Have you got the scales on a hard floor @pickle75 or have you had any other signs that they’re not reading accurately? Mine go a bit funny if the battery is getting low. That said, I wouldn’t worry too much if they aren’t showing much weight loss at this point as scales are a very poor indicator of fat loss. If your clothes feel a bit looser then that’s a better sign. I’m definitely hoiking my waist bands up a bit more than when I started.

Yes, scales are on a hard floor though perhaps I should test them for accuracy with new bag of flour or something...not thought of that. Or, perhaps changing batteries. But, you're right and I know I've posted before about the errors of being hard-wired into only seeing weight loss success on the scales. I do think I have maybe felt a little slimmer this week in ways which are totally indefinable but I imagine some may relate to.

Sanch1 · 19/06/2026 14:47

I have a rule to only stand on the scales once!

pickle75 · 19/06/2026 14:54

LOL @Sanch1 think I might adopt your rule - I like it!!

For the first time today I wasn't able to finish lunch which was just a tuna salad. Is it finally starting to kick in ? I will be using my 4th 0.25 jab on Monday.

On another note, anyone else with Voy ? Do they just automatically send the next month's pen in time to start the new dose ?

mumisfull · 19/06/2026 20:46

I weighed today as it’s been a week and I’ve lost 4.5llbs. A lot of it is water weight as my ankles, which are normally the size of a beach ball, are hardly swollen! I’ve found the appetite surpression really noticeable and the drop in cravings for sweets and cake is gone. I’ve been lucky so far with side effect - quite nauseous on days 2&3 and constipated (but also just had to start on iron tablets). It’s all liveable with for the lack of food noise!

Yes, and they’ll send the next dose up unless you specify in the app that you want to stay on the same dose

First weigh in and 5lb down 💕
I’m not looking at the bigger picture just yet, too daunting.
Second jab today and going away for the weekend so hopefully I’ll feel okay and not too nauseous like last time.

WoIsMe · 20/06/2026 06:45

@Lexy2345 the nausea and burping went away for me after the first week or two. I hope you have a lovely weekend away.

Umarshariffi · 20/06/2026 09:58

morning all.
Third 0.5 dose this morning, 2lb loss this week so nice and steady. Feeling pretty good this week as bowels back to normal.
@TheDogsMother your Voy app ‘plan’ confirms next pen date.

StarCourt · 20/06/2026 10:40

First jab last night and my scales are arriving today to get my baseline. Keeping everything crossed I don’t get side effects. 🤞

Clearly my scales are rubbish but what would you think in my situation this morning; did my weekly weigh in (for context, this is 3rd wk - 1st weigh in lost 6 lbs, 2nd weigh in gained 2 lbs) and firstly scales said I had lost 2 lbs, thrilled but just to make sure stepped on again and said I hadn't lost anything, twice but then stepped back on feeling v disappointed and then said I had lost 1lb. For my mentality I want to at least hold onto 1lb loss but am i being foolish and deceiving myself too much? I did also measure myself and it appears I've lost a little round my hips but not waist.

@pickle75: this is me too, scales are all over the place!!!

Nice reading the updates from some of you , including @mumisfulland @Umarshariffi - those are some good losses ☺️

Im feeling like the effect of 0.25mg is a lot less re appetite/fullness than it was in the first 2 weeks so I plan to go up to the dose when I jab on Wednesday (but just to 0.3 the first week as I don’t want a sudden increase and constipation!)

Jeans feel less tight and food noise is less so it’s working… but slowly!

Question? Did anyone find you had different symptoms in a different site? Like my first dose I did it on my right side tummy, I got a little headache and sulphur burps nothing after that just felt fuller after food, my 2nd dose I did it on my left side tummy, I got a migraine within hours after I had to put myself in a dark room it was painful 😖, pain in my tummy but not painful like a dull ache, everything I eat tastes bland, no food cravings just a dead feeling of nothingness. Anyone else been like this after injecting into a different site?, I've been reading other stories were people inject to find the right place for them eg the thigh works better symptom wise than the tummy that gives them all the symptoms, if you get me?.

Astravanga · 21/06/2026 07:43

@Emowoman90 I've not had anything like that yet but it seems to be a thing for some people!

Like others @LoSlo3toGo I have found less effect on appetite and fullness during the second and third jabs of 0.25mg. I spoke to my relative who says it means I ought to increase my dose.

I do think I am less bothered by food and especially junk 24/7 though which is a relief - although like hunger it's so easy to forget about it when it's gone, so I need to remind myself that my 'old normal' was being absolutely obsessed with eating from morning till night.

LoSlo3toGo · 21/06/2026 09:36

Hi @Emowoman90 - I’ve not had this experience either, I wonder I what you are feeling relates to both the drug building up levels over time (I felt a bit tired in weeks 2-3 and I think this was why) and maybe hydration

LoSlo3toGo · 21/06/2026 09:46

@Astravanga: the appetite suppression seems to be very minor this week (jab 4) and I was even hungry after dinner last night! This is after barely managing kiddie portions the first 2 weekends

For me it’s clearly time to go up a dose and I have my 0.5 pen waiting for me

I’m planning to jab 0.3 (by counting clicks) next week and see if that has an impact, then 0.35, 0.4, 0.45 and 0.5 vs just doubling the dose overnight

The reason for this is to be on the lowest effective dose, so I can go up as slowly as possible while still losing. I am thinking about how I will eventually come off it (dosing down slowly too) and finding the right maintenance dose to use

I also have a family member on this - she’s been losing nicely on 0.5 for a couple of months but might need to dose up again as has stalled so I think this is just part of the process

The official’ guidance is 1 month each at 0.25/0.5/1.0/1.7 and then this or 2.4 as your ‘losing weight’ doses. But if I can lose on less I will )and if I can’t I will accept it)

For me the biggest barrier to starting WLI was fear of stopping and regaining all the weight so I am wary of this and don’t want to rush through the doses, hit a plateau and have no higher dose so go to or anything else

Food noise/obsession still reduced but creeping back a bit eg ate crisps at the pub for the first time since being on WLI this week : funnily enough they didn’t taste as good as they used to!

I don’t feel that I have a lot of appetite suppression, in fact I’m frequently very hungry, but it’s much easier to make better food choices and to wait to eat. I’m also leaving some food on my plate sometimes which is practically unheard of for me. I’ve had five jabs and I’m down 6.5 lb overall.

Frieda86 · 21/06/2026 11:32

That’s brilliant @Wols,6.5lbs is definitely a loss (not water etc). Also finding it easier to make good choices & wait to eat - I really couldn’t before

Just wondering if anyone had side effects on 0.5 they didn’t have on 0.25? I’m due my first dose of the 0.5 the night before we have to leave for a week’s holiday in Europe! The last thing I want is to have some horrible side effect while I’m away. For the 0.25 I’ve had some constipation but it’s manageable, no other nasty effects. I see on the Voy app you xan pause for a while

With hydration im on the ball with because I'm constantly thirsty, maybe it's all in my head who knows 😂. I'm on jab 3 this afternoon and I'm going with the right side like my first and see how I go otherwise I'm happy with it, i've lost 6.5lbs in the last two weeks.

All all, im so glad I found this thread. Im thinking of starting wegovy after many weeks of research. My currently stumbling block is where to order from? All trustpilot reviews have many negative feedback around lost deliveries, broken pens, pens being left out in the sun therefore, becoming unusable and general really poor customer service. This part worries me more than taking the jab.
Can anyone recommend or share their experiences so far with delivery and customer service please.

@Starrynight73 i ordered via The Independent Pharmacy, I've used them before for lots of items, extremely reliable.

i ordered my first jab last weekend and it was delivered on Tuesday. It was wrapped securely and had an ice bag round it.

They asked me for my height, weight, ideal weight a few other questions and I had to send a full length photo, a copy of id and a selfie. They may not be the cheapest but I trust them which I think is very important.

Good luck, like you I've found this thread to be invaluable.

Astravanga · 22/06/2026 12:38

Hi @Starrynight73 I too have found the range of pharmacies and info bewildering, so I have just gone with the same pharmacy that my relative is using and has a good experience with. That is Bolt Pharmacy and I have to say it's been faultless so far - easy application, then follow-up emails with their pharmacy team the next day (just to double check about a medical condition) and they okayed it that day and it was delivered by courier the next day. The related app is fairly basic but does everything you need it for. Can't speak for others but no issues at all with them.

My relative also had a good experience with Juniper prior to Bolt. Good luck.

Continuing on my 3rd jab with little to no sense of active suppression but it's definitely doing something. The feeling of being able to eat and eat is returning, but I do feel fuller quicker and that makes it more unpleasant to keep eating. Poos are later in the day but normal. Looking forward to my 4th jab on this starter dose and then moving up.

WoIsMe · 22/06/2026 13:31

@Starrynight73 I went with MedExpress and have been very happy so far.
