When you all measure your waists, do you do this before eating, like first thing in the morning? Because it will obviously affect your measurements :)

mummyshreddingnora · 29/11/2010 12:36

doitdoitdoit virgo!

ShittyBangBang · 29/11/2010 13:42

Started this toady, well, I say started, I just got past the warm up when ds started kicking off. How are you meant to do it with two toddlers that do not nap????

mummyshreddingnora · 29/11/2010 13:46

I do it when mine are in bed!

acebaby · 29/11/2010 13:51

morning all - I also do my shredding when the DCs are in bed. DS2 (2.6yo) is a brilliant mimic and I can't face my grunts and groans being echoed (and repeated at pre-school the next day Blush)

NicknameInUse · 29/11/2010 13:55

Day 6 done! Decided I'd give myself a break yesterday but by 5pm I have itchy feet and just had to do it! I'm ashamed - I can't live without Killian!

Today was good, really enjoyed it. My shins are really hurting though because I did all of the skipping things rather than replacing half with bum kicks - they're mean!

Measuring day tomorrow! Am really excited after seeing the amazing results you've had! Well done!
Melon I'll be doing mine at the same time in the day for consistancy (first thing in the morning for the smallest possible measurement! Grin)

ShittyBangBang · 29/11/2010 14:29

Right, will start when dc's are in bed. Have taken my measurements Blush

MickyLee · 29/11/2010 14:30

I do mine while DS is having his nap. The only problem with that is my housework is suffering (usually do housework during nap time too) Just need to find a way to fit it all in.

I went for an hours fast pace walk today so havn't managed to shred yet. Going to do it once dc are in bed for the night.

Aching today in new muscles so pleased about that too.

offtopooatpaulshouse · 29/11/2010 14:34

Just did day 1. About halfway through I thought I might pass out, but by then end was feeling better. Deffo need heavier weights - tinned beans and spaghetti don't quite cut it!

Slobbadan · 29/11/2010 14:36

I have been doing mine just after kids have breakie, but the school is off today bacause of snow so im just going to do it after school run. Also my 2 just join in (they are 2.5 and 5.5) they love it!

ShittyBangBang · 29/11/2010 14:47

My ds thought I was playing horsies when I got down to do press ups!

mummyshreddingnora · 29/11/2010 15:39

dd joined in the one time I did it during the day too! She is like a mini killian...kept yelling her instructions 'don't phone it in mummy!'
'mummy thats silly! ' Grin

MickyLee · 29/11/2010 16:00

shitty Haha funny name Grin Mine do the same. And place toys on my stomach during sit ups, and run under my legs while doing anything standing.

Sugarmuppet · 29/11/2010 16:59

Shedding early tonight, about to do it now. Complete with my new weights - 1.2kg, 1l robinsons orange juice bottles. Grin

Will be doing it in front of DD, she is in her jumperoo so that will keep her quit for 20mins and she can bounce with me!

redderthanred · 29/11/2010 17:24

People at work ( all two of them) said today that i looked like id dropped 10lbs over the weekend.

I told them id only lost two, but gave them my 6 day inch loss and i dont think they believed me.

But its great to know that after only one week people are noticing.

MickyLee · 29/11/2010 17:40

redder Bet you do look like you have lost 10lbs though with all those inches gone. Stop thinking so much about weight because you are building muscle mass and that weighs more than the fat that you have lost.

DilysPrice · 29/11/2010 17:41

Well I'm back on the shredding train after a week off with nasty cold / visitors and everyone's half way through a new thread - go you.
I'd previously done 6 days of level 1 and one of level 2 and I took the reckless decision to go straight back onto level 2 (low impact variations, wussy weights) which was hell, but did not actually kill me, so I win.

Wish me luck for this evening's sesh, I have a rather racy party frock to wear on Friday, so I've got a lot of catching up to do in a hurry.

MickyLee · 29/11/2010 18:09

Welcome back dilysprice I'm about to jump into this evening shred too :)

Sugarmuppet · 29/11/2010 18:15

I have got my first shredding related injury. Sad

But day 6 done!

MickyLee · 29/11/2010 18:45

Day 10 done.. really put everything into it and didn't stop once including the proper push ups!!!!! so so proud

MickyLee · 29/11/2010 18:46

sugar what happened? :(

ThatVikRinA22 · 29/11/2010 18:50

day 2 for me....thought id try and split the levels equally....does that sound about right?

MickyLee · 29/11/2010 18:57

I started on Level 1 for about 6 days and not I just spilt them. Most are doing one level at a time for 10 days each. I find I get bored of the same thing every day though.

mummyshreddingnora · 29/11/2010 19:24

day 7 done (muppet have you lost count? or have I?!?)

so for me - I think I did well! I found it hard to stay motivated tonight, but killian carried me through it! Only bit I missed was in circuit 1 - the second lot of jumping jacks - because of my calves after the jump rope again! But I was able to do the 2nd jump rope - just! Finding myself doing the harder / deeper movements more often than not now which is fab - I was grunting like a tennis player mind! Grin

Muppet - what injury do you have?!

welcome newbies!

vicarinatutu - you just move up a level when you get comfortable with the current one - my logic is get comfortable, increase weight, make movement harder (follow natalie) then increase level... I will probably go to level 2 tomorrow or the next day.

Sugarmuppet · 29/11/2010 19:47

ooops yes! Day 7! Time flies when your having fun! (or it could be the blood loss....)

It was more of a post shedding injury. In the shower. Stood on DH's razor. Ouch. Have taken most of the skin off my heel and its still bleeding and it hurts. :( Have got a job interview tomorrow don't fancy squeezing it into my high heels.

Anyway, welcome newbies and well done oldies Grin
