Mickey - thats fab. After how many days?
Im resisting the urge to measure. I can see a difference, i can feel a difference. But im going to wait until the end of 10 days.

Pinky- good luck :)

I think im going to stick with doing it first thing, i might not do it at 6am tomorrow, seeing as its a weekend, but maybe 7.

Im actually finding her motivating. esp when she says for years we have been told to just take the stairs or something and thats sending a false message of lethargy.
I think shes right. Before starting this i walked, every day for 45 mins at quite a fast pace, and swam once a week, a mile and a half. Have done this for years. Am i thin and fit? am i fuck. Im a stone and a half overweight.
I dont eat crap. I dont eat anything processed. I only drink water. ( my only downfalls were chocolate and cheese) but everything was full of veg and homecooked.

The problem, was not enough of the right kind of exercise, and no motivation to do it.

Im still in awe of those people on biggest loser as well. But if they can get motivated to lose a SERIOUS amount of weight, if they can take on that challenge and not give up, then sure as hell i can.

despite my mother telling me i cant, and my sister laughing, and my collegues telling me its faddy and stupid.

25 days to go. And then i start it over again with heavier weights, following natalie.

Pinkytinky · 26/11/2010 10:09

No more days off for me that was a killer!

Pinkytinky · 26/11/2010 10:11

And red - ignore your mum and sis you are doing brilliantly. Personally I have a love / hate relationship with killian.

redderthanred · 26/11/2010 10:20

was it really bad to just have two days off?

ha - its partly fear of it being bad and not having the motivation to restart thats making me keep going.

I cannot go through the hell which was the first 3 days again.

Well done for doing it though, what time you doing it tomorrow?

Pinkytinky · 26/11/2010 12:13

It was harder. I was starting to feel like I was improving but today I felt really unfit and much like going back to day one again. I may just be a bit or a wuss though!

I reckon it'll be 8.30 / 9.00 for me in the morning. Definitley no more than one day off from now on!

Does it make you hungry? I'm famished.

mummyshreddingnora · 26/11/2010 12:40

Just a questions - everyone seems to be counting down to a day when they are going up to level 2 or whatever... is that just a time scale you have decided or did I miss something?!

redderthanred · 26/11/2010 12:47

i think most people do ten days at each level.
or - if you are super fit, move up them quicker.

Pinky - nope, not hungrier. Am following a strick 1200 cals a day. Low carb. I think ther exercising is making it easier to stick too as well. because if im getting up early and putting in all that effort, then im not going to ruin it by eating a massive plate of cheese topped pasta am i.

acebaby · 26/11/2010 12:50

mummyshreddingnora Grin I think ace is probably taken. Should probably upgrade myself to acetoddler, or maybe acepita. ACE is DS2's initials (and a rich source of user names!)

I am feeling less sore today (Day 4), but I expect I will have stiff arms later Sad.

I will try level 2 after 10 days (10 days for each level). But if it is too hard, I'll definitely be back to level 1!

NicknameInUse · 26/11/2010 13:09

Day 4 done. Smile

Took some motivation to get started, had a hectic morning. But finding I'm pushing myself more into the moves. I'm actually starting to be able to do the (girly) push ups and those devilish cycle sit up thingies properly!

...still nowhere near ready to move upto Level 2 yet though! Grin

NicknameInUse · 26/11/2010 13:16

Oh oh! Also got my food shop in with lots of nice healthy things to entice me to eat properly through the day.

ARGH! Just done day one Level 1

Found the cardio fine (I exercise aerobically a reasonable amount) but the arm exercises! The push ups!

How long did you all do level 1 for?

Cyb · 26/11/2010 13:40

Ok jut read thread! And seen about 10 dayish

Might try and get up early and do this every morning....

chocoholic · 26/11/2010 14:35

Finished day 10 (day 3 on level 2).
Really tough going today, finished in a sweaty heap on the floor.
Found myself screaming at Killian to shut up.

Very happy and proud of myself for managing 10 days though.
Forgot to measure to start with but I might for the next 10 days just so I can see if anything is changing.

Well done Cyb for doing day 1. Smile

SpareRoomSleeper · 26/11/2010 14:47

micky - well done ! keep up the good work and reports, they are inspiring me! what day are you on?

Well, I am happy to report myself, that on day 4 today which Ive just done, and I was much less sore!
Although I still think Im going to faint after ten minutes of it - I do manage to pull through somehow. Grin

Im also eating healthier because damn it if im going to ruin all this hard work !

MickyLee · 26/11/2010 17:42

Everyone is doing really well and the Sread Thread is sooo keeping me going.

I have lost in 7 workouts over 9 days.

Sugarmuppet · 26/11/2010 19:00

mummyshreddingnora · 26/11/2010 19:24

same here muppet!!!

Did all of the 2nd / 3rd circuits with just one 5 second break in the evil bicycle crunches - of which I have managed about 2 before today! Shock

Still struggling with the strength part of the first circuit, which kills me for the cardio on that one - but getting so much better - still going with the 1kg weights too... and dare I say it - I think I could manage my heavier ones for a couple of excercises! Confused eeek!

Well done Dandy!

Sugarmuppet · 26/11/2010 19:43

Woohooo Nora!

How good are we all? (Do you think I will still be saying that in 26 days?!)

Heathcliffscathy · 26/11/2010 19:47

mummyshreddingnora · 26/11/2010 19:51

Sugarmuppet · 26/11/2010 19:54

Yes Nora have patience! (But I swear I had to pull up my jeans a little bit today a few times walking round doing bloody Christmas shopping!)

As long as you are still breathing sophable your doing GREAT! Grin

I think I am more energetic too? I have just cleaned the kitchen while making dinner. Mmmmmmm steak and salad!

mummyshreddingnora · 26/11/2010 20:09

you are being good with food too!

I want pizza Confused.... might make some oven chips as a compromise!

mummyshreddingnora · 26/11/2010 20:18

couldn't resist - I have lost inches!!!!! Shock

0.5 from legs, waist, bust and arms!
1.5 from hips!

woooooooooo hooooooooooo
