lottie I can't believe how much weight you have lost and kept off, well done. Hope your mojo comes back soon but still wow!!

greenfig well done on the loss. I am finding I stagnate at the weekend too and then suddenly drop a couple of pounds in a few days odd! Wishing you under 10stone vibes to get you through the week.

DD wishing you a good week to get to the 70kgs. I am sure you will look great this weekend.

Welcome shinybaubles pegsonthemistletoe and bonnyb hope you are finding attack not too bad. I felt awful the first few days as I think my carbladen body was wondering what on earth had happened.

No loss for me today, but I am feeling much thinner, clothese are looser and the 1bs I dropped the last few days are still off. My stats tell me it was 3lbs last week Smile. I tend to plateau I think then suddenly drop. P day today, porridge for brekkie and scrambled eggs and smoked salmon for lunch.

Thank you for the warm welcome !

Had a great start today had a nice ''protein salad'' for lunch . Prawns, Salmon Flakes, Crab sticks and Chicken with a bit of soy sauce & pickled ginger on the side.

I love sushis & japanese stuff so these type of condiments makes it feel like a treat!

Had 2 vanilla Activias as snacks- those are okay aren't they ?

Lots and lots of water and coffee too Smile

bonnyb1 · 29/11/2010 21:36

Hi everyone - had a lovely dinner fri, seafood mix cooked in wine, lemon, black pepper and a low cal stock cube. Tried a crab stick for the 1st time on weekend though - eurgh! food of the devil. Really wanted to like them as they looked so handy to snack on.
Weighed myself this morning and have put 0.5lb on, that makes 2.5lb in total, so felt a bit flat, because I have been really good. Also have been looking forward to my 1st cruise day and having some veg but it was a bit of a letdown (DH cooked - bless him he tried but will leave more specific instructions in future).
Oh well, onwards and upwards! Not hard to follow at new job today as was only me and one other person and she is on lighter life which looked very paltry!
What do people snack on apart from yoghurts?Smile

shinybaubles · 30/11/2010 08:43

Hi everyone well today is day 1 - yikes, have had 2 eggs and a slice of ham for breakfast - missing my nutella smeared toast. Forgot to take the yolks out so probably not the best start.

londonlottie he's great but got a cold which I have caught, and ds1 is beyond excited at the snow.

Weighed in at a massive 81.5kilos this morning Blush Sad definately time to do something about it.

Can I ask is anyone doing the bed exercises,or the cold showers?
Bonnyb1 maybe you'll have one of those sudden wooshes and loose a few pounds in one go.

Hi all, finally some snow yippee! Had an early start from 2 v excited children, hoping for just a bit more so we can sledge. No loss for me today & can't face a 2nd day of pp for some reason. Well done to all of you in 'the zone'. No cold showers & exercises for me, hot bubble baths & drinking cold water is nearest I get!
bonnieb cottage cheese & ham as snacks?
I also like the sushi thing potm & often have sm mackerel w pickled ginger & wasabi. I put myself off a bit the day it got warm when I was busy working, not so good then!

zaazaa · 30/11/2010 12:21

For the newbies try this website for Dukan friendly recipes - www.mydukandiet.com

I am trying out the Vietnamese Beef tonight Grin

My attack stage zeal was cruelly curbed by being invited around to dinner where the hostess had made homemade pizza individually for everyone so unfortunately i wasn't able to refuse without looking churlish so today is back at attack stage proper.

You guys are all doing so well.

Snowie, maybe increase your portions a little to stop the weight loss now? But envious of your position Wink

zaazaa · 30/11/2010 12:24

bonnyb no booze allowed on the diet ......yet Wink

zaazaa · 30/11/2010 12:29

greenfig don't worry, I am with you girlfriend! I too lose weight slowly but surely on this diet but once I am in the zone I am OK. I tried other diets and gained so this is the only one that has consistently worked. I too have occasions and friends who don't 'get it' so just stay strong and think of how lovely you will look and feel. I think in theory sometimes folks are pleased you are losing weight and improving yourself but in practice they feel a bit jealous when they see you succeeding!

You go girl!

SnowieBear · 30/11/2010 13:19

Hi zaazaa - portions are OK and sometimes gargantuan, definitely not starving myself... I really think I won't lose anymore, but very surprised I did end up 8lbs lighter than expected!

Vietnamese Beef sounds yum!

Been doing some thinking - as I'm due to move to phase 2 of consolidation by 20th December, I am starting this week until then on "phase 1 1/2" Grin. Basically, I'll move to either two servings of carbs a week, or two celebration meals. A bit of a half way house before Christmas is here and I start on two portions of carbs and two celebration meals.

londonlottie amazing progress, well done you!

zaazaa · 30/11/2010 15:23

Snowie, think you are amazing and really inspired me! I shall definitely keep going and how lovely to know that you will be able to push the boat out a bit for Christmas Grin

Lottie you too, reading your posts helps me enormously Wink

greenfig · 30/11/2010 15:55

I'll second that zaazaaSmile
I feel so enthused with even the smallest drop but SO despondant when there's no change or worse it goes up, that's when the posts keep me on the right track, it makes a big difference. Haven't yet managed exercise today & now babes home & almost dark so no doubt tomorrow will also be bad result Sad

cairns · 30/11/2010 17:12

Keepgoing greenfig you are so nearly at the magic 10stone. I have quite a few days with no change or slight gains and then suddenly it drops, bizarre you just need to keep at it when that happens.

Will check out that website zaazaa thanks for that vietanamese beef sounds yummy.
Keep it up all of you on attack. Re crabsticks I don't mind them but it does depend on the variety some I have found are foul. I don't tend to snack on yoghurts as I prefer then as puds and don't like to have more than 2 in a day. Roast chicken is a great snack for me too.

No change here today but had comments from some random people who said I was looking great, so it must be getting more obvious. Dh also said I was doing great last night ( very rare from him) so definately more motivated at the mo to keep at it. Not long till Xmas.

shinybaubles · 30/11/2010 18:28

So my first day on attack, thankfully have a cold and really not feeling too hungry. Have drunk large amounts of water. Have not been craving any of the bad stuff but very jealous of my ds who is 4 and demanded a bowl full of tomatoes to snack on - could have scoffed the lot.
not feeling like I have lost any weight yet,but I guess it's early days.
I agree with Cairns re the crabsticks, some are ok but some are not great.

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 30/11/2010 18:38

Hi - may I join in?
Lost 2 stone on my own version of this in abou 6 months, but put back on half a stone, so now 9.5 stone and hoping to get back down to 9. The Dukan website calculated me at 9.5, but this is too bulky for me, feel best when down @ 9.
Don't really like sweets/cakes etc, but my downfall is cheese, and as others have said, boredom @ work tempts me to eat crisps... and I do like a drink or several.
Tomorrow start the attach phase in earnest - big party to go to on the 18th, and the rdress requires thos pounds off Grin

WildistheWind · 01/12/2010 09:23

Cheese has been my downfall too- I love it way too much !

Today is day 3 of attack-

I weighed myself for the first time this morning and I have lost 5 pounds!

I'm just very determined to get to the end of this week and get a good result once I'm back on cruise- We had already planned one dinner with ILs and one lunch with friends this weekend so I will have to do both on PV but will do 2 or 3 days of PP next week to repair any setback. Smile

shinybaubles · 01/12/2010 09:31

Oh Pegs I am so jealous about your fab weight loss that was quick. Today is day 2 for me, and I find myself desperate for some fruit and veg. Have stuck to the diet I really hope it works for me.
It's me wedding in 21 days Sad

WildistheWind · 01/12/2010 09:48

shiney you can do it !

I thought Day 2 was easier than day one and today I'm feeling fine.

I miss my fruits too

I have stuck to Salmon-Tuna & Chicken so far and it seems to work.

shinybaubles · 01/12/2010 11:14

Thanks Pegs for the encouragement I am determined to do this. Although very difficult at the moment as we are celebrating Sinterklass from now for a week or so, so lots of yummy things around.

Freybybaby · 01/12/2010 13:11

Day 3 for me lost 4 1/2 pounds so determined to keep going - not had a poo though since started and finding it hard to think of things to eat Hmm

Needing help here as my chub needs to go before Christmas !!
