Feel free to lurk or post, absolutely no judgement here, just support and encouragement as we spring into spring not obsessing over Easter Eggs for the second year 🥰

Join us here to celebrate NSV’s, weight loss milestones, maintenance and new stone brackets!
I’m on W68 D6 and on w12 of 2.5mg maintenance dose.

F in my early 50’s
H 5’ 5.5”
SW 13st 11lb
CW 9st 10lbs
GW 9st 0lb
Total loss so far at lowest weight was 61.0 lbs (at 9st 6.0) maintenance has seen 4 of those pounds go back on.

We recommend the Shotsy app to monitor the amount of MJ in the system and pleasing graphs to look at…plus the MeThreeSixty body scan app to monitor inch loss for the weeks where weight loss is slow but you might have lost body fat etc. Both are free.
Feel free to swap recipes that might inspire anyone in a food rut, tips for managing side effects, exercise tips, tips for maintenance, titrating up or down and we love a wellness/supplements/beauty/ style/vinted chat too 🤗

keep going! I’m hitting everything hard this week too - I’ve been on the wine too much lately. And I need to get into my lovely white guess dress this coming weekend.

We’ve got this 💪

Ola skinny bitches from a hot Mexico! I am loving swanning around in my bikini and low back dresses in the evening. Last night I even used a silk scarf as a top - Never in a million years did i think I'd ever be able to pull that off! And my smaller boobs were well contained my buub tape. What a life!

I have had 2 days of quite intense travellers tummy though. I've even delayed my jab as I'm really not keen to add any further issues into the mix....although that may help with the rapid gastric emptying tbh?

Thanks for the strapless bra tip @rayonsunrise - sounds like a good investment!

A scarf as a top? 🙌🙌🙌🙌 up there with a yoga co-ord 😉 how bloody marvellous.

Enjoy Mexico! At least you can watch the England game at a reasonable hour! (Assuming you’re a fan)

Oh yes, it’s the Panache Alice strapless bra. I went to Bravissimo because I felt my band needed to be smaller and wanted a fitting, and was mildly taken aback to be down to a 30FF! It’s made all the difference though.

I’d seen quite a few larger bust influencers talking up the Panache Faith as their fav summer strapless because it has a deep plunge as well, but when I tried it I definitely didn’t feel as secure. I don’t wear a lot of strappy + plunging styles anyway so went with the higher fronted Alice. No regrets at all!

Congrats @jay55, you’re doing fantastically!

Ooh thanks for the tip - I do love panache - they are reasonably priced for us bigger busted gals. My everyday bra is the panache Envy. I also love a Goddess bustier but the sizing on those is tricky to get right and the availability is low.

I’ve had a big loss this week, down 1.5kg. Still .5 above my pre holiday weight though.
Think it’s a combo of sweating, too hot to eat and an unexpected period.

Had an email from medexpress about wegovy pills, saying higher doses, in line with my current jabs will not initially be on sale in the Uk and have 10% off your next order to mitigate disappointment.

If I were to switch I’d want to start at the bottom I think, to manage side effects and work out what a good dose for me is. But it’s interesting and I think there must be high demand.

Hope your losses have continued over this week too! Fab result. I seem to be eating more in the hot weather but I have been manually labouring for two weeks solid…

Checking in from glorious Portugal! Delighted at how much easier it is to be a size 10 in 30 degree heat. Sadly, one of my girlfriends had to pull out of our trip at the last minute due to being told on Friday she has cancer. Sharp reminder to grab life at every opportunity and not put off the joyful things.

One interesting development is that I am suddenly attractive to biting beasties. I've never suffered from bug bites abroad - it's always DH that gets eaten alive! This weekend i am an all you can buffet for the pesky little buggars though! My face in particular - I have 8 bits across my cheeks and forehead and great big one on my nose. Tips for making them look less like massive zits please!

Oh and nobody looked twice (or even once) at my mounjaro pen going through security. The Frio wallet has worked a treat too.

Enjoy your Sundays skinny minnies and sending love and gentle hugs to anyone who finds today difficult.

Hope your friend is ok. A close friend of mine was diagnosed this week too. Life is short indeed.

Checking in from maintenance, and I only have sodding COVID this glorious summery weekend! It’s not been too bad, but I’m easily tired and every time my paracetamol wears off I can feel my throat’s still sore. I’ve had to bin off my social plans this weekend and have just waved DH off to drink in a nice pub garden with friends, as I don’t want to be a Father’s Day Typhoid Mary!

Hope all you skinnies are having a much more energetic day/weekend!

Hope you’re on the mend now and back to full strength 💐

Big hugs @Mounjaropensorting our other peoples houses is one of the worst tasks on earth. And the tension in the nervous system not helpful for weight control.

Stayed the same this week not surprising after the big loss.

Went to Duran Duran yesterday in Hyde park, I couldn’t stay standing for the whole thing and retreated to sit and listen to the rest. My friend who has also lost loads on mj managed to stick it out. She’s my hero.

Still loads of walking, lots of standing, loads of calories burned and it was a fabulous afternoon.

Gettingbysomehow · 06/07/2026 14:33

Wow I cant believe Im size 10. I keep looking in the mirror in disbelief. Ive spent the whole of my adult life fat and had a gastric band failure...didnt lose a pound.
I must get it removed.
Its now a 6 stone loss and Im reducing my dose gradually for maintenance.
Congratulations everyone. Im so excited to hear everyones stories.

I saw Duran Duran last year with Nile Rogers – they’re still pretty fab aren’t they?

As I think I mentioned previously, the whole exercise has left me with the knowledge that you don’t need to keep everything, and some things your children really don’t need to see…🙈

Both looked great but I could still have done without seeing them!

After two weeks of shifting/cleaning/jet washing/skipping items and drinking too much wine..I’m in dire need of a full Beauty and health overhaul. I purchased an unopened higher dose red light therapy mask at the weekend on Vinted (higher dose is one of the brands I trust so hopefully it is as described) for £100 – I had a Vinted balance of £60 so it actually only cost me £40 💪 I had a derma planning session and my eyebrows reinstated this morning. And having a full Mani/pedi tomorrow as I’m off to the Goodwood festival of speed on Saturday (in the fancy hospitality section - ooh get me!). Have bought a matching Holland Cooper Panama hat and sandals (the latter also brand new unused on Vinted) which are suitable for walking on Grass (I’m not known for my flat shoe wearing so this is a novelty.. however I’m not sure if they are really ugly or not 😂 ) I’m also looking at the Uber youth serum sold by Beauty pie which specifically targets the neck. Has anyone tried this? Not sure if it’s worth becoming a member for? I did have a massage booked this afternoon but my poor neighbour had a freak accident on their property which necessitated the air ambulance so I cancelled it because I wasn’t sure what help the family needed they’re ok thank god - due for surgery later).

DH is away until Friday so I’ve got three nights of unbroken sleep to hopefully look forward to which will undoubtedly help in the beauty/health department 😉

Hope everyone is ready for the next heatwave!

Hello all, checking in from Pamplona where I’ve mainly been wearing white (it’s San Fermin right now) and wafting a big hand fan around to try and keep cool! The heat is definitely restricting my appetite, but not my wine consumption. 😂

Lovely to be catching up with all your updates - congrats @Gettingbysomehowon your 6 stone loss and on getting close to maintenance!

I am also commiserating on the house clearing, @Mounjaropen. I’ve had to do that in the past year as well and it’s a lot, both emotionally and logistically. Glad you’ve Goodwood to look forward to. Regarding Beauty Pie, is it the youthbomb neck treatment? I have the youth bomb facial serum and it’s okay - I’ve personally decided to go back to a Vitamin C serum in the morning instead as I felt I wasn’t seeing a big difference from the Beauty Pie serum. No idea about the neck product though!

You’ve got me humming a bit of Duran Duran now, @jay55!

Well, Pamplona sounds delightful! hope you had a wonderful time? It is the Uber youth serum which may be the same thing packaged in a different bottle? Anyway, that’s on the back burner since I invested in The. This works brand of neck and cleavage serum along with the red light body duo wrap and red light activating serum which I have begun this week… Along with my higher dose red light therapy mask. Basically I’m throwing the kitchen sink at red light therapy in the vain. Hope it means I don’t need more expensive medical grade treatment… I think we all know that that’s unlikely, but at least I’ve given it a go. The body wrap is currently on sale for £144 which includes the LED.wraps and three bottles of the light activating serum. The advantage of this product is you can place it on other areas of the body other than the face… So I have this morning used it on my stomach, my arms and my inner thighs and wrapped it as a crown around my head to improve my hair regrowth. I’ll report back in eight weeks as to whether or not I can see any discernible difference!

Thank you for your kind words about House clearance… Still plenty to do! However, DD is home right now so I’m spending a bit of time with her 🥰

The irony, which I can say now there's no risk of the casting team recognising me, is that the job keeping me busy is a new weight loss series 😂
For a US channel and for people who have lost even more epic amounts than we have, otherwise I'd have pointed them in this direction.

Hello everyone! Hope your WL journeys are going well.

I've been off MJ for about 4 weeks and must say I don't feel like myself. When on MJ I have so much oomph. I do genuinely feel that the hormones somehow affect my mood as well.

I have given in and ordered some. Don't want to go through the peak of summer feeling flat and a bit mojo-less. However it's interesting/ concerning that I am taking a weight loss/ diabetes drug largely for mental health reasons.

I also find my body retains water and my shape changes a bit off MJ, to softer, fluffier, without actual weight gain.

Anyone else?

Goldleafcat · 17/07/2026 13:48

Hi everyone

I’m been lurking but enjoying your updates. Still Groundhog Day here, DH has been up and down (infection, other complications) but is doing better again. Still waiting for transplant.

MJ wise I’m on 12.5 still - keep meaning to count clicks to bring myself down to 10mg but when it comes to it I can’t be arsed. Must try though as I think it gets me 6 doses out of a pen. My latest pen that’s arrived is one of the new style ones but I do have a stash of old style pens to use up over the coming months. Toying with the idea of moving to the Oushk maintenance plan (£15 a month? Need to check t&cs again) to save some money and use my stash up a bit. Don’t mind having to start at 2.5mg again if needed as can quickly move back up (esp if I have a spare pen in reserve!).

My weight is floating around 9 stone 1lb despite less than stellar food choices over the last few weeks. I do want to make more of an effort nutrition-wise again. I’d also like to go back to reformer Pilates but finding the time is a challenge. DS will be back at the private nursery later next week for quite a bit of the summer, they have longer hours which may help.

I’ve been juggling life quite a bit lately which is a bit stressful at times. Have been signed off work for a few weeks which has taken some of the pressure off (think I may have ended up spontaneously combusting!). DS starts at reception in September so have been sorting out his settling in sessions and making a start on assembling uniform items - exciting but scary!

Hope everyone has been enjoying this extended period of sun and has a lovely weekend ahead!

How lovely to hear from you! So sorry you’re experiencing such enormous stress. Try and be kind to yourself about food choices.yes, less than ideal but at least you’re eating. Same with exercise, although with time off, try and put yourself first for at least a couple of days a week. Wishing you strength to get through the coming months. 💐

Re the maintenance plan at Oushk, I think the general conclusion on here was that it is a bit of a con and the £15 pcm does nothing other than make your bank account balance worse 😂 Pharmulous are way easier to deal with IME so give them a whirl.

Two pounds off this week and one stone to go! I really didn't think I've be saying that back in November '24.
I'll definitely let you all know if my series airs here. It's likely to as it's a channel that's also available in the UK on Freeview, Virgin etc. It'll probably air in the US first but if I was them I'd want to get it on here in Jan for the post Christmas dieters audience.

Ive lost all the weight, 6 stone, but Im staying on 5mgs for at least a year then will decide what to do next.
I need to get my old gastric band removed. I lost not one single pound on it and had it deflated shortly before starting mounjaro.
Trouble is now Im skinny it's visible through my skin, it looks like Ive got a snake under there.
