Thanks for the sympathy, wont get to doc's tomorrow and will prob be ok by monday, but will try to get an appointment next week as even though it did not hurt i could still feel a twinge now and again from when i first hurt it.

been uber good this week but i have weighed myself everyday (i know i shouldnt) and i was down 2.5lb on tue, then up a 1lb from origional weight yest now down 1/2lb from last week so really dont know whats going on...tomorrow will tell.

Shaxx · 25/11/2010 21:36

Oh no poor you Slobbadan! Get better soon!

I've had a 'picky' afternoon and evening. I chomped on a bit more muffin (just a bit!) had some snack a jacks, fruit and 1/2 a pot of ambrosia low fat rice pudding (which was hot and yummy) and a bit of dh's sandwich.
I didn't feel like having dinner but I think I've made up for it!

I'm having a herbal tea now. Its so cold here!

Slobbadan · 26/11/2010 07:02

I AM FINALLY IN THE ZONE AND CAN ACTUALY REPORT LOSS!!!!! Woo hoo!

ok hysteria over, i have lost 2lb!

Was 14st 5lb
Now 14st 3lb

(i know its not a lot compared to most of you but im pleased and im NOT going to biff this weekend!

Good luck everyone, i think we will all have a loss this week.

dinkystinky · 26/11/2010 08:42

V good Slobbadan - and good that the ubergoodness has shown on the scales.

Have sts'ed this week but not surprised as v little exercise and v sedentary due to aggressive resting back - will be focusing on zoning for loss next week.

thedogwalker · 26/11/2010 08:47

Well done Slobbadan, 2lbs is a lot, it is a healthy weekly weight loss, congratulations Grin

well I had a bit of a splurge last night and ate steak and chips (home made chips, so lots less fat used) but I try not to eat too many carbs on an evening.

well got myself weighed this morning and yippee lost 3 lbs, and now I'm 10 st 13lbs, finally back into the 10 stones and I owe it all down to you guys.

I had got myself stuck in a rut but knowing that I had to weigh myself today and report back, really got me into the zone, honestly I kept repeating the title of this thread, nothing tastes as good as slim feels and it really helped me, so thanks so much, I just hope I can keep it up [Hmm

Mind you I got coffee morning this morning and there is always cake on offer, don't know if I'll be able to resist???

Good luck to all those weighing Smile

dinkystinky · 26/11/2010 08:51

TDW - well done! If you do have some cake, just have a small slice! The way I see it its about changing your eating habits so you eat healthily and well - but that doesnt mean you cant have the occasional small indulgence. Life with no cake/wine/biscuit/insert indulgence of your choice at all would be v dull indeed - and is likely to lead to biffing at some point on all the forbidden stuff anyway.

Slobbadan · 26/11/2010 09:08

Dinky i hope your back is better soon and by next week you are sure to have lost, and this week just look on the fact that you did not gain!

TDW well done on your 3lb!!!! thats great, and being in the 10st must feel fab!

justaminute · 26/11/2010 09:13

Well done everyone, it's looking good for losses this week. I have lost 1 pound Smile. Very chuffed I honestly thought I would have put on or at best sts as I found last weeks 3lb loss a bit unrealistic. I moved the scales around the bathroom several times for fear of an erroneous reading but they kept saying the same weight. I'm claiming it Smile

Weekend might be tough, I have a girls night out and a big family lunch thing. I'm not going to mention that I'm trying to lose weight as family members always try to sabotage me - "Go on a little bit won't hurt...you look fine... you don't need to worry etc etc" However as dinky says life will be very dull if I don't indulge a little bit.Wink

Shaxx · 26/11/2010 09:36

Oh well done Slobbadan, Thedogwalker and Justaminute. And well done Dinky on staying the same. That takes effort too esp whe you can't exercise!

Well I started on Monday and have lost 2lbs. Hooray! I'm 10st12lbs.

I have a busy day today and have a girls night in with take away and dessert tonight! I was thinking of taking my own ww dessert or something and just making good choices. My friends won't mind as we're all very close. They'll just laugh at me.

I've also got a family get together tomorrow. I plan on being 'so starving that I can't wait for lunch and must have this apple and a big glass of water' a bit before we sit down to eat.

I had a cheese and pickle (really small amount of cheese) sandwich and apple for breakfast. Really unusual for me but I think I was so hungry from last night and this morning (got up and shredded) that I felt like having lunch rather than breakfast!

Undertone · 26/11/2010 11:00

Mornin' all.

Woo hoo! 12 stone 4.8 down from 12 stone 8 two weeks ago (didn't weigh last friday as was on). 3.2lbs in two weeks. Rock and roll.

11 stone 13 by Christmas feels doable. That will mean I will have lost 3.5 stone this year since March.

Then I have January-May 2011 to lose a further 1.5 stone to get comfortably into a size 12 for my friend's wedding on May 29. It'll be hard, but being photographed for perpetuity looking H.O.T. at the first ever one of my friend's weddings will mean A Lot.

Then I can lose another 0.5 stone ready for the beach in July!! OMG... I'm going TO THE BEACH!!! Maybe I'll just walk around naked all next summer?

iluvcake · 26/11/2010 13:10

Wow! Undertone, that's an amazing loss this year-go girl!Grin.

Well DONE everyone! Dinky as well-I think s/s is still good. As long as it's not going on, that's the main thing!

I am 9.10.5 this morning so have lost 1.5lb which I'm really pleased with as I didn't get back into the zone properly until Tuesday.

Let's not let it go to our heads this weekend!!Wink

p.s. Have Buda gone AWOL?Sad

Undertone · 26/11/2010 13:49

I'm sure I saw Buda over in chat a little while ago...

Stay strong Dandylioness, it sounds like you are doing everything right so I'm sure there will be a loss next week.

I agree that the advice/posts this week have been fab - they have definitely kept me on the straight and narrow.

Undertone congratulations on losing over 3 stone so far this year. I salute you Smile

Shaxx · 27/11/2010 09:42

Dandylioness keep going! You will lose!
Check your portion sizes (esp for carbs) and keep drinking water.

Good idea about the Mon pep talk. Can someone give me a Saturday one please?

I had a bit of a choc binge yesterday. I had 2 choc wafger bars, 2 ferroro rocher and a freddo. I feel so annoyed as I didn't even want them but as soon as I started, I couldn't stop! Its like a drug. I just have to abstain completely.

I have shredded this morning and have had 2 slices of marmite on toast with butter. Not a g reat start but I really need to keep a check on myself today.

Well done Undertone. Thats amazing. You must feel like a totally different person!

Hope everyone has a good day!

Slobbadan · 27/11/2010 10:42

bet you have a good loss next week dandylioness! Dont despair, this week was my first loss for weeks as i keep biffing it back on! lol

Shaxx i am also going to confess to a major binge last night, i ate FOUR fucking chocolate bars! WTF, i did not even really want them and after 2 i felt sick. Never again...(she said)

I discovered yesterday my back was not so sore if i moved about as i done all my house work and i felt loads better (enough o pull the kids on the sledge yesterday).

So this morning i completed day one of the Shred and feel really good, i was aware of a slight twinge in my back but not so to make me stop. I did have to ditch my trainers half way through though as i had that searing pain across my foot (blaming the trainers must get some new ones).

I am so up for the Monday pep talk as it dose motivate you into being good!

Today i have had a bowl of fresh pine apple a glass of water and a coffee

for lunch i think i will have some mussels i have in the fridge and some brown bread

dont know what is for dinner as cupboards are bare as im snowed in and cant get to the shop, so what ever DP brings back.

iluvcake · 27/11/2010 17:22

Slobbdan, glad to hear your back is on the mend. Take it easy though if it's still a bit twingy.

Dandylioness, it is dishearting not losing but YOU WILL-you have made the committment and you're doing all the right things. Just stay in the zone and you will see results. It's been said on here before, weight loss can be a bit irregular sometimes and lots of factors can affect it (AF, dodgy scales!) so just tell yourself that you bloody will see a loss next week!!

I too, hold up my hands and confess to a bit of chocolate biffing. It's the friday weigh-in(excuses, excusesHmm) and celebrating the weekend. I do like to slacken off a bit over the weekend (I'd probably lose a lot quicker if I didn't and have less cravings on Monday too!). It's the little chocolate puddings that come in a little string bag for me-I had five last night and felt sick as a dog. Have only had one today but also had a panini with cheese. Planning on being better for rest of weekend.

Let's lay off that chocolate people!

STEP AWAY FROM THE CHOCOLATE!!!

Its because you looked hot Dandy - its only hotties and heavily pregnant ladies that get seats offered to them Wink

Ah, Dandy, dont feel demoralised by it. You may have just been looking really tired/bit peaky which is why she offered you a seat - rather than looking pregnant. I always offer seats to people who look really tired/bit poorly too (though wasnt tubing so it wasnt me accidentally demoralising you). Though I get you on being demoralised by being mistaken for being pregnant- I had that in a shift dress I wore one day a couple of summers ago (when I definitively was NOT pregnant) - binned the dress and committed to a pilates regime that very night Grin
