Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

I can't wait to stop doing the weekly check ins - I feel like the people who finish the marathon when the roads have all reopened 😂Nudged down one more from last week though.

🥳

slow and steady wins the race though. Keep going!

Cheering you all on, @PinkArt, @Goldleafcat @BananaChickenWings and @Oceangrey- amazing progress!

I think the slow & steady approach has been very sensible, especially if you’ve a reasonable amount to lose. It’s better for your body (and your hair!), easier on your wardrobe and clothing replacements, the lot! And you’re giving yourself time to get used to being smaller and needing to eat less, while also developing healthy habits. It’s all wins, really.

On a completely different note, I’m occasionally running into some really strange anti-GLP-1 accounts on Substack and the like. It’s almost a kind of clickbait health conspiracy thing. There was one the other day by this guy who had clearly AI altered some photographs of a woman so she looked really terrible, and he was trying to make out she was a typical example of how people look after a year on GLP-1s. It was SO odd and nothing like the actual experience of being on them. Clearly he’s found a market who will gulp it down!

RayonSunrise · 09/10/2026 13:29

Not much to update on from me, I’m still maintaining, still lifting, still on 5mg! A few of my friends are now on the jabs, I am quietly supportive and always tell them when they look great. (And they do!)

Fashion Friday!! - Celebrity Traitors is back, so I’m mainly admiring Claudia’s clothes. Her stylist has a way of making me long for Goth-interpreted tweed, kilts and stompy British heritage brogues. ❤️

Same old same old, same as last week! I would love to know what happens to my boy on Thursday nights as I was 11st 9 all week 😂(I'm ignoring that I had wine and salty tapas for tea). So maybe next week will be the official 8 stone loss week.

random223 · 09/10/2026 16:22

Well done @PinkArt . Maybe you need to change yoif weighing day!

Well done @PinkArt . Maybe you need to change yoif weighing day!

I have thought this, on many many Fridays, but it feels like cheating somehow! Plus Friday's been my weighing day forever, as historicaly it was always my lightest day of the week.

BananaChickenWings · 09/10/2026 17:47

I weigh every day and add to Libra app where i track trend against target line. I confess I have been known to a) not add a suspiciously high reading b) adjust 'smoothing days' and c) change the number of days used in the forecast to massage the graph if I ha e had a bad spell! Who knows why, only I see it!

But on the whole using Libra helps me care less about daily variations and helps me see the bigger picture. I aim to continue doing this while maintaining to avoid it all creeping on again without me knowing

PinkArt · 09/10/2026 20:48

My old scales weren't massively accurate and could fluctuate by a few pounds. I definitely used to move them around to find the floorboard I was lightest on 😂

Pounds to go: 4!

Finally officially over the 8 stone line! And four tiny pounds from goal with 23 days until my 2 year anniversary.
I tried jabbing on Sat last week instead of Fri, to see if a little change might help and it seems it did. If an 8 day week works then that'd help with costs now I can start thinking about maintenance.

Yay! An incredible achievement! Now you need to do something / get something as a treat to reward yourself 🩷

Goldleafcat · 16/10/2026 17:09

Checking in! My weight is holding steady in the low 9 stone range. DH is doing well and getting better each day. Two biopsies so far on the new heart and all good (shivers my timbers to think about it).

It’s been quite the long haul (and more to go). Feeling a bit tired and slightly taken for granted by DH family (lots of hosting and ferrying, and not just for MIL but for sibling and partner). Rage treated myself to the Selfridges Fragrance Advent calendar (god knows how I managed it as it’s been like gold dust on a unicorns tail to buy) and actually for the first time since this all started (May) yesterday I had a few hours with a friend that was child free and hospital free so went for an incredible lunch at a fab Sicilian place and to the cinema after to see Practical Magic 2 (good fun, a bit silly, but definitely enjoyed it). (Loved Aidan Quinn in the original)

So pleased to see progress from the peeps even if we are a quieter bunch these days.

On it. A diamond. I don't fuck around with rewarding myself 😂
I am thinking of another reward for hitting my goal though!

It’s amazing (and sad), how many people want to find ways to undermine others when they are trying to improve their health.

Sorry, attached to wrong post. Should have been the one about nasty posts on sub stack!
