I am expecting a delivery of Foundayo tomorrow. Is there anyone else out there?

That's great. Excited for you. I am on mounjaro but didn't want to read and run. Do let us know how it goes for you.

Onefairfish · 27/08/2026 07:23

I’m on MJ but thinking of switching to Foundayo for maintenance. Please post your experience with it.

wegogovy · 27/08/2026 09:41

I’m on the Wegovy tablets and am considering switching over, anyone else?

Can i ask why? Is it side-effects?
Foundayo is less restrictive (re: eating, fasting b4 taking it etc), I think that's a strong reason that would make people consider it over wegovy.

CheeryGoldHiker · 27/08/2026 14:18

Thanks for posting. Just awaiting my first batch of Foundayo - but I’ll be finishing up my last Mounjaro pen first.

I lost 2 stone on MJ. Maintained for a year at anything from 1.25mg to 5mg depending upon appetite, holidays etc. I will start Foundayo on 2.5mg.

Good luck, everyone.

Sallycinnamum · 27/08/2026 14:25

I am considering this too. Micro dosing on 2.5mg MJ but wondering about switching. Will be keen to hear how you get on OP.

HarderBetterFasterMother · 27/08/2026 17:27

Delivery was two days later than expected, so I have taken my first tablet today.

Am off on holiday on Sunday, but will check in with any major developments (good or bad!)

Excited for you. Wishing you a great Foundayo journey of no/very minimal side effects if at all, consistent weight loss and the start of a new great time in your life.
Enjoy your holidays.

@HarderBetterFasterMother

Are you using Foundayo to maintain or to try to lose weight?

I’m interested in swapping to Foundayo once I reach goal on MJ and have titrated down, so hoping to follow the progress of others using Foundayo as a maintenance tool.

It’s the restrictions around taking the Wegovy tablets that are my main reason to change. I mean it’s not terrible having to take first thing and wait for 30 minutes to an hour before having a cuppa, but it’s a bit of a pain!

Yeah, i agree.
Even if one mostly would not have their first coffee till a certain time, taking away that freedom to have your coffee earlier if you feel like that suddenly becomes a pain.

HarderBetterFasterMother · 28/08/2026 15:25

To lose weight. I had success with Mounjaro but haven't been on it for some time as it completely stopped working for me. Wegovy does not suit me as a medication.

I know this will be slower, but I want to make real changes to how I live.

CheeryGoldHiker · 28/08/2026 18:10

Mine arrived today. So tempted to lose the remaining MJ and start on Sunday…

CMOTDibbler · 28/08/2026 18:29

I've maintained on MJ for a year now, swapping to Foundayo as of Monday, so I'm intrigued to see how it works for me

Humblebumble123 · 28/08/2026 19:01

Hi, was on Mounjaro and then Wegovy for a year and lost a ton but had to stop due to finances and put a third back on. Received by founder tablets today and have taken first one. Happy to lose more slowly and chose this as cheaper and easier. Good luck everyone :)

HarderBetterFasterMother · 29/08/2026 13:42

Having a good first few days 😊 I feel far more energetic in the mornings and I have been eating less (but still have an appetite).

I am off on holiday for 10 days tomorrow, so won't be able to weigh in. It's quite an outdoorsy trip, so I am hoping to come back feeling much fitter.

OP posts:
HKG · 29/08/2026 18:02

Out of interest, how much cheaper is it than MJ?

Solongtoshort · 29/08/2026 18:29

I have been look at this after cheque up sent me an email as l stopped my Wegovy injections just made me sick, l don’t think it agreed with me. I am not sure if £109 a mouth seems like the good price, l googled it but it says £59-£89. What’s everyone paid?

SilenceInside · 29/08/2026 18:45

@Solongtoshort there's a newish Foundayo price comparison site

https://dayo.co.uk/foundayo-discount-prices/

The cheapest supplier without needing any discounts is Medicine Market Place who are doing the starting dose of 0.8mg at £73. The cheapest with a new customer discount is The Family Chemist at £49.99 for the 0.8mg dose (they are a subscription based pharmacy), with £50 off your first order.

Obviously the prices go up as the dose goes up.

Fatmumslim01 · 29/08/2026 19:34

Following as part of me is interested in trying it as it seems so much cheaper than MJ and I'm only 13 pounds away from goal now so may be interested in foundayo to maintain. However apparently the highest dose of it is only equivalent to 5mg of MJ or so I've heard and I'm currently on 15mg of MJ so don't know if foundayo would work for me

SilenceInside · 29/08/2026 19:48

Is that comparison because people on 5mg of Mounjaro in the clinical trials lost around the same amount of weight as people on the top dose of Foundayo, I wonder? It's around 12% of starting weight for people on the top dose of Foundayo for 72 weeks, and around 15% of starting weight for people on 5mg of Mounjaro after 72 weeks from their respective clinical trial data.

CheeryGoldHiker · 30/08/2026 07:36

Solongtoshort · 30/08/2026 13:02

@CheeryGoldHiker how have you been able to start on the second amount, hope you don’t mind me asking.is Asda a subscription cost?

tescovaluebread · 30/08/2026 16:47

Has anyone had a prescriber suggest a dose to start with if previously on MJ? I'd be interested to know what dose the pharmacies suggest to start on after being on some higher mj doses

CheeryGoldHiker · 30/08/2026 22:11

I was on 5mg Mounjaro and Asda have allowed me to order 2.5mg Foundayo. So one up from the lowest dose.

I’ve just paid for 28 days worth up front, no subscription. I think I’ll see how it goes this month and look into that later.

Just taken my first tablet, decided to go for it. For those of you using Shotzy, there is an option to log Foundayo on there, if you’re a strict record keeper like me.
