@PearlsTeapot I would phone them back and tell them about the RM tracking email and ask them to get onto Royal Mail and update the delivery address.

SilenceInside · 27/07/2026 13:07

Although @PearlsTeapot , if you have the Royal Mail app you may be able to change the delivery to a Post Office or Delivery Office even if the pharmacy can't make any changes.

PearlsTeapot · 27/07/2026 13:11

Thanks I’m on the phone to them now but nobody is answering, I’ll keep trying. So worrying!

Springflowers2 · 27/07/2026 13:46

Fingers and toes crossed @PearlsTeapot

Newmummy343 · 27/07/2026 13:46

Hello ladies, i love reading everyone's NSV's. Pearlteapot I hope you get your pen okay.

I'm currently in the 12's just now and I'm giving myself till the end of August to get in the 11's. I just want this weight off now. I'd love to go into christmas time being at goal and concentrating on maintaining.

Can I ask is everyone aiming for a healthy bmi? A healthy bmi for me is 10 stone but I would be happy somewhere in the 10's and dont know if im silly not trying to aim for 10 exactly

MCR24 · 27/07/2026 14:26

@Newmummy343 my target has always been 60kg. I think it's because the middle of my Ideal weight range according to the NHS is 61.1kg so 60kg would give me leeway in any gains.

I'm currently 61.8kg so almost middle of my ideal weight.

RenegadeKeeblerElf · 27/07/2026 14:34

I haven't decided on a target just yet, it's actually quite scary to think of not needing/wanting to lose weight as I have never experienced that. For now I'm going to see how I feel at around BMI 26/27 (currently 30.9). I would love to aim for under 25 but I don't want to put myself under too much pressure, I think that genetically I would find it hard to get there, I am aware that there is growing evidence that going into menopause at a slightly higher BMI may be healthier, and I also don't want to negatively impact my daughter's body image by being obviously thinner than her (age 15 and has a BMI around 26).

They’ve emailed me back saying they changed the shipping label. Phew!

Apologies I've not posted in a while, I've been mainly recording my weekly weigh ins on my monthly starter's thread. But I had a question that someone here may have an insight into.

I need to have an operation soon, under general anaesthetic, luckily keyhole due to my new BMI. They've advised I need to stop the WLI one week before the op. The op is on a Tuesday, and I've always jabbed on a Friday. I was thinking of maybe doing a smaller shot on the Tuesday, a week beforehand?

So I'm planning on taking my normal 7.5mg on a Friday, then something like 5mg on the following Tuesday, so exactly 7 days before the op, rather than stopping a full 11 days before.

Does my plan make sense, or am I over thinking it?

I would check at your pre-op whether they mean you can inject a week before or whether it has to be clear from your system for a week.

For my gallbladder removal earlier this year I had to be clear for four weeks —which meant five weeks before Hand. And then it was six weeks before I got the all clear to go back on MJ. I was on 12.5mg and I’m now only on 5mg which I’m very happy about

MisfitMagpie · 27/07/2026 15:29

@Newmummy343 my goal if possible is 10st 6.4lbs, that would be exactly 13 stone loss, I'm tall so it puts me around 21 BMI, my goal though really is to get to a healthy weight and size. Based on BMI I will be in the healthy range at 12 stone 5 which is my current next target.

My scales were teasing me in the week and showing how close I was to a weight beginning with 13 but was not to be and settled on 14st 1.4lbs. I have now lost 131 pounds though so I've lost the weight of a newborn giraffe 🦒.

That's a relief!!! Now to wait for the parcel to arrive to be 100% sure there are enough hiccups!

I’ve been away, working at a festival! Walked over 95000 steps in the last 7 days! Our camp is up a hill and it’s been so much easier with less weight to carry.

I got stopped and told I looked fantastic in my outfit! (I was wearing a corset at the time) and one of the official photographers took my picture!

I feel so much fitter than before and although I am absolutely knackered it’s because I’ve done loads of stuff, not because I’ve had to haul my sizeable arse around!

Now to catch up on your news and chat…

caringcarer · 27/07/2026 16:56

I'm through the 2 stone loss barrier now. I managed to lose 5 lb on a 10 day holiday in France. I was a bit worried before I went because I didn't want to put weight back on again. Pleasantly surprised we hen I stood on scales after we got back.

Happy Sunday everyone. It's been an eventful couple of weeks here.

  1. I have now lost over 10 stone!!!!! It's absolutely mad to think that I have been able to do this. That's a whole person I used to carry around with me 24/7.

SW: 140.3kg / 22st 1.5lb / 309.5lb
CW: 75.5kg / 11st 12.5lb / 166.5lb
GW: 60.3kg / 9st 7lb / 132.9lb
Total lost: 64.8kg / 10st 3lb / 143lb
Left: 15.2kg / 2st 5.5lb / 33.5lb
BMI: 54.1 ---> 29.1

  1. I twisted my ankle and fell in the Tesco car park last week. I felt like a right idiot but I just got up from the ground. I didn't have to get anyone to help me, I didn't sit there trying to work up the energy to heave myself up, I didn't think anything of it. That is life changing.

  2. I have crazily bought a ticket to do hyrox in December. I was originally only intending to volunteer this year so I could go and check it out but then I thought, fuck it, what's the worst that can happen! It will be a stretch and obviously really challenging, but I've been strength training for 12 months now, doing HIIT and completed couch to 5k so I think I've got a good foundation. Training starts now. Not going to lie though, I'm fucking terrified!!!!

I was hoping to get to goal by the end of this year but I might need to pause weight loss in order to get through hyrox and the training. So far I've been coping fine on 1400 cal, which with the amount of exercise I do is a big deficit, but as things progress it's possible that I'll simply need to eat more, particularly carbs which I try to keep low currently. I will see what my coach says but I'm willing to push my goal date back a few months if necessary.

From 20 years sedentary and size 26/28 in May 2025 to hyrox in December 2026, currently size 14, is a massive change. I feel like a different person already.

Edited

You are amazing. I started on 235.1kg. I'm currently 122.5kg. I'm on 10mg and losing about 1 kg a week. I'm staying on 10mg for another month as long as I'm loosing well. If it slows I'll go up to 12.5kg.

I normally log my weight on a Thursday but after a sneaky look at the scales decided to log an extra mid-week weigh in because I have reached my interim goal of bmi of 29.9. Just overweight not obese!

I haven't been this weight since I was a teenager (now late 30s).

Approaching 50% loss compared to my start weight which seems mad.

Certainly when I started in July 2024 I don't think I thought I'd get this far.

Next goal is bmi of 24.9, although I am quite happy with how I look so will see how I get on and may revise. Though I also have cancer and my oncologist is very keen for my to get to a healthy weight so that is also a factor.

SW 26 stone 9 pounds (bmi 57.2)
CW 13 stone 13.2 pounds (bmi 29.9)
Next goal 11 stone 6 pounds (bmi 24.9)

Amazing you've lost 13 stone in 2 years. Keep going you'll soon get to your target.

Reginaphalangeeeee · 27/07/2026 23:48

Loved reading all your updates-well done looser!
some serious big milestone among you-well done!
I am trying to stay positive as the scales stay at 92kg for me. Been stalled nearly 2 months.
in that time I hover between 91-92kg so frustratingly staying around the 200lbs mark and 30BMI. I so want to break this boundary and have been running and gym going. I feel I look different and feel more squidgy but the scale not budging. I go on holiday next week and know for sure I will not reach my milestones before that. Hoping I can not do any damage in a week all in clusive.
I am shuffling my jab day this week so I can jab before I go and avoid taking it with me.
ahhhhh wishing for the under 90kg/200lbs weight with BMi sub 30 and reaching 100lb weight loss marker.
This is a long stall!!!!

Oh that's great, good to know that MMP managed to do what they said they would for you.

New style or old style pen?

afaloren · 28/07/2026 15:33

Hello, I feel a little sad today. My friend reposted something on SM saying anyone seeking to deliberately lose weight is ‘participating in starvation culture’ and should be ashamed of themselves. My quality of life is so much better since losing 11 stone. I can walk my dog. Do my housework. I’m still obese. Hardly starving. My lovely mum who is also on the jabs and lost four stone has been badly injured lately and without us both being slimmer and (in my case) fitter I don’t know how we would have dealt with it. I just took it a bit personally :( Felt like she took my weight loss as a slight against her personally.

SilenceInside · 28/07/2026 15:38

Oh @afaloren what an odd post for your friend to make. Presumably she knows you've been losing weight for a long time now- has she been weird about it before?

Obviously she's wrong! Maybe, if you are already at the lower end of the healthy weight range and you are actively trying to lose weight then maybe that's something that other people could be critical of. Even then, I don't really know what anyone would mean by "starvation culture"? Is that the current buzz phrase like heroin chic was in the 90s?

New style pen 😭

My first one. It’s a 10mg from Medicine Marketplace.

@afaloren unless people have walked in our 20 stone + shoes they can’t possibly understand how our lives have been. Don’t take it personally, brush it aside as her ignorance and her good fortune that she’s never had to live trapped in a bigger body like we have.

afaloren · 28/07/2026 15:50

Thank you @SilenceInside @PearlsTeapot the irony is she must weigh 20 stone herself but still doesn’t seem to understand! I hope I haven’t said anything to upset her. I’ve obviously been losing weight for a long time and have never brought it up.

SilenceInside · 28/07/2026 16:01

It's definitely a her problem and not a you problem, @afaloren .

flipent · 28/07/2026 16:40

@afaloren I've found more negativity has come from my larger friends. I'm more than 6st down and 4st to go. My 'slim' friends have been really supportive, interested in my journey and my choice to use the jabs. The most negativity I've had is from larger friends acquaintances/colleagues.
I think some of it stems from jealousy - I am aware that I'm lucky to be able to afford them privately.
Among the comments from people who were smaller than me, but aren't now -

'Why would you want saggy skin, you know that's going to happen right?'
'Your face is going to look older'
'When your hair falls out is it going to be worth losing a stone?'

My response has always been that I am doing this for my health, and that is more important than anything else.

PositiveAttitude · 28/07/2026 16:45

So pleased it arrived safely @PearlsTeapot. My 15mg from MMP last week was still an old style pen, but I expect it to be the last one of them I get. 🥹

People are a bit weird with what they say @afaloren. As @SilenceInsidesaid, it's not a "you" problem.

I have had my first "don't lose too much more" comment from a lovely lady who would never say anything to hurt me, but I was a bit 🙄🤔 because I am still over 14 stone and a size 20.
I have also suddenly had a lot of people bringing up MJ in conversation with me. I haven't told people I am taking it and I am sure they are digging to see if I will "confess". On the flip side of that there is one guy at work who I am convinced has been taking it and I would love to discuss it with him, but we both avoid any conversation with others and each other.... It's becoming a little awkward to be honest. 🙄😁

Some amazing losses being reported here recently. This gives me hope that I will be able to keep going downwards. I sort of can't imagine being less than I am now.
