@Astravanga: the appetite suppression seems to be very minor this week (jab 4) and I was even hungry after dinner last night! This is after barely managing kiddie portions the first 2 weekends
For me it’s clearly time to go up a dose and I have my 0.5 pen waiting for me
I’m planning to jab 0.3 (by counting clicks) next week and see if that has an impact, then 0.35, 0.4, 0.45 and 0.5 vs just doubling the dose overnight
The reason for this is to be on the lowest effective dose, so I can go up as slowly as possible while still losing. I am thinking about how I will eventually come off it (dosing down slowly too) and finding the right maintenance dose to use
I also have a family member on this - she’s been losing nicely on 0.5 for a couple of months but might need to dose up again as has stalled so I think this is just part of the process
The official’ guidance is 1 month each at 0.25/0.5/1.0/1.7 and then this or 2.4 as your ‘losing weight’ doses. But if I can lose on less I will )and if I can’t I will accept it)
For me the biggest barrier to starting WLI was fear of stopping and regaining all the weight so I am wary of this and don’t want to rush through the doses, hit a plateau and have no higher dose so go to or anything else
Food noise/obsession still reduced but creeping back a bit eg ate crisps at the pub for the first time since being on WLI this week : funnily enough they didn’t taste as good as they used to!
