Here is the new thread for us to achieve success in Xmas Smile

Old thread is here

I'll change my name to my "Christmas" one after Saturday: I'm helping to organise the Scottish Mumsnet Christmas meet-up and it might confuse things if I change my name.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2011 15:10

how can a baked pot and tuna be 8 if the potato is 8 on its own and tuna is 2? Hmm

bebejones · 10/01/2011 16:16

3rd one 2moro, but you can only get supplement from Tescos or WHSmiths. Hmm They have a coupon in paper so if you get paper somewhere else you can take coupon to a Tesco or Smiths to get the supplement. I could try scanning it for you & emailing it?! Although I'm not 100% how the scanner works!! Confused

It says (re spud):
Bake a 200g(7oz) potato & top with a small can of tuna in spring water (drained), mixed with a chopped spring onion, 1tbsp low-fat mayonaise & 2 tbsp of canned, drained sweetcorn. Scatter 20g(1/2oz) of half-fat Cheddar cheese on top.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2011 17:49

fuck me you get cheese as well for 8pp

'blondes faints'

excuse my french Grin

but they say in the new shopping guide a jacket is 8pp

why only whs and tesco - grrr

Well done Smokin' :o

Blondes - I shall try & scan it to email it to you. The meals look good & if I can collect all 4 that's a fair few meals already planned out & totalled up IYSWIM? You had the 1st one didn't you?

Not that I'm planning on doing WW but it would probably work out well with my calorie counting. And if DH goes to WW with his brother then I'll already have some ideas up my sleeve! :o

bebejones · 10/01/2011 18:33

Maybe it's the size of the spud that makes the difference? Hmm

RatherBeOnThePiste · 10/01/2011 21:20

I am feeling virtuous.
I ran in the wild and windy weather!
Time for cake.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/01/2011 23:43

Thanks Bebe :)

Fab weight loss smokin - well done

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/01/2011 06:32

4lbs is amazing smokin!!

bebejones · 11/01/2011 08:54

Blondes, have emailed it to you, have a feeling it might be rather a large file Confused fingers crossed it works!

GettinTrimmer · 11/01/2011 08:58

Smokin, that is a brilliant loss Smile

After I've cleared up I am going out for a walk/run, walk/run.

Piste - how far are you going atm?

Did anybody see the Biggest Loser last night?

Smalline · 11/01/2011 10:10

Smokin, 4lbs! fab loss, well done.

I watched the biggest loser last night Trimmer made me feel quite slim actuallyGrin

bebejones · 11/01/2011 10:21

I watched Glee!! :o DH won't 'allow' weight loss programmes (sticking his head in the sand) & I wouldn't get time to watch it in the day! :(

I am food focusing again. 138cals so far, not bad going! Even though I've only put on a few lbs since I stopped using it it's still really depressing to see the line on the graph shoot upwards!

Had hideous nightmares all night so not feeling tip top today!

smalline I missed the start and was doing other things at the same time (not really concentrating), but some of them lost a stone in a week?!! I am going to watch the first half on iplayer.

Hope you get a rest while little one's asleep bebe. I foodfocused on Sunday, didn't do it yesterday, but did better with my food.

I'm coming to the conclusion I'm not too great at anything structured and better off healthy eating and portion control.

So far, had beans on toast for breakfast which has filled me up till lunchtime.

laughalot · 11/01/2011 11:21

Morning

Special k for breakfast, and just had some soup for lunch with a slice of bread and a satsuma.

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/01/2011 14:15

afternoon :)

got email - thanks bebe :)

had a quick look and will study tonight when baby is asleep

intrigued what the deleted message was .....

as i seem to say every day im still not convinced about new wwpp and their HUGE amount of pp per food item Hmm

but will see what the scales say on friday

having 29pp a day trying to have

breakie 5
lunch 12
tea 12

3 bonus pp every day for monster munch - 8 is not enough for my tummy :( and even if i snack on fruit and have eaten tons then surely cant be good for me ....

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/01/2011 14:32

I saw it briefly and it was an advert for some rl weight loss classes. Thought it a bit Hmm anyway us slinks are amazing without classes!

RatherBeOnThePiste · 11/01/2011 14:37

GT - at the moment I'm doing a combination of running interspersed with walking and it goes for 30 mins but with a warm up and cool down fast walk at either end.

May go in daylight hours tomorrow! Gasp.

DD watched Glee. I love silent witness. I love those weight loss programmes though because I am waif like in comparison.

smokinaces · 11/01/2011 18:13

I missed Biggest Loser - but found one tomorrow night on Livingit at 9pm so will catch that. Biggest Loser UK starts tonight at 9 on ITV, shame its Davina McCall, but hey Grin

Thank you all for you congrats, feel very happy and motivated at the moment. Long may it continue!!

Ratherbeonthepiste - daylight running?!! go you!

Found some Quorn burgers in the freezer so had them tonight with WW cheese, tomato ketchup, red onion, small baps and low sugar beans. Was quite filling, very quick to cook after work and felt a little bit naughty even though it wasnt! Going to bike it through Biggest Loser tonight if I am still awake - exercising at 6am and then working all day is shattering me!

Is food focus that website where you put everything you eat into? or a plan?

smokinaces · 11/01/2011 18:22

Ok, ignore me got it all arse about tit! shows how bloody tired I am!!

Tonight on Livingit is Biggest Loser US. Last night was Biggest Loser which thankfully my sky planner recorded.

I feel so tired I'm in another world!!

Murtette · 11/01/2011 22:23

I'm always worried when I watch Biggest Loser that one of the people is going to collapse and die. I couldn't believe they made them cycle 13 miles on day one when they're that unfit. What's Biggest Loser USA like? I have visions of the contestants being fatter and the trainers being even more aggressive.

Quite a good day here food wise, probably because I was out for much of it and so couldn't graze. I even have a couple of pp left over. I think I'm going to try and stick to 5pp for breakfast, 8 or less for lunch, 4 for my hot choc and snacks and the rest for dinner.

I had to go and buy a new suit and work coat today as there's no way I could get into my pre-preg stuff. Life will be much cheaper when I can get back into my old clothes!

GettinTrimmer · 11/01/2011 23:03

I was thinking that about Biggest Loser Murtette, after doing no exercise and already having a massive strain on the heart it's got to be dangerous Hmm The lady who understandably collapsed with a bad knee was told off!

It was a good feeling when I got into my old summer clothes.

bebejones · 12/01/2011 07:38

I am in pain & feeling sorry for myself! Rather embarrassingly got my foot caught in my cardigan & as I stood up from my chair last night fell with my entire bodyweight on my knee & headbutted the floor! :( In front of DH, DD & BIL! Blush DD howled & was terrified which made me feel even worse! Felt like such an idiot! Knee went pretty much black immediately & is still a very fetching shade of purple this morning!

Going to have porrige made with skimmed milk with half banana, half apple & a sprinkling of sultanas for breakfast. Is in one of the WW supplements & is apparently 5pp...for those who want to know. Might just add a pinch of cinnamon too! :o

RatherBeOnThePiste · 12/01/2011 07:52

Bebejones - you poor thing, I expect you could have done with out that!

Bloody Ow &
Bloody Blush
double whammy

I am going running in the daylight today because from after school until bedtime on a Wednesday is full on for us so there won't be an opportunity.
