Welcome one and all - if you're following the new WW ProPoints plan then this is the thread for you!

Whether you need to lose a little or a lot you'll be right at home, we're friendly, supportive and we're all in the same boat!

androbb is our resident stats checker and helps to track what we've lost as a thread so far, nothing more motivating then seeing just how much weight is coming off.

Feel free to dive in and join us Grin

Hi all, well i stayed thr same at WI yesterday but I was lucky not to gain seen as I ate an extra weeks worth of weekly points. I am going to try and not eat my weeklies this week in case it catches up with me.

Well done on all the losses and welcome newbies.

I won't be shredding today as I started with D and V last night and currently can't get off sofa and am trying to keep water down. There may be a good side to it though in that I might get a good loss next week, but I am feeling crap

NormaSknockers · 21/01/2011 09:26

Well done for STS vnmum but boooo to the D&V you poor thing, hope it doesn't last too long and you feel better soon.

Morning everyone,

I managed to do it - went to ask and had no pudding! Feel on top of the world - bit sad really. Really enjoyed aqua aerobics too so all looking good here,

Well done blondes that is excellent

Really inspired by willi mention of woman who lost 108lb in 15 months. Puts my 85lb into perspective and makes me feel happier about what I could achieve in the 6 months till I am maid of honour.

Norma just looked at your pics you look amazing! Well done!

NormaSknockers · 21/01/2011 09:35

Yay well done Sparkle that's brilliant, so you should feel on top of the world not sad at all!

Well done to all the losers, and those that have stayed the same, sorry I'm rubbish at remembering people's names..

On my own tonight and fancy a ready meal. Anyone got any recommendations for an M&S one and know the propoints value?

Stuck to my points yesterday but feeling hungry today. We always have biscuits at work, there is currently a cake on the go. Will have to try a banana to curb the rumbling tummy!

NormaSknockers · 21/01/2011 09:45

I'm not sure on the new M&S meals Willaby but I always liked the chicken taglitelle, used to be 5.5 so I guess it would be about 9/10 now.

I've got to pop out and might not be back on 'til later as we're moving quite quickly we'll probably have reached the end of the thread by then so I've started the new one here if we could try and finish this one first that would be great, could always mark your place on the new one then finish off here and go back?

Don't worry if not Grin

sweetheart · 21/01/2011 10:01

Morning!

What does finish this thread mean? Confused

Right, I haven't gone right back and noted down everyone, appologies!

Well done to everyone who lost weight.

vnmum - sorry your feeling so ill, hope it passes quickly for you.
Sparkle - woohoo - doesn't it feel great to be in control! Well Done you - your now my inspiration for my 2 meals out later this month!

Right, For those of you with a bit more to loose I've been having some thoughts. I think it's feasible to say it's possibly to do 7Ib in 3 weeks so maybe you could work some mini goals based on that.

I also wanted to share that a few years ago I was up to 14 Stone, that was at my heaviest. I used ww to lose 4 Stone and I had maintained that for about 4 years until recently when I put on 1.5Stone. I have learnt enough lessons to know that I had to take myself in hand and that is why I'm back on ww now.

So lovely ladies - the moral of the story is that it IS possible to lose the weight and maintain the lose AND reign your self in if things go a bit pear shaped (quite literally in my case) Grin

Anyway, have a good day everyone. Weekends are my downfall so hoping to find the strength to be super good this weekend.

gibbberish · 21/01/2011 10:09

Morning Grin

Yay it's Friday!!!!!

lobsters half a pound after feeling ill is brill! Am sure you will make that half stone by next week.

blondes yaaay for the half stone!

Oh all these losses brings a tear of joy to my eye. Sniff.

vnmum sorry to hear you are feeling so bad. Hope you recover really soon. Nasty bugs going around atm.

sparkles you are doing fantastically well. Enjoy that on top of the world feeling as you deserve it.

I'm feeling goooood today, infact ridiculously positive (can you tell?). Don't know why really, just have this faint, sneaking feeling that I can actually do it this time. I just don't feel that I am 'on a diet' atall, don't feel deprived or hungry in any way.

I was a little peckish last night because I had a hectic day and didn't eat enough, so had two strips of chocolate. was still within my points.

dd3 is still sore norma (thanks for asking), but she managed to get some sleep last night so is much happier this morning. She has pains in her side now but I think that's due to her having to sleep in an odd position to support her neck. But she does seem to be on the mend Smile

Going to stick dinner in the slow cooker, do the house and get ready for going into the office this afternoon. dh is now feeling rough and thinks he has a chest infection so he is staying at home with the girls and I will be running the office.

bbl. Have a lovely day!

gibbberish · 21/01/2011 10:11

Lovely positive post sweetheart Smile

Re ending the thread, once a thread gets to around 1000 messages it 'closes' and you cannot post any longer on it and have to start a new one.

froot · 21/01/2011 10:26

Level 2 shred aaaaaaaaaaaargh ........ Am off to tk maxx to buy some 2 lb weights . Impossible with 5 lb ers !!!

LeeWT · 21/01/2011 10:32

I'd like to join in with gibberish, sparkle, Norma and sweetheart in saying that I too feel the most positive about losing weight than I ever have.

I noticed (Norma you prob know this) that in order to be a ww leader you have to have a bmi of between 20-25 and for me that means for me a further five stone off. Usually that would daunt me because I only ever lose a stone or two before putting it back on BUT-

  • I am 31, do I really want to be overweight and unhappy with my weight for the rest of my life? NO
  • I have two gorgeous kids, do I really want to be unfit or an embarrassment to them? NO
  • I have lots of fabulously slim close friends, do I really want to head into old age always feeling like the fat one? NO
  • do I feel deprived or on a restricted diet? NO
  • Do I finally think I can actually do this and be happy?YES!!!

Thanks for all the support on here which has really helped me and sorry for cheerleading post but I feel very BRING IT ON!! :-D

sweetheart · 21/01/2011 11:05

ahhh all these bright and bubble posts are giving me a lump in my throat!

Gibberish - I can actually hear your positive and happy tone in your post, I read it with a smile Grin

Lee - I once heard (not sure from where) that you should make any goals positive reinforcement ones.......I can't think of an example right now - ekkk!

Your sound great though - all fantastic reasons to shed some weight amongst friends Grin

StarvingMarvin · 21/01/2011 11:29

Morning all, Well done on all the losses! And thank you for all the birthday wishes! I had a lovely day and stayed on points, also went out yesterday for lunch and was really good. I dipped into my weekly points for a couple of glasses of wine last night, but am amazed how quickly I have got used to cutting down the amount I am eating- I was so greedy before!

I am finding the shred slightly easier every time I do it and did a 7 mile walk this morning so am desperately hoping for another good loss on Monday!

Blondeshavemorefun · 21/01/2011 11:43

vnmum sorry you have D&V :( hope you feel better soon and yes maybe your loss will be big this week Grin
