Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

That is definitely my experience
I do an activity where I'm getting changed In front of other women,so they take that as a green light to comment on my body ..or tell me to stop ,or be careful..you don't want to lose to much ..
at some point ..I hope ..they will find other things to talk about .
So last year I lost 10 stone and this year I've lost two stone ,so I'm assuming it will take me till Christmas for another 2 stone of
And I'm happy with that .. actually very happy..
I'm really happy I'm not gaining, and the slower I lose the more chance I have of it staying of long term .
Because it was never my plan to stay on medication long term
I know it's advised that we do ...but financially..I won't be able to stay on it for ever .
In an ideal world I'd like to be of it by Christmas..but we shall see .
I dropped down to 10 mg, 2 months ago , having been on 15 mg for some time ,then down to 12 mg ..and it is harder to stay on track with less medication.
Next month I'd like to drop down again..but it depends how this 10 mg pen I'm just starting goes ..

I think there’s a particularly female angle in this, too. Women feel so self-conscious about their own weight that seeing anyone else gaining/losing makes them worry about their own state (as Mountjaropen has pointed out).

Is anyone getting “ooh slow down” comments from men?

Mounjaropen · 09/08/2026 02:55

I totally agree with this. and now I check Vinted for everything and have sold some really random items on it. Far easier than eBay imo.

You are inspiring me to get listing again! I have a load of 12s sitting looking reproachfully at me, and I could use their wardrobe space.

My brother in law did comment and check I was being monitored and not going too far the other way.
To be fair he knows there are eating disorders of both directions in my family and he bore the brunt of my sisters cancer care.

i think being ao self conscious of my own size leads me to not commenting, other than to friends I know are actively losing to tell them they look fabulous.

Nope, never from a man. Although my partner did admit, after I said I had reached target and was now looking to maintain, that he was relieved as he had been concerned that my 'goal oriented' personality would have led to me keeping on going. However, he would never have taken it upon himself to make an unsolicited comment, other than occasionally telling me how good I looked, which was always appreciated.

My husband said something similar to me. To be fair the excitement of seeing the weight dropping off is pretty compelling, and I did wonder what “just maintaining” would be like. In the past (without jabs) maintaining weight loss has been the danger zone for me, because it’s not had a goal to achieve. It’s been SO nice to just stick here at my current weight without overthinking anything!

Mounjaropen · 09/08/2026 02:52

That sounds like a lovely combo. Can you wear it with friends instead? Cami’s are the holy grail for me - I literally wouldn’t get my arms out this time two years ago, now I love a cami top!

Possibly? I need a dressy outing to wear the full shebang. I love the coord, but it is a little “prettier” than slightly tomboy me usually goes for!

Whether we’re maintaining or still losing weight, we all appreciate support with healthy habits! And who else will understand what it’s like changing your wardrobe 3x in a year…? 😂

Exactly..I'm constantly on the look out for the next size down in the sale ..I never pay full price for anything

Happy days xx

Hello lovely death jabbers! I'm another dipper in and out of this group but have just spent a happy few minutes catching up with all your inspiring updates. I have lost the grand total of 7.5 stone now, and am at 25.1 BMI, really want to drop out of 'overweight' category. I'd like to lose another stone I think to give me a buffer and I will continue with the MJ to help with this.

My prescriber (I'm abroad) said their policy is to support you onto the lower possible effective dose for maintenance. I am currently on 12.5, so I guess I will be titrating down the doses until I maybe hit a dose which doesn't support me enough. I'm hoping that doesn't happen and I can maintain on 2.5, then come off.

Will be so interested to keep up with others' maintenance experiences. Well done to all of us!

I am also investigating Vinted here for selling things.. and have an unhealthy addiction to Primark going on for smaller clothes!

I think previously I used to throw money at the problem to disguise the fact I’ve got so big, so I feel quite attached to a lot of of the bigger clothes because of the share amount of money sunk into them… Whereas now, I’m taking advantage of the other end of the fashion scale and feel quite happy that now I’ve worn it and it’s featured on my socials so I’m happy to get rid of it and let someone else enjoy it. That said, getting rid of the massive swimming costumes was quite cathartic!

And I bought two new dresses yesterday which I’m quite looking forward to wearing… I’m in my princess style dress era with bubble hem skirts right now 👸

as a tip, take a photo of the label when you send a parcel in case it doesn’t ‘arrive’ - I had a seller claim this once and I went full FBI as the picture on the Royal Mail app clearly matched their front door according to street view.. I got my money paid out…

Hello lovely death jabbers!

I have been awol since returning from holiday in Mexico (2lb gain following 2 weeks all inclusive. Thank you mounjaro and travellers tummy which was possibly the lettuce parasite 😱)

I'm still on 10mg but really want to start titrating down. Bit scared to as I didn't get on with 7.5mg last time and put on 4lbs, panicked and went back up to 10mg!

Off to catch up on all the beauty and fashion chat!

Oceangrey · 13/08/2026 22:14

Currently really concerned as my MJ is supposed to be arriving tomorrow but I haven't seen a dispatch email and it still says Pending on the website. I'm going away on Sunday for 2 weeks, mostly all inclusive, and now pretty stressed about going without for two weeks when I've been on 10/12.5mg for a long time. Not just worried about eating but also my mental health and anxiety.
Plus the thought of it arriving late and going off in the heat.
I guess there's nothing I can do to get any with a days notice. Feel like I'm being penalised here for not having a stockpile a d just ordering when I need to.

You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t, aren’t you? I felt so burned after the Great Price Rise Panic when many were stockpiling that I told myself I’d at least have two “buffers” from now on, just to hedge against any future supply chain hiccoughs.

Then I relaxed a bit and ordered a week or so later than normal and Pharmulous immediately wanted to know if I was getting MJ from anywhere else before they’d fulfill my order! I told them the truth, but it does feel like prescribers are under more scrutiny and so, in turn, are we!

Hope your order turns up soon 🤞

Hello, welcome back! Scary stuff about the lettuce - are you okay?

Are you noticing much heat difference between here and where you’ve just come from? We were commenting last night that it feels like we’re all on holiday all the time, only having to work through our beach time.

Well, it hasn't arrived yet. The pharmacy adjusted the delivery date from Friday to Saturday without asking me, and Royal Mail tracking says that it's been delayed so I don't know what the chances are of it appearing tonight or tomorrow morning before I fly. Surely they won't deliver on a Sunday.
I even called the pharmacy on Friday and said absolutely so not send it if there's a risk of it not arriving on Saturday, and they sent it.

So unless it suddenly turns up I'm faced with the prospect of no medication while away, and having a fight to get a refund.

Sorry to hear this, what an absolute pain. The pharmacy are at definitely at fault here for not posting when they meant to originally, and then when you said don’t, they went ahead!

Maybe consider switching pharmacies for the future. Would recommend a buffer by at least one pen (even though it’s a nuisance and extra cost). Just to take the stress out of it all. Hope you still have a fabulous hol though. The MJ will still be in your system x
