Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

Happy Friday all!

My weight is holding steady at around 9 stone 12 (just under) with the odd fluctuation. After my current pen I’ll be down to 12.5mg (from 15mg) so fingers crossed all hell doesn’t break loose (part of operate titrate down very very slowly!).

This week has been a bit crap, structure changes at work and my role is at risk. There is however another role I can go for. Went through this almost exactly 2 years ago so it’s frustrating to have it again so soon.

In other news a random NSV, I finally managed to get into a size 16 tunic I bought 6 years ago 😂 (had ordered a 14 and a 16 at the time from Debenhams in a sale, found they didn’t fit, but then missed the returns window). So yesterday I wore my size 16 tunic, size 12 knickers, size D snag leggings (12-14?) and my size 6 puffer coat. Just goes to show the absolute nonsense of women’s clothing sizes.

jay55 · 13/03/2026 08:39

@SerenePeeragree about 7.5, it’s a rogue dose for sure. 5 and 10 fine, 7.5 and 12.5 nope, my body goes nuts.

@Goldleafcatsorry about the work stress, hope things work out.

No change in my weight this week, and after 3 or 4 short cycles I’m on a long one again, and I always stall when I’ve not had Aunt Flo round. Peri can bloody do one.

One week until my holiday, this weekend will be lots of packing. I’m taking Easter eggs for my room attendants, and I’m not worried that I’ll scoff them before gifting them. It’s a nice calm feeling.

Have the pouch for my pens, plan to jab at least twice while away.

And today the sale of my parents house should finally complete(have everything crossed, exchanging and completing same day so no guarantees but I’m not allowing negative thoughts), I can wrap up the last tasks for my dad’s estate before I go away. Which is such a huge weight off. I expect to lose loads of weight as the tension leaves my body.

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 13/03/2026 09:19

Sell the size 12 @SerenePeer I am now looking at my size 14 stuff thinking it has to go.

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 13/03/2026 09:27

I am not at goal weight yet @SerenePeer but took my first 7.5mg dose this week and I can’t tell the difference yet between 10mg and 7.5mg but it’s a long way to Monday so that might change. If I think I am going to eat the whole fridge by Sunday I will jab a day early.

I have 4 7.5mg pens including the one I have just started. I would like to get back to at least 5mg as there is a big price difference between 7.5 and 5.

Hello ladies, I haven’t been around much for a while. Life has been busy and my weight has plateaued.

Anyway, stood on the scale today, hadn’t planned to as last week was a car crash with a birthday Chinese meal and weekend away with my daughters and too much wine and snacks. Anyway, I only went and lost a pound!!!

And I am now officially in the 12st bracket! AND I’m only half a pound away from a six stone loss! Finally! Bought a pair of size 14 jeans from Whistles on Vinted, and ok, they are still tight, but they do up!!

SW: 18st 12.75
CW: 12st 13.25 (!)

I’m rethinking my goal weight. I had said 12st 7lbs, and that is in touching distance and would put me just inside a healthy BMI. But part of me thinks I should aim for 11st 7 and go slap bang in the middle of a healthy BMI. But I am a strong muscley girl so that might be too much at my age and might leave me looking haggard. And frankly this last half stone has taken forever, so another stone and a half could take another year! Not that I’m in a rush!

Oceangrey · 13/03/2026 09:37

I've actually had a different pair of On trainers for over a year and they are so so good. The most comfortable I've ever had, and I have tricky feet. So these new ones should fit but you never quite know I'm a different style. I've gone for a darker colour this time as mine now are a light grey and looking pretty scruffy. The new ones are also waterproof, always helps in the UK.

I've dropped another half lb which makes... About 2lb since the start of the year? But slowly down rather than slowly up is good. About another lb and I'll no longer be overweight.

My body shape is looking pretty great though. I've got my proper hourglass figure back and more in the way of visible muscle. Need to buy some heavier weights above 5kg, any brand suggestions welcome.

TheSlimmingPumpkin · 13/03/2026 09:57

@Goldleafcat thats a shit work situation. I remember going through that process but there was no other role as the business just wanted to cut numbers which is how I ended up teaching for 15 years. I have no stopped teaching as the stress from teaching just led to me stuffing my face constantly.

my message above was aimed at you about titrating down. I just need to use my stash, otherwise it will be 11/26 and 12/26 before we know it.

I will probably order a 10 in a couple of weeks to help when I am going down to 5 just to keep me on the books at Oushk. I think Hira implied that they are going to be tougher on the 6 weeks inbetween orders thing and if you can’t show evidence of a stash or a recent order Oushk will now knock you down to 2.5mg. I think Pharmulous are now similar. So I am trying to balance ordering with staying on the books with cost benefits with the new no-extra dose pens coming in next month with wanting to lose a few more kilos etc.

A pound is a pound and every pound counts. I am also 2lbs off goal weight but now think another 5 or 7lbs on top of that might make a big difference. So keep on going 💪🏻

I am more of a pear shape. Got boobs measured this week and I have dropped a size down and a cup size down. My new bras feel a lot better and I don’t know what I was thinking when I purchased my last new bra before Christmas when I basically 36 but the cup size 🙄

It has taken me about a month to drop from 13st 01 to 13st 00 but I'm there! It's bonus dose week so hopefully with a slightly higher dose I'll hit the 12s next week. I'm much snackier than I have been so think it it time to go back up a bit. I've never gone about 6.25 so I'm still looking at low doses, just a bit less low!

BlueWalker · 13/03/2026 13:45

I haven't checked in in a while but still plodding on. Hovering round 9st 7, some weeks up, some weeks down. I want to get down a few more pounds so I've got some wriggle room, but the titrating down is going OK. I'm on a 7.5 dose now, with a 5 and a 2.5 ready to go - but reading through the threads (I'm still reading them even if I have no news to post!) I might book another maintenance discussion soonish to stay on the books. I've gone down another bra size, and this time went down a cup size too. So on my MJ journey I have gone from a 42F down/up to a 36FF and now down again to a 34F. Stylewise I still dress similarly to before, just in smaller sizes - and shorter skirts. I love my new legs!

Hearing you on the clothing sizes, too. I currently have on an old pair of Karen Millen genuine Y2K trousers in a 12, a new M&S tshirt in a 10, and a Hush blazer from a few years ago in a 10 but is now so oversized I could easily wear it in an 8. Hey ho…

Ah body shapes. I have been on such a journey with mine after this weight loss, and it’s interesting how having been through a few fashion cycles by now makes it easier to compare what’s on trend to what genuinely suits you.

Glad you’ve a good bra! It makes such a difference to how clothes fit.

All this talk of the Oushk call has been interesting. Wonder if they’re trying to flush out the people making pens last by taking smaller doses from higher levels?

Hello all, happy Friday! I am still maintaining, drifting between 62.7kg and 63.5 depending on how many carbs I’ve had and therefore how much water I’m retaining. Eating raw chopped veg & protein at lunch (and just eating normally/sensible portions & nutrients at breakfast & dinner) seems to keep water weight in range. As soon as I have a carby lunch with my healthy breakfast & dinner my weight creeps up. Interesting!

Fashion Friday notes! I watched Love Story about Carolyn Bessette and JFK Jr. It was pretty trashy (imagine The Crown if it only focused on Kate & Wills’ meeting through the lens of The Greatest Romance of All Time), BUT I enjoyed the hell out of it because the clothes, music, and general 90s nostalgia were all right up my street. Loved all the Calvin Klein looks and reminders of stealth wealth and fashion minimalism.

Speaking of 90s, I surprised myself by trying on some inexpensive H&M low-rise flares and liking them better on me than the high rise ones. I think it’s because I have a short waist and sizeable boobs - the extra “torso” length balances me out. Roll on the clothes I remember wearing the first time around, etc!

Hope everyone travelling is safe & comfortable and having a good time.

Mounjaropen · 13/03/2026 19:01

a very late Friday update from me:

Weight: stable at 137lbs this week. 5mg os definitely the magic dose for me in terms of feeling satisfied. I’ve tried the slightly-too-tight size 8 Roksanda dress I bought NWT from Vinted on this morning and definitely the Lagree classes are having an effect - I’m just a bit too booby at the moment… waist fits like a dream. 🤞

Exercise; Double Lagree this week 💪 single tennis (too windy) 5 x Pvolve and 5 x treadmill walks (also loving watching on the peloton the Carolyn Bessette/ JFK jnr love story on Disney!)

Food: loving Em the nutritionist recipes this week.

Beauty: fell down a Lumen device rabbit hole ( it measures whether or not you’re burning fat or carbs by analysing the amount of CO2 on your breath) - so that’s now a PEMF mat, an LED mask, an infra red sauna and a set of lymphatic drainage jet boots I need 😂

Fashion: very good, only bought a £40 cardi from h&M to wear on Mother’s Day on Sunday.

I’m off to the reopened Simpson’s on the strand for Mother’s Day lunch so looking forward to that! Hope everyone has something lovely planned. 💐

Keep going everyone!

No brand recommendations as I have the peloton weights as DH bought everything in their range…🙄 however having done a lot of online classes I’d say Try and get weights with either square or hexagonal ends on them.. it makes them more versatile for standing on etc.

Oooh Ive also been eyeing on On Cloud trainers @oceangrey so do report back!

Happy Friday skinny bitches! Still no new weight loss from me but DH swears my boobs have shrunk even more and I think he's right, so I'm sure the scales will catch up eventually.

After 4 weeks back on 7.5mg I've decided this dose does not agree with me at all. I have low level nausea most days and have had 2 bouts of horrific vomiting. I had this when I originally moved up to 7.5mg but didnt expect it again when titrating down! So I think I'll move down to 6mg at the weekend and see if that helps.

Definitely need to get back to selling stuff on Vinted this weekend - I've vowed no more new clothes until I've cleared out the old but have failed already! Had to order 2 new pairs of size 10 jeans as the 12s were ridiculously big, but thay counts as essential right? So now I need to sell all the 12s 🙈 Can't decide if I should keep an emergency pair just in case, but I think I remember @Mounjaropen saying thay just tempts fate/sets you up for failure? No they need to go. I am loving being this size and I dont care if the Internet now thinks we're all size obsessed again. I'm all for body positivity but unless you've experienced the extreme discomfort of living in an obese body, you can sit down and be quiet.

Definitely sell any size you don’t want to be anymore. You’ve got this 💪

I didn’t have any noticeable SE on 7.5mg. Hope it passes for you 💐
