Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

@Mounjaropen thanks for asking about me, bless you. I’m doing ok, plodding on but in limbo. Signed off work at the moment as it’s just too much to juggle everything. The hospital is c50 mins away with parking (sometimes well over an hour) so it is often a 4 hour round trip and it’s tricky bringing little people in. DH has an awkward antibiotic resistant infection at the moment too so I’ve not brought DS in for a few weeks. It’s hard being the only parent and juggling everything. DH has been very up and down, but is not too bad at the moment despite the infection. Doing physio and walking down the corridor (assisted). It’s just dragging on.

MIL is quite self absorbed and sees everything from her own angle. She did come up for about 10 days to see him but did barely anything to help when she was here (she told me in advance DS was too much for her to look after). She did some washing up early on but then that ceased. So I was cooking, cleaning and driving her about like the Queen of Sheba.

Have been trying to do nice things with DS and keep things as normal as I possibly can for him. Have been taking him to days out when I can (Lyme Park v close, we were there today with a buddy of his).

The limbo / waiting is taking its toll.

Sorry just revisited the thread and saw how droopy I was, I don’t mean to bring the mood down. In other news I’m maintaining around 9 stone - 9 stone 4, I was 9.2 this morning. Despite drinking too much wine later on the evening and enjoying the odd snacky foods! But overall vaguely sensible food wise. Have been squeezing in the odd reformer class.

I am still finding it vaguely surreal wearing certain items of clothing, which is a bit batshit. Literally just some striped linen blend trousers and a white t shirt yesterday which I would have been too worried to wear in the olden (pre MJ) days.

You didn't bring the mood down at all @Goldleafcat , I'm sure we all appreciate you sharing with us while your going through a shitty time. Tiny silver lining, at least you'll have burned some calories running around after your crappy MIL 😬

Oceangrey · 15/08/2026 20:00

Oh it's absolutely my last order with them and I've been with them since the start.

Haha true! You know, I actually did!

In beauty chat - it’s £10 Tuesday at Boots. I was awake for a bit in the night (boo) but the early bird catches the worm and all that - you can get the Prai Beauty Ageless Throat and Décolletage rollerball serum for £10 (normally £27.99) and the Bloom & Blossom Daily Lift Neck and Chest Firming serum for £10 (normally £32).

I also splurged on a Neom hand wash and hand cream (normally £25 each), an Ordinary rice lipids ectoin moisturiser and an Estée Lauder eyeliner duo (oh and a Bluey bundle of bath / body wash bits for my 4 year old in case anyone fancies that haha).

I have been using the Trinny Elevator for my neck which is great but worth trying a cheaper alternative (or alternating between the two perhaps, Trinny at night)

Cantbesure · 19/08/2026 20:19

I’ve been lurking on the thread for a while with not much to post. But loving seeing everyone’s progress. You are all doing so well. What a great corner of the internet this is.

sorry things are so tough @Goldleafcat- that’s a lot to deal with. sorry to hear your MIL isn’t able to step up and be more supportive.

I’ve been on a family holiday and finding it hard to stop eating and get back into running. I’ve put a few pounds back on and feel hungry for junk all the time. I’m still jabbing 2.5mg every 10 days or so. I’m wondering if I need to bring my doses closer together to get back on track.

Ooh good spot on the £10 Tuesday! I’ve been using the This Works neck and décolleté serum - smells a bit like coal tar soap (so bloody awful then) but I think it’s having a positive effect. Will report back in a few weeks. I also think I’m having positive results from my red light therapy but again I’ll report back in a few weeks.

Great to hear from you!

I tried titrating right down - very slowly - over months. I piled the weight back on rapidly despite exercising and my usual careful diet. I’ve accepted 5mg weekly is where I’m at from here on in. It obviously does something to regulate my system in the background way beyond hunger suppression and I do think it matters if you are in or past the menopause in terms of hormone regulation. I’d go back to weekly jabbing if you can and see if that stabilises things.

You know you need to move. Start off by simply getting back into walking. You don’t need to run to get fitter or improve your cardiovascular function. If you feel like running after a while, go for a run. But take the pressure off yourself in the meantime. Something is better than nothing. In terms of junk food, are you getting enough protein to naturally suppress your appetite? Then make sure you have healthy alternatives prepped and ready in the cupboard/fridge. Have a glass of of water, decide if you are still hungry or not. For me, it’s usually boredom that sends me hunting for food. Sometimes doing something with my hands prevents that (I fetch the pile of DH’s clothes that need buttons seeing back on for example. ) you’ve got this 💪

Well, it hasn't arrived yet. The pharmacy adjusted the delivery date from Friday to Saturday without asking me, and Royal Mail tracking says that it's been delayed so I don't know what the chances are of it appearing tonight or tomorrow morning before I fly. Surely they won't deliver on a Sunday.
I even called the pharmacy on Friday and said absolutely so not send it if there's a risk of it not arriving on Saturday, and they sent it.

So unless it suddenly turns up I'm faced with the prospect of no medication while away, and having a fight to get a refund.

That sounds stressful. I’ve found Pharmulous to be really efficient. I ordered yesterday and it’s arriving today.

as @Goldleafcat says you will have some MJ in your system so try not to worry. Enjoy your holiday!

Ooh, do you have specific events in mind for your bubble hem dresses, or are you just (as the ad campaign puts it) “wearing the dress?”

i’m always overdressed 😂

And yes, I wore the dresses to dinner last week for my delayed honeymoon. 🥰

Life is short. Wear the things that make you happy and feel good. I wore a black faux leather off-the-shoulder fitted midi last week - it was a bit of a ‘slutty Barbie’ vibe 😂 but I loved it. And I even got 🔥 emojis on my insta stories (I’m hoping that is still a positive thing )

I do almost feel for the people who try to cheat you. Almost. 😁

lol. I can’t bear people who take the absolute piss. If you don’t call them out, they’ll do it to someone who might be on the bones of their arse.

You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t, aren’t you? I felt so burned after the Great Price Rise Panic when many were stockpiling that I told myself I’d at least have two “buffers” from now on, just to hedge against any future supply chain hiccoughs.

Then I relaxed a bit and ordered a week or so later than normal and Pharmulous immediately wanted to know if I was getting MJ from anywhere else before they’d fulfill my order! I told them the truth, but it does feel like prescribers are under more scrutiny and so, in turn, are we!

Hope your order turns up soon 🤞

Edited

I think with the new pens they’re on it more than normal. I didn’t realise I had a new one so got caught out with no golden dose this time 😩 thankfully Pharmulous didn’t seem to notice. Downside is I’ve had a to skip a jab this week…

Hello lovely death jabbers!

I have been awol since returning from holiday in Mexico (2lb gain following 2 weeks all inclusive. Thank you mounjaro and travellers tummy which was possibly the lettuce parasite 😱)

I'm still on 10mg but really want to start titrating down. Bit scared to as I didn't get on with 7.5mg last time and put on 4lbs, panicked and went back up to 10mg!

Off to catch up on all the beauty and fashion chat!

👋 hope you’re on the mend now? I only read an article last week in The Times about the lettuce thing. Apparently spinach is even worse and the writer (a biologist I think) said you couldn’t pay her to eat either bagged salad or spinach and that it’s usually the side salad not the chicken/fish/pork that is the item on holiday most likely to make you ill. Who knew? 🤯

Morning

sorry to those who are in the midst of stress. Big hugs all round.

ive been battling the same two kilos for what feels like weeks up and down. I know I need to track my food and eat regularly and have more liquids etc. I just feel my life is too chaotic for that right now.
Im still unpacking and until that’s done I don’t think I can focus on weight loss properly.
I could really use a month off work or a lottery win…
Once everything is away it will be mission last 10kgs.

Still the rain has been very welcome the last few days, I hope the cooler air continues.

I'm enjoying discovering all of the little changes along the way. I seem to have lost loads of shoulder weight - who even knew that was a thing! And my flat seems to have moved closer to the tube, my hips swing like Marilyn again, I can do the thin girl leg cross where your calves are parallel.
Sometimes I look down and my tummy seems really fat still, so I'm so glad I took the horrific day one photos for some perspective on that. I will never have a flat tummy but it's sooo much less pronounced than it was.

I’ve had my first delivery issue with pharmulous. Royal Mail attempted to deliver when I was out on Weds, pushed a card thru to say they would deliver Thursday. Came and went with no delivery. Late in the evening I went on the app and requested a Friday delivery and nothing has arrived. No update on Royal Mail tracking. I’m not around tomorrow. No idea what to do :(. I can’t afford to waste £170 😢

Are you noticing much heat difference between here and where you’ve just come from? We were commenting last night that it feels like we’re all on holiday all the time, only having to work through our beach time.

@rayonsunrise I went awol again - sorry! So I'd have to say there's a massive difference between temperatures - but I'm not in the South/South east of England. I'm much further north and we've had a shite summer lol!
