Welcome one and all - if you're following the new WW ProPoints plan then this is the thread for you!

Whether you need to lose a little or a lot you'll be right at home, we're friendly, supportive and we're all in the same boat!

androbb is our resident stats checker and helps to track what we've lost as a thread so far, nothing more motivating then seeing just how much weight is coming off.

Feel free to dive in and join us Grin

Afternoon all!

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Still glowing today! Oh and measured this morning and have lost 7cm so feeling very determined. Onwards and downwards!

Welcome secretwishes. It's a really good plan, very easy to fit into your everday life and I too love that fruit is free!

lucky that was a lovely inspiring post. You would make a great leader!

Well, today has been rather eventful. dd3 (11yo) woke up and 5.30am screaming at the top of her voice. She had twisted her neck in bed and found she couldnt move it. She was in terrible pain despite us giving her paracetemol and putting heat on it.

So had to take her down to casualty. We sat for 2 3/4 hrs before she was finally seen Hmm and the whole time she was crying and crying with the pain Sad Finally got out 4 hours after going in.

So she has damaged a ligament and has been given strong meds to take away the pain. She finally conked out on the couch when we got home and had a good sleep. But her neck is still very painful poor thing.

Needless to say my plans to exercise today have flown out the window!

vnmum · 19/01/2011 17:42

evening all,

welcome secretwishes
Norma I could try the local evening one first as DH will probably be around for at least a few weeks after we move so he would just have to do bath and bed for the kids. The only disheartening thing with the evening meeting is that i will weigh about 2lbs heavier as i normally WI in the morning and don't eat breakfast before i go so i would look like i've gained the first time i go.

Androbob well done on the loss and fingers crossed for next week

hmc I did level 2 today for the first time as my last chance workout and yes it is definately harder than level 1. I think level 1 is like a break you in gently thing then the proper stuff starts in level 2. I was dripping when i finished and had to have a few 5 second breathers during the last cardio. Not quite sure if i'm keeping my bum low enough in the plank exercises but i will aim to perfect it. The ab work was a killer too compared to level 1 and i can't help thinking that it is with level 2 and 3 that you will see the good results. I did 20 min zumba afterwards but didn't have the strength or energy to do it at the same intensity as usual. I feel surprisingly good for doing it though, jillian rocks!

vnmum · 19/01/2011 17:44

As i have WI in the morning I am having a low carb tea to see if that makes a difference. Everyone is having fish and chips(homemade) but instead of chips i am having butternut squash chips.mmmm

sparkle101 · 19/01/2011 17:55

Thanks ladies for your supporting words, am back on the wagon and I will get there. WI is not until Monday so going to do super amounts of exercise before then and see if I can escape the pud! Not going to have pudding tomorrow, worked out what I'm having points wise and what I can have for the rest of the day.

Thanks again!

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/01/2011 18:57

gibberish owwwwwww for your dd :(

Welcome secret wishes

sweetheart · 19/01/2011 19:41

welcome secret

gibberish - ohhh your poor dd! I know how painful ligament damage is, poor little mite!

Well I've been to wi and lost 2.5Ibs - woohoo, that's 0.5Ib more than my mini goal for this week. So that's 5.5 in total. Mini goal for next week is to loose 1.5 so I get my 1st half stone. If I can lose 3Ib that would take me to 5% and 11Stone but I think 3Ib's might be wishful thinking.

Lorelai · 19/01/2011 19:47

Hi all. Sorry I haven't been around for a while. Hope everyone is well.

Had my WI today and have lost 4.5 lbs :)

StarvingMarvin · 19/01/2011 19:48

Evening all! Thank you for birthday wishes. I have had a lovely day and have managed to be really good! Had a high points lunch but balanced with a free salad for dinner with just a small bit of extra light mayo. I have "budgeted" for 3 glasses of wine, half way through the first now! I only had to dip in to my weeklies for a very small slice of choc cake. I feel really pleased that I've had a good day, with some lovely treats and still managed to stay within the points.

Hello secretwishes Welcome, I have only recently joined WW and this thread and am enjoying both!

sparkle Glad you have your mojo back!

StarvingMarvin · 19/01/2011 19:49

Wow sweetheart and Lorelai Well done!

siucra · 19/01/2011 19:50

Hi,
Have been doing WW since before christmas and was losing lots of weight - so was v excited and focussed. Now (I live in Ireland and PP has only just been introduced), it has all slowed down... I don't have much to lose (only half a stone) but have plateaued! Eeeek. Went out today and ate a huge and v sweet carrot cake served with cream!
It was kind of falling off before but now, even though I am doing everything 'right', this diet is not working. I am on day 24 of the Shred... could that have something to do with it? My dreams of losing my love handles and flabby belly are fading fast (unlike me).
God, I sound vacuous.
Am now eating grapes to undo the cake... a case of locking the stable door!

wizzler · 19/01/2011 19:59

Well done Lucky..I can't remember the last time I was 9 stone anything, your post really motivated me.
Gibberish, best wishes to DD, sounds like a nightmare. Maybe your worry for her and irritation at the wait might speed up your metabolism and you will lose even more weight!
Vnmum I know what you mean about the meetings, but I am more honest with my tracker if I know I am going to one even if its not my normal one, and if you can't get to a meeting,of course you still have usSmile.

benbenandme · 19/01/2011 19:59

2nd weigh-in tonight and I have lost 2lbs, making a total to date of 5.5lbs Grin
I'm aiming for another 1.5lbs next week to take me to the first half stone.
Well done to everyone else on some great weigh-ins again this week!

dearprudence · 19/01/2011 20:10

Hello everyone. I joined WW today - I will confess I haven't read all 800 posts but have looked through the last few - lots of successes I see.

Do I gather that some of you are shredding as well?

I have gained 4 stone over the past 18 months Hmm Angry Blush so have at least this to lose.

gibbberish · 19/01/2011 20:47

Ooooh well done on all the losses!!

sparkles glad you are back on track again. It's a hard thing to do but sounds like you have the determination to get over your tiny blip.

Thanks for all your kind words about dd1. wizzler haha! If I lose half a stone this week you will know why!

Dd3 still in a lot of pain and the worst thing is that she can't seem to find a comfy position. Have given her her meds so hoping that will help her sleep.

Forced myself to go to the gym tonight - first time in about a year. Was dreading it. But absolutely loved it! Burned 350 cals at least yay!

Going to flake out in front of the telly. Have a good night everyone Smile

gibbberish · 19/01/2011 20:50

That was meant to be dd3 not dd1. Nowt up with dd1 except a disgusting bedroom and teen attitude.

wizzler · 19/01/2011 20:55

Gibberish.. my DD1 has a teen attitude too, but she is only 4!

hmc · 19/01/2011 20:56

3lb off for me tonight - so have now lost 23lbs since beginning of November and got my 10% off key ring Grin

Well done androbbob, sweetheart, lorelai and benben on your losses - can't wait for the end of week stats to see how much we have shifted this time!

Welcome new peeps - hope your first week goes off to a flying start

gibb - your poor dd, hope she feels better soon.

Vnmum - hell knows what level 3 has in store for us (am in no rush to find out)!!!

Righto - off for a glass of post weigh in wine

hmc · 19/01/2011 20:57

Forgot to say - good on you gibb for hitting the gym!

androbbob · 19/01/2011 21:10

Well done on the losses - just updated the spreadsheet and we are upto 37lbs lost so far this week with still quite a number of WI's still to report back later in the week - it is amazing!

Norma - have sent you a PM Wink

Short and sweet tonight - trying to cut sown on tome on PC as spend farrrrrrr toooooo long surfing these days! Need to get active - got 2lbs to lose to get my stone next week - that is my goal!!

Keep up the good work ladies - it is well worth it!

gibbberish · 19/01/2011 21:27

Oh dear wizzler Grin Mind you, maybe she is getting the teen attitude out of the way and by the time she is actually a teen she will be an absolute delight!

Thanks hmc. Am feeling positively angelic tonight - can you see my halo?

37lbs loss is incredible Shock

Got 3pps left and am feeling hungry. Off to make myself some ryvitas and extra light phili (fantastic suggestion!).

gibbberish · 19/01/2011 21:30

Oh and well done benben and welcome dearprudence.

There are a few doing the shred. I'd love to but have a problem with my shoulder so wouldnt be a good idea unfortunately.

LeeWT · 19/01/2011 21:41

Hi all and welcome newbies (agus failte romhat de siucra!)

well I was pleasantly surprised to be 1.5lbs down at WI tonight which is 11lbs off in total and 3 away from my stone target - I am determined to exercise loads this week in case I might get it all off in one week!! I was really good this week so hoping that will stand me in good stead next week.

Instead of a takeaway I had a name your own baguette (10!!!!!), chicken tikka, mayo, and loads oven chips. I had 30 weekly pp left and I thought why not have a blowout that isn't deep friEd.. It was yum..

Our leader is such an eejit god love her, she doesn't listen to anyone and tonight kept saying genetic brands instead of gEneric.. Twas quite funny!

Good luck for other WIs and well done to all the Losers!! :-)
