Well done divadoll and welcome back prudencepie it was lovely to read your post.

Well I stayed the same during the mil visit which I kind if expected but got on the wagon again this week and have dropped 1.5 lbs in 2 days, quite easily, iam now at my pre ds2 weight! I love dukan. I love the porridge, I have finished off the pumpkin soup on my pv days and had yummy chicken casserole last night, which was the same as everyone else was eating (minus the rice) worked a treat. Why oh why have a never discovered vanilla muller lights with choc sprinkles before

divadoll · 04/11/2010 08:47

Is there any way a thread can be added seperate to this one with all the Dukan recipes on it? Trying to read through all the posts to find these is a hell of a job!!

PP you are an inspiration!

DD Good for you and welcome!

My diet resistant body weighed in at 13st 3.5lbs this morning but it is going d-o-w-n! Hurrah! I am also starting to get some shape back around my middle and need to go and buy new jeans as mine are hanging off me and I am afraid I might be showing 'builders cleavage' if I bend down! Blush

Back in the zone. Bring it on!

zaazaa · 05/11/2010 14:39

Lottie well done for getting back on track!

divadoll · 06/11/2010 08:07

73.2 today so not much of a loss but still a loss. Gonna be a hard one as its a year to the day I lost my partner in a car crash, so hoping to take the kids out for some fireworks and keep away from the comfort food tonight.

Damn...didnt lose any this weekend. Actually went up to 73.5 so am only Ikg down for the week :( Hope to do better this week as have a great night out in 2 weeks and 2kg lighter will make a big difference to those trousers I aim to wear ;)

cairns · 08/11/2010 10:03

Me too no weight loss here either, I think I have plateaued. Although, it can't have been helped by the (rare) night out I had with DH on Friday - thai food (i still tried to be good) and wine consumed. Although I am firmly back on now. Also did a 30min run last night and Sat night so aiming to shift this plateau. I really want to shift 2kg in 2 weeks too!

On a positive, I had a long overdue wardrobe sort out yesterday to put away summer stuff and find all the winter stuff and was amazed at how loose some of my old stuff is, and even fitting into some even older smaller stuff.

lottie well done for getting back on track, it is not easy when you are worrying about the little ones.

Yay 73.1 this morning so it is coming off again. Going in to work today (I work from home) so am trying to be good by taking cooked chicken, boiled eggs and a yogurt so as to not get tempted along the way. I havent had to do myself a packed lunch in years!! Just had my bran porrige this morning and getting that first cup of tea out of the way before I set off....

PandaBear · 10/11/2010 07:59

Lottie - you know what it's like - the pounds will start shifting again soon! Don't give up. Like you I've had a couple of weeks were i've not been very good - then been really good and stayed the same. This morning, I weighed and it's started moving again. Now down 23lbs - so dead chuffed.

divadoll - congratulations on the weight loss so far.

Never!!

cairns · 10/11/2010 23:26

Nope all going ok here, moved of the plateau and now at lowest weight , shifted 1kg this am, bizarre . Am still finding it reasonably easy during the day , I just need to think harder about the evenings and what dh can eat too , feel quite virtous at the mo as have avoided all offered cakes , biccies and chocs the last few days, my thought process was although I have plateaued at least I won't let it go back on.

Although dh and I have our 1st weekend away minus kids for 3.5yrs this weekend , will try to be good but willfocus on not gaining.

divadoll · 11/11/2010 07:20

No movement yesterday but now down to 72.4 this morning, so a smiley day Smile

PandaBear · 11/11/2010 07:57

Lottie I still want to lose at least another stone. I too have a mini-target in that I'd like to lose another 8lbs before Christmas - going to be difficult though, Christmas party season starts from next week for me!!!!!

I've now reached the weight I always plateau at - so I'm not expecting any satisfying weight loss for the next couple of weeks! But I will not give in!!!!!!

Well done divadoll and cairns on your loss - keep going, it'll all be worth it in the end Grin

greenfig · 11/11/2010 09:34

Hi, really inspiring chat, would love to join. I started 3 weeks ago, 20lbs to lose, 7 lost so far, so am interested to see Cairns progress as we seem to be on a similar path! Also encouraging to hear from those on consolidation, it is all worthwhile!
Have been mostly strict, treated myself to a glass of red wine last night (post parent eve!) & up a lb this am. So unfair! Have prob not done as much exercise as I should so room for improvement....

divadoll · 11/11/2010 11:08

I have 20lbs to lose too as I want to get under that magic 10 stone barrier that has been the bane of my life since children. Now that I am exercising 4-5 times a week there should be no excuse to consolidate at that weight, but I aim to have a tummy tuck done next year once I reach that goal as a reward to myself and an incentive to keep it all nice and trim
