for your hard work Wink

Shaxx · 10/02/2011 12:48

Happy Birthday to Dinky jnr! Mmm Itsu. I could live off the food there. My fave at the moment is their 7 veg detox soup. At only 190 cals as well. I wish there was one near my home too!

Legarra's are definitely a good choice at Pizza express. Its been a while since I've been to one.

I made fairy cakes with buttercream and strawberries yesterday with ds2 so I had one yesterday then another today! I'll just count it as my treat for the day.

Have shredded this morning too. Good idea about swapping the weights. I did exactly the same as you and it did make a difference.

I'm off to the library this pm to return some books that were due back in September Blush. They're kids books so there are no fines but I may very well be blacklisted or something.
I'm scared.

iluvcake · 10/02/2011 12:54

MMMmmmm! Fairy cakes...

Shaxx, I had a £14 fine the other day at the library. From the age of 5 they are charged, I didn't know that. I'm one of those people that should be banned. My record is a £21 fine and I've also lost a dvd and an audio CDBlush-which also had to be paid for.

Haven't heard of Itsu. Your're all so cosmopolitan and trendyWink.

Shaxx · 10/02/2011 18:45

Sorry for you Iluvcake but that makes me feel better! Thanks Smile
I didn't go in the end as it didn't work out due to something else I was meant to be doing in the area.
I will definitely go tomorrow.

I had a bit if a biffing session this afternoon. I have no idea why i did it. Its totally stupid and a waste. I'm v angry with myself as I sit here all bloated.
I really think I need to drink more water. I'll start upping the water tomorrow and see how it goes.

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 11/02/2011 06:57

Morning all!

Shaxx i biffed yesterday too for no reason at all and felt like a fat pig! Vowed never to do it again as i felt like shit.

Anyhoo on to the weigh i at hand, and i have lost 2 1/4 lb which brings me 13st 12 1/4lb and a total weight loss since the 4th of Jan of 10 1/4 lbs and im over the moon as this is the longest i have continued to lose weight since god knows when.

Sorry to go on but im really pleased and its sprring me on to be extra good this week!

Good luck in the weigh in everyone.

knottyhair · 11/02/2011 07:51

You go on all you like thinbride, that's brilliant! I'm very nervous about weighing in later this morning so fingers crossed. Hope everyone has a good result.

thedogwalker · 11/02/2011 08:02

That is absolutley brilliant Thinbirde, I'm so chuffed for you. Keep it up girl and before you know it, you will be a thinbride not just trying to get out. Well done {grin]

Well I've lost 1 lb, which is what I hoped to achieve. So I am now 10 st 4 lbs, which means I have now officially lost all of the baby weight, (DS will be 25 weeks tomorrow).

I am really glad I started using that food focus, it does exactly what it says on the tin.

Good luck everyone for weigh in.

OP posts:
Guitargirl · 11/02/2011 09:46

Well done thinbride - that's a brilliant loss!

thedogwalker - very impressive that you are already at your pre-pregnancy weight so soon! I wish I could say the same and DS is 2!!

I have lost 0.5lbs - serves me right for biffing all last weekend and drinking too much wine in the week.

My goal this week is to get through the weekend without biffing! Am sure it will make a difference. Don't know what it is but I get to Saturday afternoon and all this rubbish food starts calling me...

I had a day off shredding yesterday as I felt absolutely knackered. Still do to be honest but have to get back to it today. Good luck everyone else for their weigh-ins!

knottyhair · 11/02/2011 09:51

Well done, TDW, and Guitargirl on your losses! Brilliant! I've lost 0.75lb, which I have to tell myself is going in the right direction and only 0.25lb off what I wanted, but I still feel a bit "oh". I've shredded every day except for one, and I'm always within my calorie allowance for the day, usually with around 100 to spare. Haven't cheated once, and I've been weighing everything. I even altered my weight on the tracker after my initial loss to lower my calorie allowance. I am due to have my thyroid levels re-assessed (I'm on thyroxine for underactive thyroid), so maybe my system is a bit sluggish? Oh well, onwards and upwards! Good luck everyone!

Shaxx · 11/02/2011 09:54

Well done thinbride! Go on as much as you like. Its very inspirational.

TDW I'm v impressed that your baby is only 25 weeks and you've lost all the weight already!
My youngest is 3yrs and I've still 1 stone to lose (I had put on 3 and lost 2)

Good luck Knotty.

Well I had a sts again!
I deserve that as I wasn't exactly that good and had about 3 days where I relaxed a bit.
I need to be more strict dammit.
At least I've got back into exercising this past week so I'll properly focus on the food this week.
I'm off on holiday for half term. It will be nice to get rid of my muffin top by then.
I know I can do it in a week by cutting down on the carbs as I've done it before.
I'm going self catering with my slim sister so I'm not expecting to really gain weight on holiday either Smile

Guitargirl · 11/02/2011 09:55

Well done knottyhair, I know what you mean as I was a little disappointed too. Am finding level 2 shred so difficult that I think am expecting it to work miracles! But just think how gutted you would be if you had put that amount on and think how much those smaller amounts will add up over, let's say, 3 months.

Last year my Mum was losing a pound a week whilst I was losing 3.5. BUT she has managed to keep the weight off and looks great now whereas I have put it all back on again!

Shaxx · 11/02/2011 09:56

X posts Knotty. Well done with your loss.
How many cals are you on?
Good luck with your thyroid assessment.

Shaxx · 11/02/2011 09:59

Lol cross posts with guitargirl too!
I'm such a slow typer!
Well done on losing 0.5. Its great.
I have problems with weekends too. I am not going to biff this weekend.
Three meals and fruit for snacks.

knottyhair · 11/02/2011 10:01

Thanks for the encouragement girls! I do feel a bit better, as I've just worked out I've lost 7lbs in 3 weeks, so if I try to look at it like that... Shaxx, I'm on 1443, and I'm usually anywhere between 70 and 130 under at the end of the day.

knottyhair · 11/02/2011 10:07

Sorry Shaxx, meant to say well done on your STS x

Shaxx · 11/02/2011 10:19

When you put it like thatknotty - 7lbs in 3 weeks - then I think you're doing great Smile
Weight always fluctuates a bit.
See how you go over the next couple of weeks.
You're doing brilliantly!

thinbridewaitingtogetout · 11/02/2011 10:25

Well done everyone on the losses and welldone shaxx for STS.
