dinkystinky · 31/08/2010 21:08

Ok - so its time to get your head back in the game Buda. Its NTAGABSF bootcamp for you - back to the corn thins/fruit only for snacks between meals, lots of water, up the exercise and try and zone it and you will see that loss for october.

BudaisintheZONE · 01/09/2010 08:14

Feeling more head in right place today thankfully. Having breakfast just now - smoothie made with yoghurt, milk and blackberries. Also added a spoonful of bran. Nibbling on a bowl of strawberries too.

Will take dog for walk later.

Please halp me with motivation and pmt munchie cravings!!!!!!!

dinkystinky · 01/09/2010 09:18

Mama - when the munchies hit, paint your nails or go out for a walk - anything to get away from the biscuit tin. Or drink a glass of water everytime you think of eating something - often its water cravings getting mixed up with food cravings. Am assuming the choc chunk cookies were sort of small sized ones? If so, not the end of the world, just draw a line under it and move on. If the massive ones, then you need to examine why you ate them - are you restricting your diet too much so when you do have a treat you let go totally? If so, I'd advise working in a small (and by small I mean one biscuit only) treat to have at the end of the day if you've managed to zone it well all day - can be a pat on your back for doing so well.

Come on - you know you want to lose weight and you know how to do it.

largeginandtonic · 01/09/2010 14:04

Guitargirl · 01/09/2010 18:33

Hi everyone, I find September a good month for starting afresh - new school term and everything.

Anyway, today I have eaten:
Breakfast - 2 slices of salami. Was planning on taking some fruit with me for the journey to work but in the usual chaos to get out of the house I forgot.
Lunch - salmon and green bean salad. Was served with noodles but didn't eat those.
Dinner - 3 sausages (skinny ones), roast parsnip chips, courgettes and onions.

Also had a walk through Hyde Park this morning for about 40 minutes - lovely sunshine.

YoginiYellowBikini · 01/09/2010 18:38

Hello all. feeling stupid as I only just started to try getting back on top of things today, but have failed miserably.

Greedy pig syndrome due to feeling tired and unwell. Excuses already you notice

New day tomorrow with most of the dc back to school

Wow you lot - I want to sound like you. I'm feeling inspired.

largeginandtonic · 01/09/2010 19:18

Yes Cyb the attempts would be about right.

Although i notice YOU still here too... Grin

Today i have eaten 2 shredded wheat (like eating spiders legs imo)

2 homemade chicken pasties (i know, i know the pastry!)

A packet of square crisps

I have opened a bottle of wine.

Today is not going well is it.

I am off to look at shredding DVD.

largeginandtonic · 01/09/2010 19:21

Oh and i have just got a dog so i have to walk it.

But... it is a Chihuahua and he is scared of the lead Hmm Grin

Again, not going well.

I have ordered some Boden cords in a 12 for motivational purposes. This is a good move, yes?

cyb · 01/09/2010 19:41

I think having a target is a great idea but I dont know how fast you will reach it eating Chicken Pasties (homemade). Good job cods not on here...she's have your guts for garters

largeginandtonic · 01/09/2010 19:45

I know < looks around nervously >

It was mil that made them. She didn't feed them to me though Blush

I want to lose 5lb in 2 weeks. I WILL.

Shredding looks like hell on earth.

duckyfuzz · 01/09/2010 19:49

evening podgers/biffers/zoners

I have been pretty good this week, since getting back from france on Sun, am now back to the weight I was before the baguettes got me which is great, esp considering period time too which usually = weight gain. Aiming for 10lbs in a month...

largeginandtonic · 01/09/2010 20:06

Ooooh Ducky! How are you my lovely? You must be a whippet by now surely?!

duckyfuzz · 01/09/2010 20:08

ha ha ha lgat :o I keep losing and gaining the same 4lbs! I was gyming alot though, before hols, so looked slimmer, must get back to gym next week...

largeginandtonic · 01/09/2010 20:15

I bought a dog to help with the non gyming < see below >

I must buggy march or something. We have a cross trainer in the spare room fgs. I am WEAK.

Someone come on here and shout at me.

Ilythia · 01/09/2010 20:44

'Lo all, am back home for a few days from myu mums, where I appear to have put on a few lbs, grrr. Off to FIL's this weekend for funeral on monday so all happy joy and stuffing face with crap. Especially as I have agreed to say something at MIL's funeral!

Can't understand what is going on, haven't done exercise for awhile and my under boob roll has massively increased, it's almost back to what it was, legs and bum ars still down but the belly roll is what makes me look fat. It's above my belly button so would sit ups etc help, how can I tone this back up?

lgat, do you have a pc in that room, or a telly/portable dvd player/laptop? I could go on xtrainer for an hour if I had a dvd with subtitles or iplayer running to distract me...its dead fuckiong boring otherwise.

dinkystinky · 01/09/2010 20:51

Big welcome back hugs to LG&T, Yogini, Cyb and Ducky

LG&T - sorry DH has been deployed for so long but if I recollect correctly you have a ginormous family to run around after. Am not surprised you fall into the nearest chicken pasties and bottle of wine when calm falls in the evening. Lol at the Chihuahua refusing to go for walkies. I guess you could use if for weight lifting purpose Hmm Or do as the francais and put it in a tote and carry it around Grin OI BIFFER, STEP AWAY FROM THE PASTIES UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOOK LIKE ONE. GET ON THAT CROSS TRAINER FOR 20 MINUTES A DAY UNTIL YOU'VE BURNED OFF THOSE PASTIES. Was that what you were looking for?

Still stuck in fricking flat hunting hell. Sigh. The stress is good for the waistline though as seem to have lost another pound this week. Have gymed at lunch and personal trained today so DH is now treating me to a lovely french martini (it has pineapple juice in it so is almost healthy Hmm) - we're trying to drink up the drinks cabinet so dont have to pay to move those bottles - and salad and low fat sausages in a tomato based casserole. Yum.

dinkystinky · 01/09/2010 20:53

Ilythia - big hug to you too to welcome you back. The only way you will shift the belly roll is to up the cardio again - more runs (do interval training if you can stomach it) - and combine with some abs and back exercises (plank, crunches, side crunch and bicycle are 4 excellent exercises to do - 3 x 20 of each) - you will see results.

largeginandtonic · 01/09/2010 21:00

That's it Dinky! 20 mins a day is nothing is it?

I do have millions to run around after. I should be skinny. Am trying not to think about the deployment. Xmas on our own Sad

Gah.

Must 'man up'. Have only had half a bottle of wine < clutches at straws >

largeginandtonic · 01/09/2010 21:01

Where is MammaG? Is she a whippet now too and no longer needs us?

What about Aitch and cheese?

dinkystinky · 01/09/2010 21:13

i'm setting you a challenge LG&T - if you do 20 minutes on the cross trainer a day, you can have a glass of wine at the end of the day to chill out. If not, no booze my friend. There talk about an incentive Wink

Not seen MamaG on in ages - Aitch swung by to say she'd been attacked by the baguette monster when in France. Cheese still around and swings by from time to time. Not seen the fishy one in a long time or BobbieWickham. Cocolepew and Themasterandthemagharita occasionally make a guest appearance.
