Looks like our first thread is almost full so thought I'd start a new one and link it.
The one where we head into the summer feeling lighter and hopefully on the right path x

App shows 24 jabs, 19kg lost.

Nothing lost in a month though :(

I have dropped back to my pre-hospital weight now, but can't seem to lose any more..

The suppression is gone and the food noise is back, so it seems that 7.5 has stopped working. I have tried so hard, but have also eaten stuff that I know I shouldn't, as hard as I try to be good.

From Thursday, I am on the slim-fast diet for 2 weeks - a liver reducing diet before the op, so I really don't see the point in going up to 10 as it would be the week of the op, and I am restricted to light foods after the op, so hopefully all of that combined will make me keep losing, and then I can go up to 10 once I have recovered from the op.

Well done to everyone who is losing

NettleTea · 05/10/2026 16:19

weigh in this morning, a day late, and down another 0.6kg. so that is 20.6kg in total so far. My Nutracheck asked me for a new target weight and Ive put my final one in, which is 57kg... Its a long way to go still, but feels good to be over half way

thinkofsomethingdifferent · 06/10/2026 22:07

After stalling at 10 stone im now down to 9st 8. I was a little shocked tbh. So from starting to now, im just 3lb off a 3 stone loss. And at that point, I will need to maintain as I’m starting to look a little too thin.

MyGardenDaisies · 09/10/2026 20:55

@mounjaroatlast good luck for your surgery!

I have had great suppression this week on 7.5, it’s first Friday where my weekly total still has spare calories.

I have seen further weight lose c but will weigh in tomorrow morning and properly calculate it. I think I’m very near my first big goal of having lost all of my first and second pregnancy weight.

Isabelle70 · 10/10/2026 07:56

I have lost 1st 11lbs and was asked yesterday if I had lost weight, that’s the first comment in 6 months. Mine has been very slow, which is what I have wanted.
No one knows I am taking the medication so I said I was calorie counting and portion control, which I am doing and logging in the app.

Just catching up and checking in.

Well done everyone, lovely to read all the good stuff going on.

I've been off MJ for a month ish now, steadily decreased my dose from 5mg over a few weeks. I have lost another 2 lbs of my last half stone. It continues to be very slow but I feel that's a good thing.

MJ has been fabulous for me. I've felt great on it and it's been worth every penny. Off MJ is good, I still count my calories but it's all very manageable. For anyone wondering and contemplating coming off, it's really not too bad at all.

Lovely to catch up - have a good weekend everyone.

ElvisandAngel · 11/10/2026 08:13

I have lost 39lbs since I started on the 29th April. Nobody has mentioned this to me at all since I started apart from my husband, it sometimes feels like it is not real and hasn’t actually happened. I do however feel more flexible in my body and have less aches and pains in general.

I am still on 5mg, I didn’t move up to 7.5mg when my weight stagnated for a month and I have found that if I track what I am eating really carefully I lose weight and if I don’t I just stay at the same weight. My weight loss now is never more than a lb a week at the most.

I still have a stone and 3lbs to go. I am hoping I will be there by next summer.

this is really good to know. Ive been wondering how it would be out the other side, although Im not sure if I will have 'another side' if Im going to plan to keep microdosing for the inflammation. I got frustrated with the stalling so have done my first increase from 2.5 to 3.75 this morning. Im currently sitting a smudge above 11 1/2 stone, so still a couple of stone off target. And I just want things to speed up a bit as it was only another 100gms this week, which although is down, it feels like a stall again. Plus Ive been back on the bad eating habits a bit - ie eat breakfast, dont eat again until about 5pm and then snack on bits while cooking dinner. Still under calories, but not a healthy way to do it. That lunchtime something seems to be so difficult for me to manage. Im doing alot of Uni work at the moment but there is not really an excuse beyond the hyperfocus business and disorganisation of preparing to have things in the home which are ready available and nutritious. I have been unwell too, so thats not helped anything

mounjaroatlast · 11/10/2026 12:59

it is nice when somebody first notices it. I saw somebody the other day, who ha always been a big lady like me, but is now half her bodyweight and looking great and I told her I was on MJ and she said so am I. I had guessed she was , but never asked. She said that in order to lose weight, she had to literally starve herself, so MJ is the only way that worked for her.

I started a 2 week slimfast diet last Thursday. Even on MJ it is still hard sticking to nothing but 4 shakes a day (and squash). I thought that being on MJ would really help , but I think it does prove that the 7.5 is not as effective as it was. Probably a lot of what I thought was MJ making me unwell was actually the gallbladder Grin. 11 days and counting - for the op - and normal food a few days after that!

one more prescription on 7.5 and then up to 10mg in 4 weeks.

Nettle - I often grab a cup a soup and toast for lunch, is that something you could do? or I make leek & potato soup in my soup maker, takes about half an hour including cooking time, and then have 4 large portions for the week or to freeze for another time.

mounjaroatlast · 11/10/2026 13:00

Forgot to say, down to 115.7 this morning, lightest yet, and probably thanks to the 800 cals a day slimfast Envy and that's not envy...

MyGardenDaisies · 11/10/2026 14:58

Hi! I’m having a very active week a with the business have either forgotten about food or felt great suppression. Excited to weigh in tomorrow hopefully a new low !

yes I need to do something like that, just to ensure I dont flake out. Ive had a couple of times when I think my blood sugars are low, so I need to be careful.

pomegranatepie · 12/10/2026 09:55

Hello, just checking in, good to hear that you are managing well without Mounjaro @Thesehills , I have dropped back down to 2.5 and maintaining solidly, still focusing on eating well, but not calorie counting. I am planning to keep this dose for a bit longer, maybe starting to spread it out to 10 days between jabs?

Good luck with the op @mounjaroatlast , having my gallbladder surgery was life changing, I had been so unwell.

I am struggling a little to decide whether to keep maintaining at this weight- I am just under 5 foot 7, 10 stone 10lbs -BMI 23.5 and a size 12 (10 in some things) or try and lose a little more. I still have a fair amount of squidge around the middle I think. I feel like I don't trust my own judgement on this- having been overweight for most of my adult life this feels like a fantastic result, but I keep seeing other people setting targets much lower. What target BMI is everyone else aiming for?

NettleTea · 12/10/2026 11:24

Im aiming for about 9 1/2 stone, I am 5 ft 4 inches. I think that would put my BMI at 22.8 which is just on the higher side in the normal/ healthy range. Mine is currently 27.8 which is the middle of the overweight range

mounjaroatlast · 13/10/2026 15:05

At the moment, my goal is just 10kg at a time on the app, but i will keep going until I can't lose any more.

I am only 5'3 and have lipodoema on my upper legs mainly and giant lipomas, so am never going to slim into some skinny little thing.

I remember the 80's though, at school, following Rosemary Conley Hip and Thigh Diet, or the Chat All Star diet, and my weigh was about 8.5 stone and I thought I was fat. Shocking.

Back then I was a size 12 which was basically "normal". 10 was thin, 14 was plump and any over that was large. That is how it was perceived then.

Thanks Pomegranate.

I'm heavier than you and a size 12/14.

I'm slowly going to lose another half stone. For me, my goal is about deciding what weight my body can happily maintain, being within a healthy range and being happy with what I feel about the way I look.

I think it's very personal. See what your body finds is a happy and doable weight and also what weight you feel good at.

Really well done.😊

22sra · 20/10/2026 21:23

Can I ask what doses most people are on now?
I’mwondering whether I should up to 5mg for my next pen as my weight loss has been slow and I’m starting to snack again here and there.
I see people talking of doing 3.75mg. Is that just to manage side effects? Has anyone noticed a big difference between 2.5mg & 5mg? It’s much more expensive, but if I opt for doing 3.75mg I suppose that would spread it out a bit more.
Just looking for some advice as I’ve missed a lot from the chat recently so have lost track of where people are at.

NettleTea · 20/10/2026 21:55

Ive gone back down to 2.5 after feeling so horrible last week. I also had a couple of incidents of very low blood sugar, even though theoretically that shouldnt be the case. I do know Im very sensitive to things which lower blood sugar - I had exactly the same when taking chaga mushroom that a friend had collected for me .
so I took the 2.5 a day late and will only have 6 days before my next dose, so its increased very slightly but hopefully I will be OK this week.

MyGardenDaisies · 20/10/2026 23:33

Hi!

I’m 25 weeks in and about -18.5kg
on 7.5mg and don’t plan on going up.

the weight is going very slow now. Need to reduce kcals. In last 5 weeks 2.5kg loss, but last 3 weeks have lost about 200g/week.

I will continue on 7.5 as long as I still feel suppression some weeks and lose weight. If I maintain for a few weeks, I’ll go down in dose and just accept I have to apply my own willpower.

I lost 15kg before on my own so I know I can lose the remaining solo too if needed.

I plan on using mounjaro till spring ideally

MyGardenDaisies · 21/10/2026 06:49

I’ve just hit my first big milestone goal !!

starting 150kg, now 116.3kg, which is my pre pregnancy weight.

so I’ve lost 19.5kg in 25w2d on Mounjaro and total 33.7kg in 13 months 🥺

reassessed my goal and think I’m more muscly now so aiming for 99.9kg next, which will be nearly healthy BMI territory. can’t believe I’m 2/3 done with this weight loss!!
