Looks like our first thread is almost full so thought I'd start a new one and link it.
The one where we head into the summer feeling lighter and hopefully on the right path x

weighed this morning and somehow have managed, despite a week of BBQ x 2, pizza and pasta, sweltering heat, and not drinking enough to have lost 0.9 kg. Im now only 2lbs off being under 12 stone for as long as I can remember

Im guessing the vague activity in forest school did it. Im still on the 2.5mg but was surprised by a 10mg pen arrival from Bolt as was sure I was getting another 7.5

anyway they have offered me a referral which gives new users £60off, rather than the usual £40 if anyone here hasnt used them yet. They come pretty high on many of the doses

Week 20 for me (I technically started on the 26 March), and total loss is 2st 9lb or 16.8kg. I had my first gain last week, but with a 5lb loss this week (my biggest yet), I’m back on track. Just 10lb to go now to reach target weight of 9st.

Hi, what is the current dose you are taking? I’m on 5mg and have lost similar to you as well in 20 weeks. But the food suppression is not as strong now. So thinking of increasing the dose to 7.5mg.

thinkofsomethingdifferent · 17/08/2026 08:18

@Rainboatim on the 5mg, but about to go down when I order tomorrow back to 2.5. For me, the supression is very strong - sometimes to the point I’m literally force feeding myself. I weighed yesterday and I’m 9st 9, so although I only lost 1lb this week I am starting to think I don’t really need to lose much more. I’m quite broad so my upper body has stayed the same size, whereas my bottom half has almost dropped two dress sizes. I might start to look a little odd! I’m also going abroad on Sunday and I won’t be taking my pen. I’ll be jabbing tomorrow as normal, then that’ll be it until the 6th September. So I think returning to the 2.5 is my best bet.

MyGardenDaisies · 17/08/2026 10:44

Hello!

Just took my 18th jab. Got 10 jabs worth in my fridge case 😄 I buy when the prices drop to keep a stock and cost low.

Forgot to weigh myself before I had drinks and breakfast and got dressed, so will see tomorrow.

last week I lost -3kg, so expect no loss this week or maybe a gain as I’ve been quite hungry. Anyone else find the hunger levels and suppression to be like a roller coaster ?

pomegranatepie · 21/08/2026 09:23

I will be taking jab number 20 this week and I have now lost a total of two and a half stone on mounjaro, and just under three stone since January.
I am two pounds away from target, and at the lowest weight I have been in at least the last decade, which felt like a totally unachievable aspirational weight just a few months ago. I have also given up nicotine this week (not fun), and still managed a 1.5 lb loss, which feels pretty miraculous.
I'm not quite sure who I even am any more!
I went up to 5mg this week, in case my appetite increased while stopping vaping, and think I will do the same next week, and then start titrating down to find a good maintenance dose. I don't think I want to lose much more-my BMI is now 23.4, so I am officially a healthy weight. Now the big challenge starts, maintaining my weight, something I really struggle with. My weight has always ballooned after big life stress events (of which there have been many over the last few years) so I need to find a way of coping now sugar and nicotine are off the table!

Mounjarome · 21/08/2026 13:30

Hi all I was on the thread when I first started but haven’t kept up with it terrible at these things!
so nice to see the success stories on here. I was 78kg back in March and now I’m 65kg can’t believe I’ve lost 13kg unfortunately still bmi is in overweight range at 26.2
I’m on 3.75mg but think I will go up to 5mg today as I’ve been up and down the last month weight wise.
my target is 59kg so 6 to go! Hopefully can get their in next 3 months. Have 3kg to go to get to a healthy bmi so that’s my target for end of Oct when we go on holiday. Apart from my partner no one has commented or noticed my weight loss which is disappointing. I’m still in size 14 but clothes actually fit now I stress of bursting at the seems so realistic I was probably a 16 before!
also my bp has lowered before losing weight it would often be birdlime in the 130s/mid 80s but now it tend to be 110s/70-80 so im really happy about that.

Well done - I've lost two and a half stone, my daughter and three work colleagues have noticed my weight loss but no one else has mentioned it.

But, I've been good at dressing and disguising my fat body so maybe it's not that noticeable to the eye. Much more importantly I'm just in from walking the dog and noticed how much easier tackling the "bloody hill" has become. I even quite enjoy it. 😁

Thesehills · 22/08/2026 08:33

Week 19 weigh in today.

Starting weight: 15 stone 7lbs
Todays weight: 13 stone 1lbs

2 lbs off this week after maintaining last week.

For the past couple of weeks or so, I've dropped down to 2.5 mg from 5 and am not jabbing every seven days, I'm getting to around ten days. I've been ok actually. I still have suppression it's just not quite as strong. I'm trying to ease myself off MJ slowly whilst losing another stone. My goal weight is around 11 stone 12.

Anyhow lovely to hear from you all and to see everyone doing so well.

Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Just been reading through some previous messages and see a lot of you stay with same provider obviously if you can afford to and like the service great but . I did want to advise if people are finding it difficult to keep up with the cost then please change suppliers. I have changed with every single pen! I’ve just ordered my next 5mg for £127 I use the monj comparison website it lists all the doses and the offers (they are legit site and only list registered pharmacies) I really recommend it and don’t get anything for doing so! It’s monj.co.uk.

Hi I ordered it from www.new.co.uk it was discounted to 132 anyway but I added the code MONJ10 for additional discount which brought it down to £127

Mounjarome · 22/08/2026 11:32

I don’t think that link is working but it is new.co.uk look at the monj website and it takes you straight to it.

@thinkofsomethingdifferent your target is similar to mine. Don’t mind if I ask you how tall you are? or any other shorter women on this thread? I’m barely 5ft 2 so to reach a the top of the healthy bmi range I need to be 9st 10 thought my target is 9st 4 so bmi would he 23.8
do you measure your calories? I’m finding it’s getting hard now as my weight lowered. How many calories do you have a day? Cuz I’m so short according to TDEE I should be eating 1000kcals a day to lose 1 pound a week. But also everything says not to drop under 1200 I did read though if on GLP1 then that boosts the weight loss more so can still lose 1-2 pounds eating 1200 has anyone found this to be true?

caringcarer · 22/08/2026 12:36

I went on a plane yesterday and got the first time in 6 years I didn't have to have the seat extension belt. I was so happy.

MyGardenDaisies · 22/08/2026 17:11

@Mounjarome I change each pen too and now just paid only 103£ for 2.5mg and previously 136£ for 5mg So much cheaper like that !

NettleTea · 23/08/2026 09:56

first time having a gain - only 300gm so hardly the end of the world. I have been lax in my tracking. scary to see how close the 'lose weight' calories are to the 'gain wait' ones though - Im certainly not going for the sprint, and I am only on the low dose of 2.5mg though, so I just need to keep on top of things and keep hydrated.

Ive been on 1200 a day since the start and lost just under 2 3/4 stone

custardlover · 23/08/2026 11:21

I stayed the same this week. I don't have much more to lose so that is ok but I wouldn’t want to stop now, while on 5mg. I haven’t been tracking calories at all just stopping eating when full but maybe I need to pay more attention.

I've been the same, not tracked calories but making sure I eat plenty of protein. I definitely don't overeat anymore which is good. Realistically I could do with losing another half stone but don't really want to go up to 7.5mg.

MyGardenDaisies · 24/08/2026 15:32

I had a strange experience today.

I was supposed to take 4th jab out of a pen but it wouldn’t twist. I ended up forcing it and got it to 1, but the push down bit would not go all the way to get the last dose out.

last week I felt crazy food noise, my partner noticed the difference of me speaking about baking and eating more too.

I now wonder if the pharmacy had sent me a dodgy pen? The first 2 jabs seemed to be working well of this pen but I wonder if I was riding on the coattails of the previous 5mg pen?

so strange!

either way I decided to go back up to 5mg 😆 if the pen was fine other than stuck, I still felt like I needed more help, the 2.5mg was not cutting it!
looked back at tracking and still was hitting about 120g protein and was in a small deficit across the week but I was hungry !!!

trying to drink more water this week and up the exercises too.

my hair loss continues, even with iron supplements, so wonder if it’s just that 30kg in 11 months is a lot, and my body is now fighting back a bit more??

has anyone taken a diet break to maintain intentionally and then resume loss? I don’t want to stagnate / maintain current figure, but also start to feel like wow this is a lot I’m losing !

pomegranatepie · 25/08/2026 08:52

That definitely sounds like a dodgy pen @MyGardenDaisies , hopefully they will send you a replacement.
I have found that I get fluctuations in my suppression and food noise no matter what dose I am on, and a lot of that is probably hormonal, so maybe that's a factor? Or maybe you are just not eating quite enough?
Luckily I haven't noticed any hair loss so far, but I had a ridiculous slightly unmanageable head of thick hair to begin with. I am seeing quite a bit of difference in the fullness of my face though, and am keeping an eye on it as I really don't want to lose so much that it starts to age me!
I haven't had an intentional break, but have had a few weeks here and there where I have maintained before losing again, and figured that my body was doing what it needed to do.

MyGardenDaisies · 26/08/2026 08:07

@pomegranatepie definitely eating enough, I’ve been losing on average consumption of above 2k kcal. haha it’s definitely hormonal!

Feeling much more suppression now that I’ve taken a 5mg jab on Monday. Really hope to see a new lower when I weigh myself on Monday.

thinkofsomethingdifferent · 26/08/2026 19:16

@Mounjaromeim 5ft 6, i was consuming around 1200 calories a day but sometimes much less as i just couldn’t eat.

I was due to jab yesterday but im abroad and haven’t brought my pen with me. It feels quite liberating to eat, and also to be able to drink alcohol without it coming back up. I know I will probably put on a stone whilst away, but my pen is at home ready for my return next week.
