Herc i have been binging too Blush AND both my DCs birthdays are in the next 10 days

how do you resist b/day cake?

MrsHerculePoirot · 20/05/2011 19:06

I don't think you can. Maybe just eat it all in one go and then move on?!?! Or cut into pieces and freeze them?

Hello, hello! I lost some more lbs and now am just 4 lb off getting below the next stone mark.... slowly but surely... and feeling a bit more motivated again now.

For example yesterday I visited my brother's new pub, had burger and chips for lunch and then just had a sandwich for dinner later, rather than stuff my face with a whole other dinner like I usually do! Ok so the burger and chips wasn't ideal to start with, but small steps...

Just wanted to pop back to say hello, not been on thread for aaaages but glad to see the regulars are still posting so must be more or less keeping on track with things. well done

I was being a bit rubbish, had lost 2 stone but had let almost a stone creep back on (well I say creep, I mean sprint). And then I got pregnant Grin. I did intend to, but it happened a little faster than expected and my intention to lose more weight before trying properly kind of flew out of the window. Never mind.

So anyway, I'm now 13 weeks and happily have lost 20lbs in the past 7 weeks due to morning sickness! I feel like shit but am grateful fir the weightloss!

Oh Silver I am so happy for you - many congratulations! Thank you so much for telling us, I am so excited for you!!!

silver28 · 08/06/2011 17:48

Thank you! Had the scan today, very exciting to see the baby on the screen. Still feeling sick but off on holiday (only Scotland Grin) for a week tonight so hopefully the distraction will help to make me feel better. Although am hoping that I can maintain my small appetite (and new found love of fruit) while I'm away!

aristocat · 10/06/2011 09:28

Thanks. I have one DS (3.2) so know what to expect this time, sort of! The trouble is we've finally got to the stage where life is normal again and pretty easy (well relatively!) and we're going back to square one again, but am looking forward to it really Grin.

aristocat · 14/06/2011 14:26

silver i have 2 DCs (9 and 7yo) and it is lovely having two Smile. i was much more relaxed during the second pregnancy ~ fingers crossed you will be too

silver28 · 14/06/2011 20:54

Thanks aristo. I do want two and am happy, excited and def pretty relaxed (though sick as a dog at the moment, not fun but good for weight loss!). just will be a bit sad to leave behind this lovely period where I have all the time in the works for DS and he is such a lively boy, am afraid that having a baby is going to disrupt what we have (I know it will!). But DS is do excited about the baby and keeps hugging my tummy and talking to it, so that is lovely.

Anyway, sorry for thread hijack! I'll shut up about baby stuff now, plenty of other threads to talk about that on this site.

silver28 · 14/06/2011 20:54

Meant to sat I have all the time in the world for DS and he is such a lovely boy. Bloody iPhone!
