Thanks for the encouragement. Going to stick to it but introduce more veg. 3 more weeks and I face the biggest challenge of all...a whole weeks holiday!

zaazaa · 13/10/2010 10:35

lottie, do you exercise?

zaazaa · 13/10/2010 10:40

I weighed in at 3/4lb lighter today despite salty back bacon and protein bar with 9% fat yesterday but the other signs of the hormonal surge are there right now, my bosoms are seriously sore and look like they are a size bigger but I compensated by being able to move my belt in by a notch this morning. It is a tigh fit still but I couldn't even do that this time last week! Hooray! Grin

robin I think as long as you are good most of the time, it doesn't matter too much and it is a holiday Smile

lottie my friend lost a lot of weight after her last baby and she used shea butter for her skin, she said it really helped her to tighten everything up despite having a pretty bad post-baby jellybelly.

zaazaa · 13/10/2010 10:41

coca how are you doing?

PandaBear · 13/10/2010 12:36

Morning ladies - well finally decided to get back on the scales after my bingey weekend and 2 days of attack, and was surprised to find that I'm another 1lb down - so that's 18lbs in all. God bless Monsieur Dukan Smile

CrapSuzette · 13/10/2010 13:23

Hello all!
Zaazaa - I always eat more just before a period. Can't remember where I read it, but apparently you use 20% more cals the week before a period (but that may be just wishful thinking on my part - and an excuse to eat more!).
On day 2 of being back in the attack phase again. Feeling a bit yuck, but otherwise OK. Am determined to reach my target weight for Christmas!
Hope everyone has a Dukan good day! Smile

zaazaa · 13/10/2010 14:25

hey CS, thanks for letting me know, it is a reassuring bit of info as i have stuffed myself like a pig!

Good for you going back to attack and you Pandabear Well done to both Grin

I have some loose skin - particularly around armpits! Confused dh says he does not notice - but can't work out if he is just trying to be kind.

On positive note, have lost the 2lbs that put on over the weekend so feeling pleased with myself.

Hallowe'en/firework name change - hope you can work out who I am Grin

orienteerer · 13/10/2010 21:53

Arghhhhh, on day 3 of attack and just given in to a large glass of red wineBlush........ho hummm, let's see what the scales say tomorrow (was 4lbs after 2 days!) Hmm

zaazaa · 14/10/2010 11:45

lottie sounds like you definitely have your hands full! How about yoga? It is relaxing too Smile

I am down 0.5lbs this morning so in two days have gone up and back down by 2.5lbs without cheating! Bizarre! If I can drop a pound then that will be the lowest weight I have been for about 5 years!

orienteer I had a couple of little cheats like a pot of Onken full fat yoghurt and a protein bar that had 9% fat and sugar in it and it didn't do too much damage.

Apart from that, I have followed the diet religiously but the weight hasn't dropped off as promised but it is a slow and steady loss. Perhaps I need to up my exercise...

Well done for losing the two pounds explosive

Right FINALLY I've shrunk a little. Now down to 11st 5lbs with 6lbs to loose. Dr D is right about my target weight. I tried on my old trousers last night and I can get them on but they are too neat in places.
So after all my dispair and gloom I thought I'd let you all know that you were right about keeping going. Such was my enthusism, I even did Dr D's exercises in bed last night and this morning!!!
Now I've got to stay focused over the weekend and not succumb to a single glass of wine and get rid of the rest of this weight.
How's everyone else?
Anyone in consolidation and finding it's working?

Dukandoit · 15/10/2010 09:50

Still here but with guests and lunches out slowing things down. But another half a pound down to new low so I'm very happy. 10 pounds down now and determined to stay with the diet until I've lost a stone.

Well done to all Dukan soldiers.

robin3 keep going. I was stuck at a ridge but had encouragement from others on this thread, then dropped 1 1/2 pounds very quickly.

x post with robin3

inspookexplosive · 15/10/2010 09:55

Hi robin well done for sticking at it.

I have been doing consolidation since the beginning of September and am actually now 3 lbs lighter than I was at the start of stage 3 Confused so a 45lb loss in total Grin

I thought I put on a few pounds after a weekend of excess, but have lost it again, plus another 1lb so must really have been water retention.

In my very humble opinion, this diet is the best thing since sliced bread!

Smile at londonlottie

Yes, the drops are a nice surprise but the ridges frustrating.

Confused
inspookexplosive · 15/10/2010 11:07

lottie have a wonderful weekend - at least you won't have to try too hard to resist airline food Smile

Bring jumpers though - London is bloody freezing at the moment!

SnowieBear · 15/10/2010 12:57

Getting to the end of my second week in consolidation and I second explosive's comments. Got to my target weight of 9st 6lbs on a Wednesday, so decided to stay on cruise for the rest of that week and start consolidation properly on a Monday. On Monday I was 9st 4lbs!

However, things got curioser and curiouser... mid first week of consolidation, and after having had my first weekly portion of carbs since mid-July I climbed on the scales again for a check - 9st 2lbs Shock.

Had celebration meal over the weekend (pizza followed by brownies with choc icecream, so that all the family could join in, we went out) and have carried on on consolidation. Weighted myself today and 9st 2lbs is holding.

Best thing since sliced bread this diet, explosive is right!

orienteerer · 15/10/2010 13:25

Random question - I can't find any mention of broccoli in Dr D's book. Is it OK on the Cruise phase?

SnowieBear · 15/10/2010 13:44

Yes, broccoli is OK for cruise ("little trees" as DS calls the florets Grin)

robin3 · 15/10/2010 13:55

Loving the consolidation info....so snowie/explosive...do you still feel like you're on a diet? Are you eating the daily extras like bread and cheese? Is it difficult to do the PP day or not?
